Totalmente renovado asiático villa art deco con las características originales. Elegante, encantador, cómodo. Desayuno con vistas al Océano Índico. Nuestros talentosos cocineros Pushpa y Yasiru también pueden preparar el almuerzo y / o la cena, si lo desea. No hay problema en absoluto: sólo tiene que dar un poco de dinero para que el personal puede ir a la tienda y después te dan recibos y su cambio. Hamacas caoba cómodos. Sistema de sonido para Ipod, Iphone y un ordenador portátil. Wifi. Televisión. Hamacas en el jardín, para una completa relajación. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Golden. We were 2 adults, 3 children so had plenty of space! Susantha & his team were the best hosts. We had a delicious breakfast every morning of fruit, yogurt, smoothies, eggs, omelettes, waffles & hoppers. We also had 2 meals in the villa cooked by the house girls which were delicious, would highly recommend. The garden area is beautiful, right onto the beach. It’s a great location, only a 15 minute tuk tuk into Galle. The restaurants along the beach by the villa are well worth trying out. We highly recommend this villa to anyone staying in this part of Sri Lanka! Thank you for a great stay!

Loved this and I will be returning to be with the locals and have continued healing. I loved that they asked what I want to do and ensured that I was safe with transportation. I loved that they will cook traditional Sri Lankan food.

Paradise, perfect location

We had a wonderful time at this spacious house with a good pool, direct on the quiet beach and with a super lovely personal team. We also enjoyed the very tasty breakfast and dinner from the 3 gorgeous ladies in the kitchen. If you wish they cook everyday for you. Also the house keeping was perfect. We love to come again.

Stunning Private Villa Right on the Beach

We loved everything about this house and the marvelous staff. The house is set in a stunning garden with a spotless pool right on the beach at Gintota. The hpuae is beautifully appointed with 4 lovely bedrooms, a lounge, dining room and tv room. The staff were excerional and catered to all our needs. The food they prepared is the best I have eaten in 5 trips to Sri Lanka. We cannot wait to return. Thank you Bart for the use of the house and the service we received from your spectacular people

Fantastic experience

We stayed as a family in Villa Golden for 12 nights. The house is perfect, on the beach with a private pool. The staff, house manager, chefs and night watchmen were superb. We asked them each day what to prepare for our meals and they were always restaurant quality. The staff will arrange anything for you, including excursions, taxis etc. Anything you need they will arrange for it to be delivered to the house. Would highly recommend this property.

Amazing vacation

We had a wonderful time at the villa. The staff made all our wishes come true and helped us organizing trips. Pushpa made excellent dinners we all enjoyed. The villa itself offered all we needed to enjoy our vacation => nice pool, short way to the beach with waves to enjoy, good working AC (very important) and we loved the big showers. We can absolutely recommend the villa for a relaxed, pampered holiday. Thanks to the staff for taking care of us and Bart for letting us stay in his villa. Amazing Holiday

Wow.... we were blown away when we first arrived at the Villa even though we arrived during a big storm! We stayed over Christmas and New Year with my parents and my teenage boys and we all had a wonderful time. Susantha, Yasiru, Hindy and Bandullah were all fantastic and really helped to make our holiday truly magical. The villa is beautiful and we all had plenty of space to not get on top of each other. The kids enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool and relaxing by the beach on the sun loungers. The food Yasiru and Hindy prepared each day was amazing, fresh and clean everyone enjoyed it. We will definitely be back

Owner was really helpful and assisted us with organising transport and safari before our arrival to the house.Thanks so much for that! Susantha on site manager was really nice and also helpful. The staff (two lovely ladies)cooked us 2 dinners (which we loved) and prepped a nice breakfasts, although a bigger variety of breakfast choices wasn't communicated to us until the day of our departure. The WiFi wasn't accessible in all parts of the house. The property was big, with direct access to the beach although the beach requires serious cleaning. The house offered security at night included in the price. We were not aware that the staff will be present in the house through out, therefore we didn't feel fully comfortable. We wanted to escape a hotel type arrangement, but didn't know the house will be occupied by others along with us. Perhaps this is an oversight on our part. Overall a lovely place with nice swimming pool right on the edge of the beach. We would recommend to anyone looking for this type of accommodation.

They truly enjoy looking after our guests and preparing fresh meals, so it is great to hear you appreciated the dinners and breakfasts. To clarify for future guests: Villa Golden is always rented out as a fully private villa – you never share the house or pool with other guests. However, it is also a staffed villa, meaning our cooks, housekeeper and night guard are present daily to prepare meals, clean rooms, maintain the property and ensure safety. This is a typical style of Sri Lankan villa hospitality, designed to allow guests to fully relax. Of course, we always respect privacy and the staff are happy to be discreet when preferred. Regarding breakfast variety, thank you for the feedback – we will ensure the full list of Sri Lankan and Western options is clearly explained at the start of each stay. Wi-Fi works well inside the villa, though the signal does not extend far into the garden and beach due to the size of the property. As for the beach, currents can bring natural debris during some months. We clean daily in front of the villa and will remind neighbouring properties to maintain their section too. Thank you again for your recommendation – we are glad you enjoyed your stay and would be happy to welcome you back.

A wonderful Sri-Lankan getaway - Amazing accommodation

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Golden, stayed the whole of in February 2025, hence returning next year (2026). Susantha (House Manager) is a credit to the business, welcoming, professional, very helpful and great with the arrangement of tours and travelling. The staff team were very friendly making us always feel at home. Their attention to detail was very good, attentive but not intrusive. The breakfast and all meals cooked for us were very good and we very much enjoyed the cookery session. Very good standard of cleanliness with the bedrooms being very comfortable. The large pool, access to the beach, the hammocks and the swing seat were all great and made for a great stay. The house, the location and the people of Sri-Lanka made our Sri-Lanka stay feel like home. Would very much recommend this accommodation to friends and family. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Great Pool Villa at the beach

This was the best stay during our visit of sri lanka. We stayed there with our bigger kids and another family. The house has four rooms with AC. One with four beds which was perfect for the kids. The house and the Garden has several cosy places to stay and relax and have some space. My favorite place were the sunbeds overviwing the beach. The villa golden staff is just perfect. They are the greatest cooks and we got every day some new sri lankan specialities. They cared so much about us. We loved it. We also liked to go down the beach to the bar and enjoyed a sundowner. We would really love to come back one day.

Our trip to Sri-Lanka

The property was all it is described as in the details. It was tastefully furnished, the bedrooms were lovely, the living areas spacious and the garden beautiful. The property is literally steps from a long, wide, sandy stretch of beach. You could not get any closer. There are plenty of corners to the garden too to provide privacy and shade. The staff who worked at the villa were very sweet, helpful and generous. The provided the most incredible breakfast every morning which was included in the price of the villa - a lovely surprise. I have never seen so much delicious food at breakfast time. It just kept on coming and was full of traditional tastes and surprises. They also prepared a delicious meal one of the evenings which was not included but neither did we expect it to be. The people of the country are kind, generous, warm and good hearted and apart from the beauty of the landscape (we explored quite a bit of the country), the incredible food, it was the people themselves that made the experience. Bart was extremely good at replying promptly to our questions and queries during the booking process and was very helpful throughout the many years of having to postpone our trip because of global issues. Thank you to all for a memorable and extremely interesting experience. I wish Sri-Lanka all the very best for their future as it has been more than hard for them these past years.

It was such a lovely experience staying at the Villa. Bart was very prompt with his communication prior to us arriving which was very helpful. Susantha and his staff at the villa did an amazing job in looking after us and all our needs. Would visit and stay there again in a heartbeat.

More than just a holiday

This was the second stay at Villa Golden for several of us and, if anything, it was better than our last visit. The villa is in a perfect setting, you step directly from the garden onto the beach, where you can barefoot to a restaurant or sit and watch the fisherman (or even lend a hand hauling in the day's catch). The villa staff are wonderful; warm, funny and helpful in equal measures and the meals are scrumptious. There are lots of adventures to go on but we will miss our short tuk tuk rides in convoy to Galle Fort for a spot of shopping and yet more food. Bliss!

Lovely days in Villa Golden

We had a great stay in Villa Golden; a lovely house right on the beach with chilled beach bars to serve you cold drinks and fresh seafood dishes. The villa has a beautiful garden as well as helpful and sweet staff. Situated just a short tuk-tuk trip from beautiful Galle. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place to stay

This was our second stay at Villa Golden. What can I say that hasn’t already been said in other reviews. It’s wonderful. The villa is very comfortable. The gardens are lovely. The pool is a great size. The location is right on the beach. Small bars and restaurants are a few mins walk away. We recommend Happy Hour at Sadun and Bara Beach Home. Galle is a ten minute Tuk Tuk ride away. Uber is also available if you prefer a little more comfort. We ate at the Church Street Social in Fort Bazar Hotel- it’s classy and gorgeous. Arabella is next door but one and offers amazing food and service. The real stars of the show are the wonderful Staff at Villa Golden. You could not wish for more friendly, helpful and welcoming people. Your every whim will be catered for with a smile. Susantha, Pushpa, Yasiru and Milani are great hosts. The food they prepare is delicious and the best we’ve eaten during our stay. Pushpa’s Sri Lankan omelettes for breakfast are a great way to start the day. The curries are amazing. The owner Bart is very helpful. Booking was easy. Messages are responded to very quickly. The only bad thing about Villa Golden is that at some point you will have to leave .....

Holiday in paradise

We enjoyed our stay at the wonderful Villa Golden near Galle very much. It has a beautiful pool and a big garden that is well kept. The sea is just in front of the house and it is big fun to swim in the waves. The stuff of the house is very friendly and took care of all of wishes. We highly recommend the Villa Golden.

My name is Bart. I am Belgian and live in Brussels. I first visited Sri Lanka in 1986, and immediately fell in love with this beautiful, magical country and its inhabitants. Since then I travelled to quite a lot of other exotic countries, and I know now: Sri Lanka is the best, in every possible way! Years ago I managed to buy a beach villa near Galle and had it renovated. It's a real gem! I go there 3 times a year and I just LOVE to be there. And the staff have almost become like family. They are so devoted. I hope you will enjoy and love Villa Golden as much as I do. But I'm quite sure you will.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Villa Golden is Asian art deco, and has lots of charm. The garden is very large, and it ends right at the beach which is so peaceful. Almost no tourists. It's so private and calm. But on the other hand: in a few minutes you are in Galle, with it's world famous Dutch Fort. And - in opposite direction - in fifteen minutes you are in busy Hikkaduwa with its fabulous reefs. The place to be if you like surfing, snorkeling or diving. Villa Golden offers you everything to have the best holiday!
