Charmante maison de campagne offrant paix et tranquillité dans un petit hameau, emplacement idéal pour découvrir Northumberland avec ses nombreuses attractions, sa magnifique campagne et ses belles plages désertes. Tout est mis en œuvre pour que vous passiez un séjour confortable et relaxant dans un hébergement bien entretenu, de beaux jardins et un pavillon d’été. De nombreux invités sont déjà revenus pour des visites répétées depuis que nous avons commencé à louer la propriété en 2011. Very nice stay, quite location, but within reach of all major locations. The property was very clean, well kept garden, and with a cosy sunroom. The hosts left us a lovely welcome pack, which was very kind of them. Would recommend this property.

This property was fantastic for myself my wife and our three dogs. The garden is large and secure, allowing us to let our dogs explore safely and enjoy the spring weather. The cottage is warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking to book again in the future as there is so much to do in Northumberland.

Our 3rd visit to this lovely, peaceful cottage with the most beautiful, secure garden for our dogs. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The bed is really comfortable with quality cotton bedding making it all the more comfortable. Great location in a peaceful, quiet village. The garden attracts all kinds of birds and such a lovely space to sit and just watch and listen to the wildlife. Idyllic!

Probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and equipped and the garden is delightful and seriously dog proofed. A lovely welcome pack and in a really good location for visiting the area. Nice village and stunning views. Faultless. Also incredibly well cleaned. We would def. stay again.

Our 2nd stay at this lovely cottage and it won’t be our last. We love the cottage, everything you need & more, it’s so comfortable & peaceful, I always sleep so well here, and the extra touches from the welcome pack which is waiting for you upon arrival are very welcoming, there’s even dog treats if you’re bringing your dog too. Glanton itself is such a lovely little village, it’s like stepping back in time, unspoilt. A great base to explore Northumbria.

Property was immaculate. The garden was a joy to be able to sit out and enjoy the scenery. To stargaze was wonderful and it was so peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, it was our best nights sleeps for a long while. We only had to contact the host having left our house keys in the property and she was most helpful in arranging their return. WE will undoubtedly return.

Our 2nd visit to Dogdaisy cottage. A lovely, clean, well equipped cottage with everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. The beautiful garden is perfect for sitting quietly watching the birds and perfectly safe for our dogs. We definitely want to return.

Wonderful Long Weekend in Dogdaisy Cottage

Overall we were very impressed with our stay at the cottage. Everything just perfect from the moment we stepped through the door:Cleanliness, furnishings, comfy bed & pillows all excellent.Northumberland is a wonderful county a d there’s lots to explore.

Spring break in Northumberland

Cottage was cosy and well appointed. Very well placed for visiting historic sites of Northumberland and the coast. We enjoyed beautiful sunny but very cold days. Would certainly recommend this cottage and its location.

We had a couple of holidays in Northumberland several years ago and decided we would love to be able to own a cottage. We felt so lucky when this property came on the market and knew it was just what we were looking for, despite the pouring rain when we viewed it. It's perfectly placed to visit all the lovely gardens,castles,coast and villages Northumberland has to offer, and yet is situated in the beautiful countryside in a small peaceful hamlet so it's the perfect place for a break away from everyday life.

This is a spacious 1 bedroom cottage which is tucked away, offering a real sense of peace and tranquility and has a lovely very private south facing garden which is a real sun trap in summer. Winter breaks allow for cosy nights in front of the fire after walks in the countryside or on the wonderful beaches.
