Agarrus Rentals : A menos de 2 km, tiene un centro de equitación, práctica de golf, tenis. En el Centro Aix en Provence, 1000 restaurantes y cafeterías, supermercados, cines, casinos, teatros, etc. Agarrus también se encuentra a 3 km del pequeño pueblo llamado Venelles (con panaderías, tiendas, supermercados, cafeterías y un supermercado muy útil). La estación de tren TGV de Aix-en-Provence está a 15 minutos de Agarrus. París en TGV tarda 3 horas. El aeropuerto internacional de Marignane (Marsella / Provenza) está a 20 minutos de Aix. Los vuelos a París toman 1 hora y a Londres 1 hora y 30 minutos a través de British Airways o Easy Jet a Gatwick (EasyJet desde £ 19 Londres-Marsella ida y vuelta). Los taxis o los traslados en autocar (llamados Navettes) salen del aeropuerto de Marignane (MP2) hacia el centro de Aix varias veces por hora. También se detienen en la estación de TGV a tiempo para la llegada y salida de los trenes. Perfect palce to stay in Provence !

We spent a wonderfull time in this place. The swimming pool is great and the the view all around is beautifull and peacefull. The inside of the house is very cosy and confortable. I will come back to this place for sure.

Amazing villa

It was such an amazing trip. The home has a great location to Aix-En-Provence the center. Pool and property was fantastic. The hpst was amazing. We felt right at home and will be back. Only wish was all the beds rooms having A/C. Us americans are spoiled.

Wonderful

Excellent base for exploring the Provence. Beautiful house, plenty of space and a very nice pool. Children (3,6,9) absolutely loved it and so did we. Thanks Bertrand!

The perfect Provençal Experience

We gathered at Agarrus for a long birthday weekend with friends and were delighted from the minute we entered the property. The location is not far from Aix and the TGV and a perfect spot to explore the area. We were more interested in relaxing however which we were able to do beautifully in the house. Sadly the weather was too stormy to spend much time at the pool but we spent an entire day cooking (having purchased marvelous products at the marche in Aix), eating and drinking lots of delicious rose. The home is comfortable as can be and set up for anything you'd like to do. I can thoroughly recommend this property to any visitors to the area!

Amazing!

My family and I stayed here for 5 days and we wished we could stay forever! It was perfect. A relaxing and idyllic escape. So peaceful. Bertrand was so helpful and friendly when we arrived - we immediately felt at home in this beautiful place. It was a quick drive into Aix - very convenient to a lot of great day trips as well. Although it was hard to leave because there were so many fun things to do at the house itself (ping pong, petanque, games, swimming, quiet relaxation on the veranda...I could go on!) - Bertrand, thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us! We had a memorable trip and truly enjoyed it!

Absolutely Perfect Provence Experience !! Very Special Place

My family and I spent a week in Bertand and Laura's magical home and fell in love with it ! Perfect in all ways .... Peaceful and beautiful setting and gorgeous landscape, amazing pool .....lots of room to spread out so you aren't on top of each other ..... Close to Aix for lots of exploring , history and fun restaurants .... Though I will admit that it was hard to leave the house as the beauty and peace was so incredibly satisfying ..... Fresh figs off of the tree during season ( we were so lucky to enjoy hem with the regional cheeses) , gorgeous light and sunsets . I just can't say enough about how every aspect was super perfect ! Our host Bertrand is a fantastic help and available for any ?'s or advice for help needed .... Agarrus ( the name of this magical home) welcomes you in and you feel like it's your own ....close to town but far enough to be deeply satisfying and peaceful .... very enjoyable to go to town to the market to collect fresh fruits and vegetables ... Cheese, olives ... Wine or Pastis and of course fresh baguette to enjoy the products from this region at their freshest and finest on the patio or down by the pool "tapas style" .... A well stocked kitchen for making meals at home ...every aspect very satisfying for the soul... Agarrus is a perfect location for a base from which to explore many of the areas towns & villages ...! .... All which are wonderful to absorb the beauty and authenticity of France ...cannot wait to return and with a goal of once a year , will plan and book ahead to have this be our home when we are in Provence .... A couple of side notes in Aix -en-Provence ...We loved the boulangerie that is right there on the left when you exit the parking garage recommended to park "Bellegarde" for breads, croissant , coffee , pastry .... Sandwiches ....and there is a very special Crepe restaurant that is so beautiful inside and a very authentic experience .... Highly recommend it . Merci Beaucoup Bertrand and Laura ... We will never forget this wonderful trip and can't wait to visit again .

Best graduation gift ever!

We brought two of our granddaughters to this extraordinary home to celebrate their high school graduations. The home was furnished beautifully, with attention to every detail! The pool was a welcome relief after hot days of touring and sightseeing. Bertrand, the owner, waited for us to arrive and gave a complete tour of the home and property. It is evident he has taken great care as he has attended to every detail with percision! Pure joy!!!

Beautiful home for an escape

The property is beautiful and we had a fabulous time. The pool was beautiful and clean. Not far to get into Aix - around 15/20 minute drive. Lots of vineyards and easy access to the Luberon. You definitely need a car but it’s a fantastic place for an escape! All I would say is that if you are planning on arriving late or requesting a late checkout (like we did) then you must give Bertrand sufficient notice as he was not able to meet us late or allow us to stay late on the check out day. Other than that, a wonderful stay.

Provence Hideaway

My family and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. We were fortunate to meet Bertrand, the proud owner of this home. He made us feel very welcome and provided us with a detailed information and tour of all the amenities. The location is perfect. You are very secluded in this gated home, just far enough away from the activities and business of Aix. As we were were there during off season, we did not have the benefit of enjoying the pool and the other outdoor offerings. The home is fully equipped and is very comfortable. We look forward to renting this property again in a warmer season in order to enjoy the property to its fullest.

Lovely villa , fabulous week with family , a great week providing everything we had wished for

Many thanks to Bertrand , a great week , The villa is very well equipped , gorgeous pool and lovely private grounds and easy route to Aix en Province The only negative is the access road which provides a few initial challenges Excellent information / directions were provided .

beautiful property at a great location

Friends and I rented this villa for 3 nights in April. A few guests used the pool as the weather ticked higher. Loved how clean everything was. The villa is away from it all if you're looking to relax, although you can get to downtown Aix in 10 minutes. I even ordered an uber which came and picked me up. The property is off the beaten path so we arrived later than expected so give yourself extra time as a GPS won't take you to the doorstep. The host was very amenable and suggested Chateau La Coste for a wine tour/tasting. Highly recommend as it's a great place to for food and drink. All in all, a wonderful experience.

One of the best villas we have stayed in, well equipped, lovely pool, quiet, great views

Bertrand, the owner , was there to greet us, and show us round the property. The house is excellent, the photos don't lie. Kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well equipped. The pool is as new, very clean, lots of sun loungers, and a loggia for shade. Several sets of tables and chairs on the terrace. Plancha outdoor grill was great, there is also a Weber charcoal barbecue. Full size table tennis , and also a purpose made pétanque area. Half an hour from both Marseille Airport and Aix TGV, 10 minutes to Aix. We have stayed in dozens of villas, this is probably the best one. We plan to re-book.

Amazing house in the heart of "Provence"

First impression with the house is the owner Mr bertrand, he was so nice to tell us everything about the house and the area. The house is super clean !! Outside its quiet, the garden is so nice ! The pool has a good size to swim and is very clean too. I recomand the house 5 stars

Villa de rêve!

Cette grande villa est au calme avec un jardin très bien entretenu bordant une très belle piscine.Plusieurs petites tables, une près de la fontaine permet un petit déjeuner au calme, une autre sous le mûrier dévoile une vue sur la piscine et une autre au milieu de la terrasse a permis de profiter du soleil du mois d'avril. Les quatre chambres sont très agréables avec des salles de bain impeccables et la pièce commune permet des soirées au coin du feu. Le propriétaire nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et nous a laissé un panier de bienvenue délicieux qui nous a permis de bien commencer le séjour dans la joie et la bonne humeur. Je reviendrai assurément dans cette maison pour tester la piscine à une période plus favorable.

Wonderfull !

The most helpful and pleasent host I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much and he was very friendly and informative. As for the property, the place really is as good as the photos show. A week in paradise!

Eight of us enjoyed a magical week in this lovely property. Everything we needed was at hand; 5 minutes to a bakery in the morning and just 10 minutes from Aix! The villa is comfortable, secluded, well equipped and runs smoothly. There are a number of tables and sites for outdoor dining as well as generous accommodation with in.The gardens are lovely and the pool is excellent. The owner could not have been more helpful or charming.

Agarrus - Look no further

We spent a delightful week in Provence, made all the more pleasant by our renting a lovely home called "Agarrus" which was a 10 minute drive from Aix and about half an hour from Marseille. We were met upon arrival by Bertrand the owner, who is the most delightful person you could meet (speaks very good English too). He could not do enough to make sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Prior to our arrival we had corresponded by email and he gave very specific instructions on how to get to the house. It is a bit tricky to get there, but we found our way with his instructions. It is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by trees and you really feel like you are in the country (although there are a few houses around). I have never rented a home that is so well equipped, its unbelievable! The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need, and more. Don't worry about bringing sheets or towels, or anything else - he has thought of it all - right down to the bedroom slippers. We particularly picked this house because we wanted a house on one level as we had an elderly lady staying with us, so it was perfect. The 4 bedrooms were very spacious and 2 of them had ensuites, plus there was an extra bathroom and toilet, which is an added bonus. There is a lovely well manicured garden with a good size pool. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit Provence. It is a lovely home in every respect, very clean and comfortable and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Bertrand, thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We hope to come back some day to Agarrus.

Agarrus is situated in Aix countryside at less than 4km from Aix en Provence Center; it means we have the calm of the countryside, the beautiful and large garden around the heated pool (28°C/82°F from May to October)...but also in 10 minutes we are in the center of Aix with its 1000 restaurants and cafés, its cinemas, its historical architecture and beautiful fontaines everywhere. The perfect place for shopping and culture !
