Lying beneath the majestic mountain of Cader Idris and within walking distance of Llyn Mwyngil (Tal y Llyn), set into the hillside in a peaceful and secluded riverside location. Sympathetically restored to retain its distinctive features: the surroundings are light, airy and welcoming.

The house sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms (please note the third bedroom is two bunk beds and not a large room). The master bedroom has private access to the river and a wood-burner. Nearby are thriving historic market towns including Machynlleth (weekly market and CAT) and the seaside town of Aberdyfi with its miles of sandy beaches, outdoor activities and yachting. Plenty of local leisure opportunities including mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, fishing, kayaking, sailing, mountaineering. Visit castles, zip wires, steam trains. Or just stay indoors and watch beautiful, natural world go by through the big picture windows. Y Felin has very good WiFi (free), TV, separate utilities room with washing machine and dryer.
