Different Christmas

Older single friends wanting a change from the usual Christmas aloneness!!We had some lovely long walks & bought fresh seafood from Ilfracombe for Christmas lunch which we enjoyed in the garden room with a wonderful view of Lee Bay!The village pub was perfect for early drinks & the odd meal. Local people extremely friendly. Will definitely come again sometime.

Perfect coastal location

We loved staying at Millfield Cottage, the house is well equipped and spacious. The location is fabulous, we were there in October, so the weather was stormy, being warm and cosy in the house while watching the waves break on the rocks and hearing the wind on the sea was just great. Lee bay is a fantastic rocky bay with caves and many hidden beaches, worth exploring. The garden is also lovely. The narrow Devon lanes can be a bit daunting but taken carefully you soon learn how to navigate them. This is an 'out of the way' holiday spot but in close reach of cafes and restaurants in both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. We had a fab time and would definitely return. Thank you.

Wonderful stay at Millfield, Lee Bay

The house is very well situated in Lee near the beach and has beautiful views of the bay. We very much enjoyed staying here. The coastal walks are spectacular but the area is not flat, lots of up hill but well worth the effort.

Great property!

We had a lovely week away at this property. It has such amazing views to enjoy and is a great base to explore North Devon. Right next to the coastal paths which we took into both Ilfracombe and Woolacombe with our dog - tiring but beautiful! Excellent hosts, look forward to visiting again.

Idyllic cottage with amazing views.

We are 3 sisters and our friend who visit every year to walk the South West Coastal path. The cottage was right on the path so could not have been better placed. We arrived in the dark and could not believe how beautiful the views were when we awoke in the morning. The pictures on the Internet were far exceeded by the real thing. Everything was really clean, warm and fully equipped for our stay. When we were not walking we spent most of time in the conservatory looking at the view or doing jigsaw puzzles. Would recommend this cottage to all age groups and hope to come back again

Stay at Millfield

We loved our time at Millfield. Were expecting torrential rain to bought a lot of jigsaws to make in the beautiful conservatory. It was sunny too so we swam twice a day with paddle boards in the gorgeous Lee Bay. Lovely walk to Ilfracombe. Very relaxing in lovely house.

What a position!

Fantastically positioned property. Could look at view all day. The little beach below the house was perfect. Although completely covered at high tide, it was great for kids and dogs because it has gently shelving sands. Also doesn't get crowded and we were there in August.

Amazing Views

Millfield is a fantastic property overlooking Lee Bay. Beautiful views and sunsets and a 2 min walk to the beach. The house is very comfortable and well equipped for a family holiday, with a large enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful property with stunning views over the bay. Cosy, yet spacious and modern whilst maintaining a cottage feel. Fantastic holiday with wonderful weather, very lucky. We will definitely be staying again in future!

Practically perfect

A lovely place..beautiful...amazing views...the property is layed out well so everyone staying isnt on top of each other...the same with the garden....I would highly recommend staying here...worth every penny .

Fantastic location

Precisely as described and just perfect for our break. Clean, really well kitted out and a stone's throw from the small beach. Very peaceful. Prompt and helpful replies to all queries from Louise. Definitely recommended.

Fabulous location

All about the location which, with afternoon sun, has to be one of the best situated properties in Lee. Lee itself charming and quiet though the possible development of the derelict hotel in the centre of the village may happen sometime. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable with modern fitting out and has a wonderful conservatory allowing you to enjoy the view in all weathers. Communication and support from the owners was excellent. Great walks along the cliffs from the cottage. Highly recommended.

Beautiful

We loved our stay at millfields! Words an describe the amazing view. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and more. Lousie was very easy to get hold of and quick to respond throughout the booking process and when staying at the cottage. Will vistit again.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Uns hat es sehr gut in Lee in diesem wunderschönen Haus gefallen. Es ist. sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, hat. einen hellen freundlichen Wintergarten und einen atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Bucht von Lee. Wir werden auf Jeden Fall noch einmal dorthin reisen. Familie Stern
