Beautifully converted former Dairy situated in the delightful rural countryside

The Dairy Cottage is in the delightful rural countryside on the edge of the old picturesque village of Endon. The beautifully converted former Dairy sleeps 4 people and offers everything you need for a truly relaxing break, situated just 1.7 miles from Endon village and within easy reach of The Ashes Wedding Venue. The good sized accommodation with WiFi offers character with exposed beams, a well equipped kitchen, dining and living area. There are two bedrooms one double with en-suite and a twin room next to the main bathroom. To appreciate the fantastic views from this Cottage the living accommodation is on the first floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Outside there is a garden area with a BBQ where you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Parking is at the front of the cottage and outside shelter available for bikes.

We are on the edge of one of the UK's national treasures, the Peak District with perfect walks and historical towns. There is plenty do and the cottage provides an ideal base for exploring many local attractions including Rudyard Lake, Churnet Valley with its Steam Railway and network of canals, and the popular Alton Towers.

Cosy wee cottage.

Overall stay at the property was great . Absolutely loved the cottage very clean , homely and cosy .also loved the area .also communication with clare the host was great would definitely recommend going there for a wee break and would go back.

Absolutely beautiful. I didn't want to leave. The cottage is just so amazing, and the views are fabulous. It was so pretty, I just cant describe how i felt when i first arrived it, it was almost magical. The kitchen was massive with everything you could want. The dining and living rooms were beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were perfect too. Just lovely.

Perfect Country House

Our second stay at Clare's brilliant property used as a base as we visit with family in the area. From the moment we stepped into the house, it feels like home! Clean, well equipped and comfortable for our family of four we can't wait to get back next year (if not before!).Thanks to some fantastic weather, we were able to get out for some lovely evening walks this time and take in the stunning countryside - it's just the perfect Country escape!

Cosy cottage

So peaceful all around, cows out the kitchen window and horses out of living room window, our little girl loved this! So clean, bed sheets smelt lovely and beds were comfortable. Property has 2 bathrooms which was great for us! Beautiful views, the property is even better than the listing, we were so happy when we arrived! Living room very cosy with fairy lights, cottage was lovely and warm and having a washing machine was brilliant too! We stayed here to go to Alton towers, which is about 30 minutes away. Sainsbury’s and Aldi nearby and a nice chippy 10 minutes down the road. We would stay here again!

Total Gem!

This was our 3rd stay at the Dairy Cottage which never fails to impress! We always stay for New Year's providing a lovely escape from the City, with it's cosy rustic interior and lovely walks on the doorstep. The Cottage is very well equipped, a proper home from home. Clare and her family are so welcoming and accommodating, cannot speak highly enough of them Looking forward to the 4th visit!

Superb, clean, welcoming home. Loved the conversions. The only drawback is anyone in bed and anyone upstairs can easily disturb others in bed downstairs, but in order to keep the charm of this place i couldn't see a better way to layout the rooms. Still loved this place.

Dairy farm guest house

This was a beautiful property. Very clean and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking around the area. Loved the cows right outside the window. All in all a very lovely place to stay.

Cosy Cottage

The property was a beautifully converted milking parlour, with lots of decor reflecting its previous incarnation. Surrounded by gorgeous countryside with a lovely view from the sitting room. The furnishings were comfortable and kitchen well equipped, though could do with more mugs and glasses.

Great place with real character

My young family (and our dog) loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It was really spacious for a family of four (+dog), yet also full of character. The enclosed outside space was huge, and our Hungarian Vizsla dog loved running around the garden and horse paddock. It's a great spot from which to explore too - we went on lots of lovely countryside walks from our doorstep. We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing stay!

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful dairy property. It was such a wonderful break in the English countryside, the area was stunning and we loved exploring it. The host, Clare, was extremely friendly and helpful, she made us feel right at home and helped us with what we needed. Check in was very simple, the property was very clean, and everything was as promised in the property profile. I came with 15 and 17 year old teens for a tour of Europe and this was their favourite stop. We were visiting friends in the area and I didn’t even want to leave it to go and visit ;). Thank you so much, Clare. We highly recommend this property and hope we can come back!!

Character Cottage

I had a long weekend stay visiting family in the area. The Dairy was a delightful base to stay - deep in the countryside as part of a group of farm properties with cattle and horses in the nearby fields. Being fairly high up there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and it is very quiet and peaceful. The Dairy had everything I needed of a good standard. Clare was very helpful and responded quickly to all communications. I really enjoyed my stay at the Dairy and recommend it for a solo or small group stay.

This hcottage is absolutely beautiful. It is likehome for home. Everything u need is there. The place is very clean and spacious. Beautiful views. Our dog loved the garden area. Lovely property, gorgeous scenery!

My husband, 2 kids, and I stayed here during our Staffordshire leg of our UK trip. The countryside is stunning! The views from the cottage are awesome. My 8 year-old loved all the animals. The cottage was clean and well-decorated. The host is welcoming and communicative. I would be happy to stay here again!

Excellent stay!

This is a fantastic property, we thought slightly undersold in the listing if anything! The view from the lounge window was stunning, and the quality of the finishes overall was really good and made for a comfortable stay. We hadn't seen that there was an ensuite bathroom so that was a bonus. Little touches like the fairy lights, great kitchen equipment and washing machine were great. The fit of the skirting boards against the dishwasher meant this couldn't properly be opened, so we didn't use it - but this didn't detract from our stay.

Hard to beat

Beautiful cottage with an amazing view from living room window. Right out in the sticks and perfect for walkers. We were visiting old family haunts in Endon and Stanley Moss so location was perfect.

Perfect property for us and our doggies

This was our 2nd stay here, its a lovely cottage spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The secure outside area for our doggies is ideal.We will definitely return for another visit.

Escape to the Country!

The Cottage was the perfect base for us as we visited family in the area for a week. The house was clean, comfortable and as well appointed as you could hope for and just a great place to relax at the end of each day. Its a little off the beaten track, so it really did feel like an escape - so very quiet and away from it all, with a great view across the countryside. We will definitely be booking again for future visits to family who live in this part of the world. Clare was a fantastic host - thank you for letting us stay at the Cottage. It really is a superb place!
