Corina was spectacular,really helped me when I had my fone stolen.Apartment had more than what was needed,spotlessly clean,nearby to all amenities and transport and very quiet and easy to find your way around.Cant recommend highly enough,7 wonderful nights.Its cold ,windy and raining now I'm back in Yorkshire !!

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We didn't use one room at all. The price/quality ratio was excellent, it had everything we needed. The location was great, we walked everywhere.

Centrally located apartment.

This was our second stay at same place. Everything was great except the beds could use an upgrade. Clean and great location. Walking distance to the city centre, very convenient. Corina and Paulo were very supportive and quick to respond.

we stayed for 9 days in the apartment and it was perfectly suited for what we needed. Very close to the old town area along with restaurants, shops, etc.. visited soccer practice nightly and there was a very nice café/bar on the corner.

Great stay

Great stay! The appartment was very clean and very well positioned in the city. Corina was of great help when needed, and we had everything we needed from the kitchenware to beach towels. It is hot as there is no AC, but the nights are fresher and there is a fan available which made it comfortable nonetheless. I highly recommend the place!!

Very good. Excellent value.

Very nice owner and on site housekeeper and property manger. Loved having parking. There are 3 flights of stairs to entry and an extra half flight when coming up from parking garage. Highly recommend rental. Great food in neighborhood. Ride shares easy to get. Could use better lighting.

This apartment is right in the bustling center of Funchal, yet in a very quiet street. Bars, restaurants, shops and the waterfront is right around the corner. The apartment is clean, spacious and fully equipped. The owner is super nice and helpful. Would definitely book it again.

Calm and neat appartment close to the old center

The apartment was perfect, very clean and well furnished. The neighbourhood is residential, so you can have calm nights. It is close to the old center and all facilities, the sea side is also accessible by a short walk. Another good point is that the terminal bus station is 10 minutes walk, so it makes it easy to go around Madeira by bus. Finally, Paulo and Corina were kind and very reactive, and agreed to welcome me at a late hour for my checkin. I definitely recommand this place.

Fantastic stay

My stay exceeded all expectations. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to all the attractions the island has to offer. Convenient and like a home visit

The location of the apartment was very convenient for walking to downtown Funchal locations and also to the roads for traveling to other parts of Madeira. We had everything we needed provided. The on-site contact was wonderful in adapting to our ever changing arrival date and time. After she met us to provide keys and garage items we actually never even needed to seek her out since we had everything we needed.

Really good choice

The apartment is in a really good place, in the "zona velha" of Funchal just 5 minutes walking from the main street. It's big and clean. There is a balcony for drying clothes. The garage is a really good plus because it's not easy to find where to park your car. Paulo has been really kind to us and Corina (the housekeeper) is amazing. She lives upstairs and helped us with whatever we needed. We really suggest booking this apartment!

Great accommodation

Housekeeper Corina was really helpful with everything, the apartment was nice and clean and well-equipped. Close to the Funchal center. Great benefit was having available garage parking place. Negative would be noise from the outside street as it's on steep uphill, so the cars and motorbikes are quite loud until the late night and the one layer glass windows are not really soundproof (but that's probably same for all houses in the area). Second would be mosquitoes, which always somehow got in from outside. But overall, we would recommend this apartment for stay in Funchal.

Funchal Flyaway

We found this to be a good place as a base to visit Funchal Madeira. We planned to use the well appointed kitchen (big fridge, Nespresso pod machine, microwave, electric kettle, gas cooker, full range of utensils provided)but there are some wonderful cheap Portuguese run eateries nearby so we didn’t bother. It is a one bedroom unit. Beds were very comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. The bathroom was great, with great water pressure and adequate hot water. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding available if needed. The washing machine was essential for us and was very good. The unit is well located close to everything. Corina was upstairs for any help required. It was a great place to explore the island from.

Très bon séjour

l'appartement est bien situé, il y a un parking payant et surveillé à 2,50 la journée à côté, ainsi que des places gratuites pas loin. L'hôte n'habite pas loin, et reste disponible si jamais on a un problème.
