Mill Cottage är en rymlig stuga på landet möblerad till en hög standard. Erbjuder generöst tilltagna sovrum och ett solrum och uteplats med utsikt över en vacker trädgård perfekt för avkoppling och grillning. Det finns ett antal vackra promenader direkt från dörren, en känd downhill cykel spår (Hopton Castle) 10 minuter cykel bort och möjligheter till fiske, ridning och cykling.

Excellent space for a short break

We really enjoyed our stay. Spacious property with very comfortable beds and quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Enjoyed walks around the property. Would definitely stay again.

The property was a great find. Without directions from the host we would not have found the place. It was extremely hot when we arrived and a fan would have helped especially in the top bedroom. The plumbing needs some maintenance in particular the toilet in the top bathroom. It was a wonderful location and we really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Having meals by the lake was a great time..

Great weekend break

This is a lovely property, better than we expected. The size of the lounge and kitchen helped as there were four adults so plenty of space to spread out. The grounds and garden were perfect for the dog. Location is good, close to Ludlow and Shrewsbury.

Shropshire at it's best

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Dog friendly and about 20 minutes drive into Ludlow. Handy for the Shropshire hills and the lovely south Shropshire towns

Weekend getaway

What a gem of a property in a fantastic peaceful location. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but really didn’t want to leave. The grounds are absolutely amazing. The house itself is lovely with everything you need for your time away. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Fabulous property

A fabulous property where we hid from the worst of Storm Bert during a hiking weekend. Listing doesn't do justice to the property which exceeded all our expectations - beautiful, comfortable, very well equipped and will definitely stay again :)

Excellent

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. One of the family uses a wheelchair and walker but the property accommodated for this well. Great kitchen with all the facilities we needed. We will definitely be back.

The pictures do not do this property justice at all!! It is such a lovely cottage and so spacious. My party of 6 often got a little lost in the space. The garden is beautiful and the surrounding nature is so peaceful.We really enjoyed our stay and it offered more than we expected.

Beautiful and relaxing stay

Pictures do not do this properly justice! It was beautiful inside and out. Spotlessly clean and had everything needed from a stocked kitchen full of utensils and cookware. Lounge with log burner with ample supply of wood. Beautiful surroundings. check in was hassle free. Will book again.

Weekend break

The cottage is stunning. The space in the cottage is fantastic and the grounds and access to the countryside are amazing. We've had a fabulous short stay and would definitely return. Tim responded to any queries promptly and made us feel very welcome. Thanks Tim.

As others have stated, the photos do not do this house and grounds justice. It is a beautiful place, one which we shall return to, in order to enjoy the tranquility and space that the place offers. The lounge, kitchen and gardens were particularly comfortable and stunning. It's not too far into Ludlow, which is a characterful town. We did report a rather smelly oil-fired boiler to the host, and he said he would rectify this in the future, though a quick visit might have been more appropriate.

They bought Mill Cottage four years ago and have enjoyed the challenge of restoring the cottage and its grounds. As a family we enjoy a number of outdoor pursuits all of which are readily available locally.
