Home from home in great quiet location close to town

Home was very comfortable. Great location. Property manager very easy to work with and all information provided. Location is great as able to walk to several great restaurants and the town square. Look forward to returning.

Very clean and comfortable

Great villa very clean and comfortable with everything you'll need! Arrived late and found complimentary water, milk, orange juice and ice which was much appreciated! Pool was well kept but felt a little reserved and quiet! Local area and beaches lovely too.....if you have a car latchi has great beaches and restaurants! Overall it was a great stay and id recommend this villa

Quiet, relaxed holiday

The property is exactly as described, clean, comfy and, apart from a coffee pot, had everything we needed. Set in a lovely relaxing complex with a fantastic pool in beautiful and well maintained gardens. Polis is a small town with an even smaller restaurant and bar area in the square.. Perfect for us. All the food we had was excellent and MASSIVE portions! The only drawback for us was distance to the beach, a good 25 to 30 minute walk but to be fair the host had advised us of this and suggested we hire a car which we will do next time. Overall a great holiday in a really nice house. Would definitely recommend.

NEVER AGAIN

The apartment is nice, comfortable, super equipped ... but internet ... cleanliness and the owner leave a lot to be desired. 1) internet goes to 128 k, perhaps, the line often fails and the connection is often impossible, I had work commitments that I had to give up, with many consequences. 2) satellite TV does not exist, not even the local one, television does !!! 3) we found hair in the beds on the floor and in the bathtub. 4) Although the owner had booked and paid on time, he wanted to cancel the reservation, luckily we requested the intervention of Vrbo and only at this point they gave us the ok but with one day less. 5) he reimbursed the unused night !!! I would like to point out that the owner has completely disinterested in requests for help with the missing connection. I repeat the house will also be beautiful, but if the owner does not help to solve the problems ... There are many more beautiful houses in Polis Nb. Polis is a beautiful, quiet town that offers many excursions with a beautiful sea

Relaxing week in well equipped townhouse

We have just returned from our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived after a late flight and were given clear instructions for entry, were welcomed with basic supplies which was very kind. The house itself had everything you needed was clean, well equipped and a perfect base for exploring the area. The communal pool was a few steps from the terrace and was mainly used by our children so felt like a private pool. It is about a 15 minute walk into the town centre which has lots of restaurants, shops etc. Would highly recommend this townhouse.

Very spacious property, well equipped. Owner very helpful and sorted broadband issue quickly. Wonderful location, easy walking distance to facilities. Polis and Latchi unspoiled and beautiful.

Excellent Accomodation

The property was very clean and tidy and had everything we required for our stay, the surrounding gardens were well kept and the pool area was also clean and tidy, with only a short walk into the centre of town and local facilities.

Lovely, peaceful home from home.

We booked this villa in Polis for a quiet holiday within a short walk of bars, restaurants etc. From the moment we booked, the owners, Sue and Lee were helpful and sent us all the relevant information, directions, key details. We arrived late at night and their directions were spot on, and then we found a thoughtful courtesy pack containing milk, bread butter etc, perfect start. The villa was spotless and had everything you would need for a pleasant stay. The air conditioners and fans were very effective in the lounge and bedrooms and the bed was comfortable too. Leaflets, maps, instructions and recommendations were on hand in a folder which was very useful . A private patio led down to a clean pool with plenty of sun beds and parasols, lovely and peaceful. An easy 10 minute walk to Polis square with plenty of lovely tavernas and shops. The locals were very friendly too. Just a 5 minute walk to a small supermarket or a bigger shop just a little further. We hired a car and drove to Latchi which was pleasant as was Troodos, with its monastery. We would love to return to this delightful villa as we felt we could’ve stayed longer than our booked 10 days! Thoroughly recommend this villa.

Home from home

We have just had a lovely 10 day break staying at this lovely holiday house. The house is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a great holiday. It’s great that the swimming pool is a few steps off the patio. Most of the time it was just our family around the pool! We travelled as a family of four, kids aged 10 and 8, and we all enjoyed it here. The owners are very helpful and any queries we had were answered straight away. Polis and the surrounding area is lovely. It is very quiet and great for a relaxing holiday. We ate out every evening and found some lovely tavernas, our favourite was Santa Barbara which is about a 10 minute drive away from the house (turn right out of the main road from the house and keep going, it’s on the left hand side) the staff here are lovely, the food is fab and it’s right on the beach. We would definitely return to polis gardens.

Fabulous!

This is a little gem. It is in a quiet residential area and shares a pool with approximately 15 other properties, although there is really anyone else around or in the pool. At the most at any one time tended to be other family by the pool but that was very rare. There are friendly, permanent residents here as well which is quite handy for local information. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Market Square which has a safe atmosphere in the evenings. It's also walking distance to a good supermarket. The apartment itself was clean and tidy as was the pool. Considering we went during the six weeks holiday and during the hottest month, the apartment stayed nice and cool with the air-conditioning. I would highly recommend this apartment. We had a lovely time.

well equiped house in very pleasant surroundings

Just returned from our first Cypriot holiday. We found the house to be in a lovely private and quiet complex. Loved having the pool within a few steps and there were always loungers to spare. Everything we needed was supplied and the one small query we had was resolved the next day. Lee and Sue answered any questions we had before our arrival quickly and we found them to be very helpful. Would recommend the house and area.

Good value quiet place to relax

We keep coming back here. Polis is so much better than Paphos. It is a sanctuary from the rat race. The nearby supermarket is well stocked for self-catering and the villa is well equiped. But Polis restaurants are also cheap so eating out is good value. the villa is within a few minutes walking distance of the Polis herb Garden restaurant which is both cheap and serves very high quality meals with great service in a comfortable environment. Having a separate downstairs toilet was a real luxury. We slept well on the beds but in late March, I would have welcomed an extra blanket.. The villa and the shared pool and gardens are well maintained. There can be a few moderately noisy youngsters but even these are friendly. The view of the mountains from the patio adds to the relaxing environment. We are keen walkers and Polis is ideally situated for the Arkamas and the Troodos. Away from the Aphrodite nature trail, we had the paths mostly to ourselves. The views from the paths of mountains, valleys and sea are exceptional and the air is pure. We rented a hire car from Elephant as they meet you off your flight at the airport and their insurance does not mean you worry over causing the slightest scratch. Two minor things. The front door screeches over the floor as you open it. This can happen when the weather has been wet but it still did it during the fine weather we had. The hot water comes from the panels on the roof. We found the hot water was only warm unless it had been a hot day with clear skies. Neither really bothered us but I have included the negative so you can believe the positive. We hope to book next year, assuming villa, flights, hire cars, meals etc. remain good value.

Great place to stay

This is a lovely house in a quiet location in Polis. It has all the amenities you need. We arrived about 1.30am and very much appreciated the welcome goodies and enjoyed a cup of tea and some toast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The patio is just a few steps from the pool but is not overlooked. The setting of the pool is very pleasant with lots of flowers and palm trees surrounding it. There are plenty of places to visit such as Latchi marina and the restaurant at the top of Aphrodite bay with its wonderful views. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Summer at Polis Garden Paradise

On arrival at pathos airport, we were greeted by the car hire company arranged by Mr Roberts, who swiftly checked our paperwork and took us to our car. We followed the instructions that we had been given to the apartment really easily, they couldnt have been clearer and arrived at the apartments about 1am. The apartment was well lit so that we could find our apartment easily, and the location even in darkest was clean, quiet and we felt safe. The apartment on arrival was pristine, very clean and tidy and for us luxury! A welcome was left with milk, tea bags (!!), bread and butter so after a long day travelling, we had an evening flight so had been up all day, an ENGLISH cup of tea and toast was most welcome! The bedroom, lounge and bathroom has all you need and was a home from home, all very comfortable. The apartment also has games, english TV channels and books there to use too. The pool area was very quiet and serene, only a few people around, which for us was ideal as our children are off hand, peace and quiet was what we wanted, although the complex is also ideal for children too we just choose to go during school time). There is garden furniture on your own veranda, a bbq and facilities to wash and dry your clothes. Polis itself is lovely. Although we had a car, we walked everywhere, into town every night to eat, and to the supermarket nearby to shop, although you can drive if you wish. The restaurants are lovely, people are so friendly and helpful without hassling you to eat there, prices are very reasonable too. The beach and llatchi harbour are lovely, again we walked, but driving is possible too. nice little gift shops in town aswell. We loved it in Polis, our best holiday so far, and we have already booked to go back same time next year! Thank you Mr and Mrs Roberts for allowing us to share your little spot of heaven!

Well equipped & pleasant location

This property is very well equipped, tastefully furnished & decorated & we found it spotlessly clean on arrival. It is situated close to the shared pool but due to its position not overlooked by other pool users. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

A fantastic place, the location is perfect for Polis. The layout is superb in the property with all the facilities. Very clean and well maintained. there is a excellent atmosphere around the pool and everyone was very friendly. The restaurants and bars are very good in Polis and the locals are very friendly. The owners provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this property ans as such have awarded 5 stars. awesome

This quiet villa enjoys an enviable position looking out over the rural landscape to Paphos forest and the Troodos mountains beyond.

A 5 minute walk takes you into the centre of Polis with its quiet laid-back charm and to its varied eateries and traditional tavernas, therefore a car is unnecessary, however is useful for exploring further afield
Within an easy distance to the Akamas peninsular for walking, bird-watching, cycling, etc. Bikes can be hired locally. Polis, with its pedestrianised central square is well-catered for restaurants, tavernas and bars as well as shops, supermarkets and banks. For nature lovers, the conservation area of Lara Bay is a short car journey away. Lara Bay is a protected beach and one of the few areas in the Mediterranean where Loggerhead and Green turtle
