Sundow Villa is in a prestigious, quiet area with direct access to the sea; the villa is not overlooked. All three bedrooms in the main house have a balcony or private terrace with a full sea view. Two bedrooms en suite, the third (downstairs) has a bathroom by its side. There is a fourth bathroom, en suite, in an annex.

Spectacular vaulted, two storey lounge with a beamed cedar wood ceiling and a gallery linking the two upper floor bedrooms. Kitchen with breakfast bar and a separate dining area for 8 persons. Multiple terraces, including an enclosed courtyard and an outside dining area next to the private pool with infinity edge; places to lie in the sun or shade, as preferred. Private parking adjacent to the house with level access (an unusual feature for the Peninsula, and a great advantage).

This is one of the most luxurious villas in the region built with local stone to the highest standard. West facing with spectacular sunsets, stunning views over the sea and the Taurus mountains.

Perfect villa

We had the most lovely time at Sundown villa. The views and sunsets can't be beaten and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. the villa team are lovely and welcoming and we overall had the most lovely week on holiday. Couldn't recommend it more!

Magnificent sea view villa

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this very well appointed villa - four comfortable bedrooms, great kitchen and living area. The infinity pool is not overlooked and the views are amazing. The photos really don't do it justice. Your local liaison is the wonderful Cuneyt - he is passionate about Kas and the local area and recommended some excellent restaurants, private boat trips and other activities. Kas is easily our favourite experience of Turkey (have been to lots of other areas on the coast). Allan, the owner, was very helpful when we had to adjust our timings slightly at the last moment. All in all, one of the very best experiences we have had as a family. We'll certainly look to come back!

Fabulous first visit to Kas

We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Sundown Villa with friends. From the start the host Allan quickly responded to our queries and recommended a great transfer service to the villa. We were not disappointed when we arrived to find everything as or better than we could have expected. The location is perfect, not just for the great views but access to the dolmus to take the short journey into Kas town - we were very grateful not to have climb steep slopes or steps which many of the other properties have. We were glad not to have hired a car. The taxis are reasonable but we mostly we took the dolmus into Kas where there are lots of great restaurants and bars, many recommended by the host and previous guests. We would recommend a day trip to the Greek island of Meis where we visited the blue cave, watched and fed turtles at the harbour and walked the picturesque cobbled streets. There are many boat tours available in Kas. We took the small Batin with captain ‘garlic’ Ali and had another great day out. We will definitely try to book Sundown Villa should we be lucky enough to return to Kas in the future. Thank you!

wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge in Kas

Sehr gut ausgestattete, komfortable Villa mit großzügigem Platzangebot, wunderbarer Terrasse mit Blick auf die Inseln. Es war alles sehr sauber, der Pool und der Garten wurden täglich kontrolliert und gereinigt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Sundown villa Dream Vacation

From the time I booked the villa and received the property owners first message I knew this was going To be a good experience. Every detail was explained thoroughly and With love. When we arrived at the villa, I remember opening the front door and looking at the amazing view in front of me..SPECTACULAR ! This was family vacation, we were super Comfortable. Spent a lot of in the villa: Cooking, Swimming, playing games, singing.. Definitely planning On coming back.

Sundown Lowdown

The property lived up to our expectations with great views across the bay from the infinity pool.Living area spot on although the kitchen was looking a bit tired with drawers and cupboards not shutting properly. Mehmet was a real star always available for our needs whether being bread or charcoal for BBQ. Cűneyt was quite helpful but was very money orientated trying to get us on trips on our first morning of arrival.But ,the boat trip we arranged with him was brilliant although quite expensive. Kaś was a lovely place to visit with Zula being our favourite place to eat and Barcelona bar being a superb watering hole up Slippy Street with Heldan (Mr Bean) and his staff being perfect hosts!! Steer clear of Muptella as food and service was terrible!!Not a good experience. Thank You Allan for letting us have the use of your fantastic villa. Kind Regards Richard Price (Bristol)

Breathtaking

The view and the outside areas are this property's most spectacular elements. Sitting by the pool watching the sun set over the ocean is spectacular - and the shady nooks for reading a book and playing backgammon are wonderful also.

Very cosy villa with a breathtaking seaview

We had a very homely and comfortable stay. The villa is in good condition with great sea view and well-arranged pool area. We enjoyed it. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, I believe even a complicated multilevel birthday cake can be prepared there without a risk to spoil a party :) Air conditioning available in each room was saving us during hot midday hours. Additional thanks for water pressure in bathrooms, usually it is quite weak in the area but here it was extremely powerful. We would gladly come again.

Perfect, restfull holiday

We spent our 3 days at Sundown as 7 friends. The holiday was wonderful at the villa. Location, rooms, facilities inside the villa were perfect. The cleaners were very heplpful. Allan, owner of the villa, was always get in touch via e-mails. Althoug we loved the villa some minor issues are need improvement: the pool was a bit dirty like blurred according the other pools,the place for have a swim in the sea was really inadequate. The staircase was rusty. It should be changed and maybe a wave breaker may be useful as near villas have.

Sundown villa is owned by Allan and Jane Beardsworth, of Stockport, Manchester, England.
We first stayed on Kas Peninsula in 2010: loved it so much, we made a note of the best properties situated on the side we preferred (nice sundowns, preferred views) and rented Sundown in 2011. We loved it so much that we rented it again in 2012. During our stay we found out that it might be going up for sale, so we approached the owner, and a deal was agreed. During 2013 we had two lovely stays as owners, once in July, once in October.
Allan is a chartered accountant, Jane a primary school teacher; married with three children. You may wish to google us- Allan in particular is on the internet a lot, through his work (previously for many years a partner at Deloitte, now a trustee of various charities) and hobby (chess): that way, you will know we exist, and get some impression of us.

Why they chose this property

Jane visited Turkey as a student, and always wanted to take her family there. In 2010 we came to Kas for the first time, booking a villa from the long list of those available on the internet. Loved the area, loved the town (good size, great restaurants, nice feel to it) and so made a note of the better villas on the peninsula. In 2011 we booked one of them, Sundown, loved it so much, so stayed again in 2012, and then bought it, when we learnt that the owner might be putting it up for sale.
We love the villa, the views, the access to the water; we love the area, both Kas itself and places within easy reach such as Patara, Meis, Limanagzi.
Our villa is not overlooked, and the access and parking (ample) is on the flat.

What makes this property unique

We love the special view, through the day but especially in the evening, and the sea breeze.

Many other villas on the peninsula have harder access: steep slopes, parking on the slope: the former restaurant's car parking area is behind our villa, giving ample space.

We love the fact that there are different parts of the outside: Jane in particular loves the sun; Allan tends to prefer being in the shade, or at least out of the direct sun. There is a dining area outside where we have many meals.
