About Andrew and Kaitlin
My husband Andrew and I are proud to share our home with you. We enjoy hikes and camping. Waterfalls and biking. Beachcombing and kayaking. Photography, painting, and laughing are daily recurring events. Andrew loves bird-watching, and Kaitlin loves cooking. The salt water on our skin, the sun rays that warm you and give you a healthy glow, the refreshing cool down afterwards at the waterfall, the birds that sing, the fresh fruits, the goodies from the local organic market, the friendly locals, and the comfort of our home definitely makes us feel like we are in paradise. Every day we still learn new things from the locals. About plants, which ones are good for you, and which to look out for. Same with the fauna, we get excited whenever we find a new species of insect or animal in our neighborhood. Trying all the local fruits, the ‘Tico’ cuisine, their customs. Their language. The Pura Vida life! And then to share the newfound knowledge and excitement with our guests. Star gazing is another hobby of ours. And the beauty is, all we have to do is pull our chairs out to the lawn and look up. Paired with a glass of wine and a tiki torch makes for a relaxing evening. What makes us happy, is making people happy. We love exploring, and have many more destinations on our travel bucket list. Hikes to Macchu Pichu, The Appalachian Trail, and Santiago de Compostela are on top. But for now we indulge in Costa Rica. The Costa Ballena in particular. And we love it, and love to share it! To help our guests understand our beautiful area that we are in, we have created a booking and info service named Costa Concierge. On our site you’ll find all there is to do, see, and eat in the Costa Ballena. To really feel at home can make memories that stay with you for a long time. We hope you feel at home at our place! We do what we love... and we love what we do!
Andrew and Kaitlin purchased this Villa in 2015

We had an amazing stay in Costa Rica. The property & house are beautiful. Andrew was amazing and booked daily adventures for us. Horseback riding to a waterfall at Rancho La Merced in Uvita was beyond amazing! Zip lining & hiking to Nauyaca Waterfalls was difficult but worth the trek. All activities close to the property. The drive up the dirt road to property is fun - definitely need 4 x 4 to get to property! The morning views, the sunsets, the mariposas (butterflies), the birds on the property - all wonderful!
Hola Becky and family! Thank you again for your stay at Vistas Infinitas. And thank you for taking such great care of the home. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the property and the Costa Ballena area. It was our pleasure to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. It truly is a a magical place. Only wish you could have stayed longer! Come back and see us again soon. The Pura Vida life will be waiting for you :-)
Beautiful house, property & view!
We loved every minute of our time at Vistas Infinitas. We saw toucans & Araracari 3 out of the 4 days right in our yard! So exciting! We also saw an agouti in the side yard. The house was beautiful with great views out every window & had everything we would ever need. We really appreciated the washer & dryer. The beach towels were great so we didn't have to pack them. There was also a cooler & beach chairs/mats available. The drive up to the house was steep but definitely doable with 4 wheel drive. We felt safe at the home & loved the Dominical & Uvita area. We did an awesome full day snorkeling tour to Cano Island out of Uvita where we saw sea turtles, rays, sharks & many tropical fish! Loved it! It was only an hour drive to Manuel Antonio which was great to visit also where we saw sloths & monkeys. The pool at the house was a perfect way to spend the afternoon cooling off & relaxing! Kaitlyn & Andrew were wonderful with any questions before & during our stay! We hope to be back someday!! Pura Vida!
Hola Wendy! Thank you again for your stay. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Vistas Infinitas and the Costa Ballena area. It really is a special place, and it was our pleasure to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Only wish you could have stayed longer. But you can always come back :-) The beautiful ocean views, toucans, aracari's, and agouti's will be waiting for you! Until next time.... Pura Vida!
Beautiful private property with everything you could need!
This is a beautiful home! The owners have thought of everything! The views, pool, outdoor shower, fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, and many little extras in case you forget something. Every evening we would come back looking forward to spending time here. The drive up is steep and unpaved but wider and definitely better than many roads we were on in CR. We saw toucans, lizards, frogs and some other cool sounding birds. Just a delight all around! We stayed 3 nights and then moved to another area of CR but there was enough to do in the area that I regret not just staying here the whole time!
Thank you so much for your stay Taunya! I was wonderful to meet you and your family. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed Vistas Infinitas. It truly is a special place, and it was our pleasure to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Only wish you could have stayed longer. But you can always come back :-) The Toucans, lizards, and frogs will be waiting for you. Until next time....Pura Vida!
We've been to this area 6 times now and I can tell you that this is a perfect place to stay! The view is absolutely perfect for ocean sunsets. While we were there (Christmas) the sun set directly in the center of our ocean view, And the jungle views are also quite breathtaking. The house itself is the right size and we really liked the layout. It's got privacy without being to far off the beaten path. To get views like this often takes a much more brutal drive to get there. They will say you need 4-wheel drive but we didn't use it once. Perhaps the rainy season is different. Andrew and Kaitlin were there to greet us and show us around and were pleased to help at any time. Including set up some events for us. I highly recommend staying at this home!!
Thank you again for your stay Kyle. It was great meeting you and your family! Very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at Vistas Infinitas. We agree, the sunsets are spectacular! :-). It was our pleasure to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. And thank you for taking such great care of the home. Please do come back and see us again. Until next time....Pura Vida!
Already Planning Our Trip Back
My azúcar and I stayed here for a week, and we couldn't have been happier. The view alone is worth the price of admission; however, the little casita, the town of Dominical and all of its locals, and the hosts, Andrew and his wife Kaitlin, are what really made our stay special!
The view from the house and pool are BREATHTAKING, and the house had everything we needed for the week, including a grill and all of the beach necessities (chairs, beach towels, cooler, etc.). The patio/pool area is the perfect spot to have your morning coffee and unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine and catch the sunset surrounded by toucans and rainforest wildlife.
Make sure you write down all of Andrew’s suggestions about Domincal and the surrounding towns. We went to (or at least tried) all of the activities, beaches, and restaurants he suggested and were not disappointed! Dominical is not going to be your typical touristy town – it’s a lovely little surf town with amazing people. And with both Manuel Antonio and Uvita nearby, it's the perfect spot in the South Pacific. So much so, we’re already planning our trip back.
We wouldn't pass on this place if you get the opportunity. PURA VIDA!
Beautiful, comfortable home with private pool and spectacular view.
Beautifully located mountain home surrounded by lush tropical fauna and flora. The property offers a spectacular panoramic ocean view, including magnificent and awe-inspiring sunsets.
Thank you so much for your stay Andrew! It was a pleasure meeting you and Marilyn. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Vistas Infinitas. It truly is a special place. We only wish you could have stayed longer. Come back and see us again soon. The panoramic ocean views, and magnificent sunsets will be waiting for you! Until next time.... Pura Vida! :-)
