Centrally Located Between Bryce and Zion National Parks
Roger and Connie love this sweet house and named it "Pinkie's Place" after his mother. She was nicknamed Pinkie by his father and signed all of her love letters to him "Pinkie." Pinkie fell in love with Stub when she was 5 years old. Roger was raised in this home and has always stayed in this area. He learned to be a mechanic from his father and runs the Sinclair Service Station a few miles south in Orderville. Connie is an artist and loves quilt making and now teaches art at the high school. Connie and Roger love the area and feel blessed to live here and have spent many hours out in the backcountry. They never get tired of seeing the beautiful scenery in the place they live.
Connie purchased this House in 2015
Why Connie chose Glendale
Pinkie's Place is centrally located between so many beautiful National Parks, State Parks, recreational areas and National Forests. Glendale is a quiet little farming community where the people are as nice as they can be and the skies are blue almost every day.

Zion and Bryce Canyon family retreat.
This property worked out perfectly for us. it is situated midway between Zion national park in Bryce Canyon. Connie was great to work with and very responsive. The property is exactly what is shown on Vrbo. No surprises! thanks so much.

Adorable house between National Parks
Cute, clean house with everything we needed between hikes. The beds are super comfortable and the owner is extremely nice! We loved the house and the location between Zion Natl Park and Bryce Canyon Natl Park. Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed meeting you and your family.
Hope to see you again.
This cottage is the perfect get away place for a family of 6 to 10 people. It's convenient location allows you to visit several parks within fair distance. It is well maintained and taken care off. Connie and Roger (owners) are very good at paying attention to details to make guests feel comfortable. They are extremely kind and professional. We loved this place so much that we are already thinking on coming back next year. We will definetly recommend it to family and friends.
Thank you Connie and Roger for your hospitality!
Thank you for your very nice review. We loved meeting you and your family and would love to host your family again.
The house was perfect for our trip. The house has so much personality and beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. We traveled with 3 children and they are slept perfectly at night and felt at home the whole time. The house is a bit older, so we worried a bit about air circulation. Connie has an additional AC unit in the upstairs bedroom which cooled the upstairs quickly, when needed. No issues during our stay, aside from the kids not wanting to leave. Connie is a great host and left us goodies in the fridg when we arrived and even provided s'mores on our last evening. I highly recommend this home.
Thank you so much for the nice review. It really is important to us that you enjoy your stay at our house. We love when families visit. Life seems so busy sometimes and we love to see kids having fun and making memories.
Hidden gem on the way to Bryce Canyon
Charming little cottage equipped with all conveniences! Clean and stylish.
( I would hide the mess in the garages though as it ruins the overall impression.)
I'm glad that you enjoyed our sweet cottage. It is so important to us that you have a nice time while you are here.
You are right, and we are working on clearing out our old garages. So many things left over from Grandpa, who kept just about everything. He came from the generation who saved, recycled and repurposed everything even before that was popular. Hopefully when you visit again we will have finished that project.
This lovely home rests just 4 miles from the town of Orderville, where you can grab lunch at the Soup Town sandwich shop or stock up on groceries for your home-cooked meals. If you're interested in checking out historic move set artifacts, take a day trip up to Kanab to visit the famous museum town.
Nestled between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, you'll have easy access to hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor recreation throughout your stay. The Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Escalante-Grand Staircase are all within an hour drive from the home.
If you're looking for some waterfront activity, head just under 2 hours to spend the day exploring Lake Powell along the Arizona border. Antelope Canyon and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are also a little under 2 hours south and must-see sites during your stay!
