En skjult perle denne lille, men forbløffende ejendom blev beskrevet af en respekteret agent som "det smukkeste sted i Mykonos for sin størrelse", hvorfor ejeren købte det som et hjem. Renoveret af en talentfuld tysker kunne den ikke være mere smukt og bekvemt placeret for den populære og sofistikerede "sukkerterning" by Mykonos. En unik ejendom med et soveværelse, prestigefyldt beliggende i en storslået beliggenhed med intet andet end marker mellem huset og byen og kun 5 minutters gang ned ad trin til byen eller nås med taxa eller bil. Parkering er mulig i vejen i slutningen af stien, der fører til huset Billedet postkort udsigt er betagende fra alle vinkler i huset og terrassen, hvor du kan morgenmad, læse, solbade, se de stadigt skiftende solnedgange eller blot blive transfixeret af den ultimative udsigt over Mykonos og øerne ud over Syros, Tinos, Giaros og Kea i det fjerne.

Amazing views and great communication

Wow! You should definitely stay here, I travel a lot and have been to Mykonos before, but never seen a view like from this home. Amazing communication with Dida and she's a pleasure to meet as well. Can't say enough great things about our stay. Thanks for having us!

This is where you MUST stay!

I can’t say enough about our stay in Mykonos. The property was so beautiful and so authentically “Greek islands”. The view is EXACTLY as advertised and probably the absolute best view on the island. We were able to walk into town and truly felt like we had moved in and were apart of the local culture. Dida was AMAZING. She took care of us from before we got there until after we left, constantly available for help, suggestions and questions. She truly felt like family. Of our whole trip to Greece, Mykonos stole our hearts and Sam’s property is why.

Magical Mykonos

This is no grand Palace, But just a small beautiful house that has everything that you could wish for. It has Wi-Fi air-conditioning and a Veranda for sunbathing with a view to die for. The view of the harbour and bay and the islands with the endless comings and goings of yachts,and ferries will turn you into a boat spotter for life. We took binoculars with us which were a must.... The house is surrounded by flowers outside and marble inside.... You can stroll down to the town, which is open day and night, or you can rent a car or motorbike, and explore the island and its many beaches. The little narrow streets of shops and restaurants and bars are open all day , and at night They are lit up with magical effect. Mykonos is not an island to be missed And this house is perfect.

I have to say these guests were themselves very charming and so loved the house , that this is written in all sincerity It is most knid of them They were so ' in love ' with it , even before they arrived , from having seen the photographs on Owners Direct ! ( they are real as one guest commented previously ! ) However I have to say that this couple were undoubtly one of the most appreciative I have ever met and when I asked if there was anything they thought that was not right they said ' No , they could not have been happier and also they had slept so well too ' Caroline and Antony I think the house loved you as much as you love staying here You were exemplary guests who certainly made the most of this holiday home ( actually they did not leave the place in the first two or three days as they loved being in the house and on the terrace so much !! ) Thank you for your kind review and for leaving the house so clean and tidy ! You even folded the sheets and towels before you left It was delightful for me to have such charming guests You will of course be most welcome to stay for another visit one day , but I know you have many plans for future holidays for the time being

Stunning Views

This gorgeous property is situated in a beautiful and tranquil area yet within a short walk from the town with all its many restaurants and bars. Also close to a good local supermarket and a pretty walk to and from there. Sam was a generous and helpful host and very kindly drove us to and from the airport. He gave us lots of information about places to go and restaurants to try. The property was well stocked with water and Sam left us wine and food for our arrival. The AC and wifi work perfectly. The views from the balcony are stunning and watching the sunset from there is wonderful. We also enjoyed seeing it from the many waterfront bars and restaurants and getting lost in the town is all part of the experience. We came for a quiet break and this is just the place to do that. A really great holiday in a very beautiful place. Thank you Sam.

I have to say that this English couple were perfect and ideal guests They seemed to easily fall into their holiday mode I felt and wanted nothing more than to spend a quiet holiday in Mykonos , which apparently was what they managed to achieve ! They were a delightful couple and from the moment I met them at the airport , they were very charming and easy guests , whom I saw only once in the distance during their whole stay They would be most welcome again , should they choose visit Mykonos again The house was immaculate after they left and one cannot ask more from anyone ! Gorgeous View and Amazing Host

Dida, the property manager, is an angel! Genuine, helpful, and a gem of a woman. She picked us up at the port and dropped us at the airport. When we were stuck quite a distance from the residence and couldn’t get a taxi, she arranged one for us. Sam’s place is quaint and rustic. It has a lot of traditional elements. If you are looking for luxury, this may not be the place for you. BUT, if you are looking for a luxurious view, then it has this ten fold. The balcony had an amazing view, but the bugs might get to you. The stairs up from Mykonos are daunting, so we highly suggest walking down and taking a taxi up! No shame in saving your lungs and legs.

Best view in Mykonos!

The location is perfect, the view is the post card photo and painting that you see in every shop, literally. There is a sacrifice to every view, but if you can handle the steps it's well worth it. It's a great way to work off the amazing Greek cuisine and pastries of Mykonos Town. Dida was beyond amazing and the best host. She is local, knows everyone and will help you with anything you need. Hands down, if/when we visit again we will not think twice about where to stay. Thanks Sam and Dida!!

Urlaub mit Abstrichen aber Traumaussicht.

Das Objekt ist für ältere Menschen nicht unbedingt geeignet. Es kann mit dem Auto nicht direkt angefahren werden, also nur zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vom Eingang führt eine enge und sehr steile Treppe nach unten in den Wohnbereich, der wiederum durch einzelne Stufen unterteilt ist. Dafür hat man jedoch eine Traumaussicht.

25 Year Anniversary

Sam's place was beautiful and amazing. The view was outstanding and a once in a lifetime opportunity, but what truly made the trip was Dida. She contacted us before we came, picked us up at the port, gave us awesome advice on where to go on the island, answered every text at all hours, took us back to the port and truly treated us like family. Sam is so lucky to have this beautiful property in such a stunting location, but what is truly lucky is having someone like Dida representing him. She made our stay a wonderful experience!

“Million dollar sunset view. What a lovely place to stay to enjoy Mykonos. It looked exactly like the pictures and the wifi and the a/c worked perfectly. As with all of Mykonos the walk to town is 5 minutes down and 20 back up but it's good to work off the delicious food. Sam was a great host. I chanced upon this beautiful property in 2000 and found it irresistible. I have been spending quite a bit of time here I hope my guests will enjoy this very special place as much as I always do.It's position is utterly wonderful and the property totally UNIQUE therefore nothing available which is similar on the island for position or size It is my home also , not only a property to let , in a quiet residential location It is not a place for holding parties , so if you want that , sorry this is not for you !! Please respect the neighbours close by , who are delightful too by the way So no loud music into the night please Plenty of places you can party in Mykonos The views are breathtaking

However it is not for the elderly or infirm with the steps to walk up to get there up the hill , although you can also drive or take a taxi The climb is worth it for the view alone , and the decor is delightful too ! However there are 5 stepish steps on entering the property with a strong handrail on either side when entering You can see them in the photographs

STUNNING AND UNIQUE LOCATION IN A CHARMING SETTING AND ARCHITECTURALLY DELIGHTFUL PROPERTY ABOVE MYKONOS TOWN AND VIEWS TO ISLANDS BEYOND YET ONLY 6 or 7 MINUTES WALK OR DRIVE DOWN THE HILL ( 10/15 minutes walk up again though !) Taxis are sometimes few and far between even late at night Take note of this if you do not have a car
