Rural comfortable Studio for two, wonderful locality to explore and enjoy.
About John Henderson
I have lived in this beautiful area for over forty years. I was Resident Agent on the Croome Estate which has the National Trust Capability Brown Landscaped Park and Court of Croome at its centre.
John Henderson purchased this Cottage in 1989
Why John Henderson chose Worcester
My late wife and I purchased and converted our barn and the adjoining byre, as we had already lived in the area for 19 years. The tranquil surroundings and magnificent views across the River Severn to the Malverns are a delight and all this within easy reach of the M.5 and M.50 giving scope to see the Midlands, Cotswolds and rural Herefordshire.
What makes this Cottage unique
The delightful countryside with its long distance walks, the nearby River Severn, Jazz and regatta week-ends at Upton upon Severn, music festivals (Three Choirs in Worcester), literary, music and science in Cheltenham and national garden and agricultural shows at the Royal Three Counties Show Ground, Malvern. There are important tourist attractions in Worcester (8 miles), Tewkesbury ( 5 miles) and Malvern 10 miles) and Pershore (6 miles) is the home of the Royal Horticultural Society, based at the Horicultural College. The property is also on the threshold of the Cotswolds.

Very peaceful country location
The property is a great place to stay for exploring Worcestershire and The Malvern Hills. John is the perfect host explaining everything you need to know. Fabulous location.
Lovely location , very quiet and not far from the Malvern Hills and some great villages. Very comfy bed!
Fantastic place to stay, cosy accommodation & wonderful gardens. The host was extremely friendly & helpful. Our dogs were in ecstasy having the freedom to run around! I would highly recommend to all dog owners as a perfect getaway!
A perfect base for exploring
The owner is very friendly and helpful, the property has everything you could need for a base to explore the surrounding countryside. The bed is huge and comfortable and it is so peaceful. All in all a lovely week.
Perfect location for a break
Great location. Private and peaceful. Owner made sure everything was ok and made us feel very welcome.
This property was absolutely ideal for what we wanted - a week-end in glorious countryside with walks locally and from the door. The studio is wonderfully quiet - the only sounds at night were the owls. John was a very kind and helpful host: allowing us to roam his beautiful garden with our dogs. Despite there being excellent dog friendly pubs within walking distance we ate in both nights to enjoy the tranquility of the property. Reading the visitor book most previous guests had successfully used the Studio as a base for exploring the area, but we just enjoyed the immediate locality. Would definitely recommend.
