Stunning home steps from city center

We had the most beautiful stay with our two daughters. They absolutely loved the pool and beautiful bedrooms. This property is like having every comfort of home while on vacation; it allowed us to relax and enjoy the city in a very special and unique way. Chantal was a wonderful host, meeting us at check-in and check-out. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Bruges, we will absolutely be staying here!

One of the best places I have ever stayed

An oasis of tranquillity just seconds from the centre of a beautiful and vibrant city. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. There is parking garage which was easily big enough to park our van which was a huge bonus. The swimming pool is perfect place to relax after a busy day. 5 star hotel standards with all the benefits of luxury self catering. We would love to stay again.

Couldn't Ask for a Better Villa

Everything about this villa was perfect! From the moment we walked in, we felt the calming and warm vibe with the music throughout the house. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you could need. Beds and linens were soft and very cozy for a good night's rest. The use of the sauna and pool was very easy and Chantal was always available if we had any questions. The check in/check out process was effortless and smooth. The location of the house is perfect for a short walk to the square for food, drinks or shopping. And although it was very close to the square, the area around the villa was quiet. We have already told our friends and family to stay here if they visit Brugge and we will be back ourselves with more of our family. Don't think twice about this villa...it's worth it!!

Outstanding property

The house was so lovely we didn’t want to leave. It was hard to believe that we were just steps away from the center of town. Restaurants were literally around the corner. The innkeeper was a delight. So helpful. Everything you could need was supplied. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone that appreciates location, quiet and luxury living.

Lovely large house in the centre of Bruges.

We were met by Chantal who very helpfully showed us how everything works. She left lots of maps and guide books. The house is lovely and has been refurbished to a very high standard. All bedrooms are en suite. The pool and sauna are a fantastic asset for a city house. This is the nicest city house we have stayed in and is minutes from the main tourist areas. All in all a fantastic house to live in when visiting Bruges.

One of a kind experience in Bruges

You won’t find another home like this in Bruges. Nothing comes close. You are a few hundred steps from the center of town where all the action is, but when you return to this lovely house, you return to luxurious living, privacy, plenty of space and great comfort. Our family could not have been happier and we’re looking forward to going back.

Amazing Property in an Amazing Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Chantal is an absolute delight to work with. The home is immaculate and so well appointed with all the comforts of home and then some. Outstanding property with perfect location

Calyx House is beautiful and one of the most comfortable homes we have stayed in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all nice sized and perfect for 3 couples traveling together. The master bedroom/bath has a nice terrace to enjoy the view of the belfry and lovely garden. We've been renting homes in Bruges since 2009 and Calyx has the best location and most amenities that we've found including parking and an indoor pool along with a huge garden to enjoy. Chantal the owner is easily accessible by email and answered my many questions. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Stunning House in wonderful location

Visited this stunning property with friends for long weekend. Location could not be better only being 2 mins from Market Square and yet is so peaceful. Large garden & pool only added to the experience. The house has all facilities you could need and then some.

STUNNING HOUSE

Just got back home after a brilliant break in Bruges. A wonderful city and the house was simply stunning. It looked perfect from the pictures but when we actually arrived I couldn't believe just how good it was. Located literally a minute walk from Market Square it could not have been in a better location. Chantal was SO easy to deal with throughout the whole booking process. She greeted us at the property and was really helpful in showing us around the house and even suggesting places to eat and drink. The addition of the heated pool and sauna was incredible and made the stay even more relaxing. There is a great sound system hooked up throughout the house which you can just plug your phone into. The house slept seven of us comfortably and each room included it's own en suite bathroom and rain shower. This was the perfect stay and the nicest house I've stayed in since using Owners Direct, we're already looking for an excuse to come back next year. Thank you Chantal!

Stunning Property, Perfect Location

We recently came back from a stay at Chantal's gorgeous home. I wish I could give the property (and Chantal) six stars. It exceeded my expectations. The property was immaculate and decorated beautifully. Wonderful pool and backyard space which we used extensively. The house was right in the center of Bruges and had a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I doubt there is a better property in Bruges. Highly recommended.

Stunning house in perfect location

Feel bad it has taken me a year to write this but had the most amazing stay at Calyx House with my husband, 2 kids and my parents. We all loved the house. The kids enjoyed the pool and garden and the location made it perfect for a city break with children as only a few mind walk to the main square. Chantal was delightful.. a perfect host.. gave us city guides, available at all times to answer any questions and the house had everything you needed and more. Probably the most organised kitchen we've ever seen in a holiday property! Couldn't recommend it enough! A year on and I still want to go back ☺

Lovely house in the heart of Bruges

Our family had a great stay here at the end of July 2015 - a very luxurious house, the kids loved the pool, TVs and sound system, all the facilities are all excellent. Just a minute's walk from the main square, you couldn't be any closer to the town centre. Chantal greeted as and was very helpful. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Wonderful house, great location, beautiful city.

It's easy to see why all reviews give 5 stars. Indeed it should have 6 stars! This superbly located property allows you to walk within Bruges without needing your car which is safely in the garage. The garden is a delight, with direct views of the Belfry so you hear the lovely carillon. With a pool and sauna, modern sound system, wifi, and modern fun sculptures, large TV in the room, the property has everything you could want and more. The owners gave us a warm welcome and provided guide books and maps. Bruges is a splendid city with so much to see and do. Restaurants are very good - try Park, au Petit Grand and the beer experts Cambrinus, all within a few minutes stroll of the house. Take the boat trip around the canals, earlier in the morning when it's quieter and don't the Belfry, Basilica and Beguine nunnery and so much more. You will need plenty of memory cards for your camera. We arranged a full day First World War battlefields and memorials tour which was excellent and moving, more so since we could locate the memorial to a relative. The property and Bruges make a wonderful combination. Highly recommended.

Escribo mi comentario en español para los turistas de habla hispana (below in english) La ubicacion de la casa es privilegiado. Esta a dos cuadras de la plaza principal por una callecita muy tranquila y pintoresca. Las instalaciones de la casa son fabulosas, desde el amoblamiento hasta la vajilla y artefactos electrodomesticos. Muy completa. Limpieza 100% La piscina es el oasis en tremenda ciudad. Imposible de imaginar! La Sra. Chantal (duena de la propiedad) es un encanto de persona, al recibirnos no solo nos ha dado intrucciones del funcionamiento general de la casa, como asi tambien datos turisticos y tips, como por ejemplo donde estan los supermercados. Y la sorpresa fue mayor cuando vimos que en la heladera nos habia dejado chocolates y gaseosas. Excelente detalle! En las habitaciones (todas con su baño privado) las instalaciones tambien fueron impecables. Todos los cuartos con calefaccion, black out, las camas organizadas a nuestra conveniencia (dos twin o queen) y los baños modernos y funcionales. Recomiendo 100% esta propiedad para familias y grupos de amigos (como nuestro caso) Ciudad ideal para recorrer en bicicleta, por eso si llegan en auto, pueden dejarlo en la casa y recorrer la ciudad en bici e incluso caminando. ======================= The locations privileged. Is two blocks from the main square for a quiet and picturesque street. The house facilities are fabulous, from the furniture to dishes and home appliances. Very complete. Cleaning 100% The pool is the oasis in a magnific city. Impossible to imagine! Mrs. Chantal (the owner) is a charming person, she given us instructions from the general run of the house, as well as tourist information and tips such as where are the nearest supermarkets. And the biggest surprise was when we saw that in the fridge she had left chocolates and soda. Excellent detail! In the bedrooms (all with private bath) facilities were also immaculate. All rooms with heating, blackout curtains, beds organized at our convenience (two twin or queen) and modern and functional bathrooms. 100% recommend this property for families and groups of friends (as in our case) Brugge is Ideal for cycling, so if you arrive by car, you can leave it at home and visit the city by bike or even walking.

Ferien wie im Paradies

Falls sie eine Ruheoase in Brügge suchen, dass sind sie hier absolut richtig. Das Haus sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern, ist also sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. die Zimmer sind grosszügig und alle mit eigenem Bad, die Bette sehr bequem. Pool und Innengarten erlauben es sich mitten in der Stadt zurückzuziehen. Obwohl das Haus sehr zentral gelegen ist, ist die Lage sehr ruhig und wir konnten problemlos mit offenen Fenster schlafen. Wenige Schritte vor der Haustür ist der Marktplatz und in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es viele nette Restaurants, ein brasilianisches Café und eine Bäckerei. Was will man mehr? Von Brügge aus ist man rasch in Antwerpen, an der Küste oder auch in Brüssel, alles eine Reise wert.
