Fabulous 1 bed character barn conversion in a rural setting

Pheasant Barn is a beautiful Norfolk barn conversion which is full of character, centrally heated and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. This super property boasts a high standard bathroom, well equipped kitchen, sumptuous bedroom and vaulted ceilings throughout. Our photos and superb guest reviews speak for themselves! If you are looking for a tranquil base to explore Norfolk and Suffolk from then look no further.
This renovated 1 bedroom barn conversion affords traditional accommodation; exposed beams and Norfolk wood floors sit alongside modern appliances. However please note that given the historic limitations of our properties (former barns), we have chosen not to be part of the NAS (National Accessible Scheme) grading.
To the outside is a private garden comprising, lawned garden, Patio, BBQ and garden furniture from which to enjoy the rural views after a day exploring.
Our converted barns are situated in a quiet and rural setting perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Although rural, we are very well situated to be within striking distance of the many tourist attractions both Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer. Local villages offer some excellent pubs for those wanting to sample good food and real ales.
We welcome well behaved dogs (see our terms and conditions for details).
A 2KW Rolec 13A EV charger (3 pin type) is available by Pheasant Barn's dedicated parking space (payable locally by kwh used).

Hidden gem

A beautiful barn conversion in a rural setting. The owners have done an amazing job, a lot of thought has been given to providing comfortable and high quality holiday accommodation. Norwich, Broads and beaches easily accessible by car. Would thoroughly recommend a stay. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Comfortable cottage in rural area and generous host

The neighbouring cottage was semi-detached to ours. Which meant that we were very aware of the neighbouring guests talking late at night. Overall though, we very much enjoyed our stay and found the cottage extremely comfortable.

Thanks for leaving us a 5 star review, we're really pleased you enjoyed your stay in Pheasant Barn. We wish you had mentioned to us that you could hear people from our other barn, Partridge Barn, and we could have tried to resolve this for you. We had moved the outdoor table and chairs in the garden of Partridge Barn just prior to your stay and it seems this was too close to the bedroom of Pheasant Barn. The couple you could hear were sitting outside until late enjoying the good weather. We've moved the garden table and chairs back to their original location so hopefully this shouldn't be an issue going forward. Thanks for letting us know in this review so we could put 2 and 2 together and change back to our previous setup in Partridge Barn's Garden. It was a pleasure having you stay and hope to see you again sometime. .

Pheasant Barn

We were welcomed on our arrival by our hosts The cottage was amazing lovely and warm full of modern appliances for easy living And little treats and blanket for our dog We had an amazing 4 days the surrounding area is tranquil with people being neighbourly on our dog walks We ventured to the beaches visiting Caister and Cromer where you can walk for miles We would recommend this hideaway to anyone Best Vanessa & Ian

Pheasant barn is a well equipped holiday barn .Just off the beaten track perfect for a quiet week

Just as advertised well equipped clean well placed to travel to the Norfolk coast or the broads Liz and John were great helpful and made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. If you are looking for a central location to your Norfolk in a beautiful quiet location then look no further.

Great time had at Pheasant Barn

The property was clean and provided everything we needed for a base to explore Norfolk and Suffolk. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive and provided information about the area for birdwatching via their neighbour, greatly appreciated. There was a lovely welcome package of biscuits, milk and Prosecco waiting for us when we arrived that was lovely. A lovely property to stay in and I am sure we will return one day. Liz and John thank you for everything.

Spring break

Cosy, clean and well furnished accommodation, very welcoming hosts, quiet location, good outside space (weather permitting!) In the middle of farmland so lots of wildlife to be seen, plenty of marked footpaths joining local villages. Nearest shops a few miles away although fresh laid eggs and potatoes can be bought locally. Very enjoyable stay away from the hustle and bustle of normal living.

Excellent accommodation

We had a great time here. The cottage was warm and comfortable. It was very clean and modern. Hosts lovely and not intrusive. Excellent location to explore Norfolk and Suffolk. Highly recommended.

Tranquility defined

John and Liz make excellent hosts; a warm welcome, with advice and information readily divulged. The accommodation is well appointed and kept; we could not ask for more. This is the perfect location for peace and quiet with a good location for exploring further afield.

WINE MILK AND LOVELY COOKIES..VERY CLEAN LOVELY BEDROOM AND BATHROOM NICE AND QUIET IN THE EVENINGS,,, PLACES TO EAT IF WISH TO GO OUT ARE A LITTLE DRIVE AWAY PUBS ,OR TAKEAWAYS ,,, OR A LONGISH WALK, BUT SOME ROADS ARE A BIT NARROW AND NO LIGHTS SO BE AWARE. Cosy, relaxing cottage.

Well appointed and comfortable accommodation. In a very quiet but not remote country location. All the facilities you could wish for and Liz and John made us all feel welcome. On a clear night you can easily see the Milky Way overhead from the patio - wonderful! Highly recommended.

What a lovely place

As described on listing, or even enter in fact. Perfect for two people and a dog. All made very welcome. Owners nearby but not intrusive. Happy to chat to them when passing as you would a friendly neighbour. Lots of little extra touches in the barn.

A beautiful property with everything we could possibly need for our three night stay. Good location

Clean - very well equipped- gorgeous bathroom - comfy bed. Hosts were very welcoming we would definitely recommend a stay at Pheasant Barn. The area is ideal for touring Norfolk and Suffolk - we had a lovely holiday.

Feeling at home

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners are really nice persons. There's a lot of public footpaths where you can walk the dogs

Perfect Rural Retreat

Lovely short break!

The peaceful location ensured we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Pheasant Barn. Our two dogs loved it as well, especially the treats! Very handy having an enclosed garden and patio to chill out in too. The local village with various take away options wasn’t far either, also enjoyed a good meal at the bird in hand pub which was recommended to us by the owners. All in all, exactly what we wanted from our holiday!

Lovely small property barn conversion

This was just as advertised with a welcome of tea, biscuits wine and dog biscuits for our canine Beau. Location lovely and remote but easy access to the Broads. our hosts were lovely like the property.
