Time to get away and relax. Views of the lake from the living room. Our property is in a great location. Arrive through the gated entrance, pull into a private garage and unload everything onto the private elevator to get to every floor. The swimming pool is in the back of the building.

The property has 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds all with private bathrooms, 1 room with two twin beds and 1 guest room with full size pull out couch. Large living area for relaxing while enjoying a large Smart TV with surround sound, blu-ray DVD player. There are also 5 other Smart TVs in the each of the other rooms, for your enjoyment. You can bring any game systems as all of our media equipment is easy to use and is brand new.

Another living area where kids can draw and watch TV along with tons of toys for kids to play with. Ceiling Fans in every room.

Full Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, plenty of dishes/flatware and glassware (including beer and wine glasses). The Stainless steel major appliances include a cooktop range, double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, rice cooker, coffee pot, toaster, blender and lots of other utensils.... enough to cook for a whole family.

The beach house has granite counter tops in the kitchen and hardwoods throughout the main living areas. Bedrooms have soft carpeting. Bathrooms have ceramic tile floors and granite counter tops.
Laundry room has a new washer / dryer all-in-one unit.

The garage houses pool/ beach toys, chairs, and a few kid’s bikes. There is also an outdoor community grill.

Keyless entry doors to access the condo and garage provided for easy coming and going during your stay. Handicapped parking available and easy wheel chair accessibility.

Activities:

Enjoy all the amenities provided at Carolina Beach Lake (just across the street). The lake park provides 11 acres of a walking/bike trail, playground, free movies during the summer and a farmers market on Saturdays and town sponsored weekly events during the summer months. During the winter holiday months, the town displays thousands of lights for the Island of Lights celebration and parade.

A 5 minute stroll to the newly upgraded boardwalk! Enjoy many new restaurants, bars and classic dessert shops; Britt's donuts, Squigley's Ice Cream, Celtic Creamery, Island Ice, Fudgeboat, and etc. In addition, there are carnival rides, Ferris wheel and . Enjoy the weekly Thursday night fireworks display from the pool

Within a 9 minute drive: There is the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Fort Fisher Ferry, piers in both Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, Freeman Park on the north end of the island which allows 4X4 trucks to drive on, Masonboro Country Club, and the Battleship in Wilmington and the Tregembo zoo in Wilmington.

We enjoyed our stay with our family in this spacious condominium; there was plenty of room; however, the top floor where we spent most of our time was very hot. The host replied promptly about the heat, but it was never really cool at all on the top floor.

We had a great family vacation in this spacious condo! Perfect location - you could park your car and walk to everything you need to go to! Beach, restaurants, shops, icecream, and the board walk! Can't beat the location - we will definitely return!

Great place and location

Space was awesome and super convenient to the boardwalk as well as the beach. The community pool was also great. Best part was the friendly neighbors that live there. They were all super inviting and friendly.

This is a great property for several family members and/ or friends. You can each have your own space/floor and then come together in the kitchen/dining/living area . Great location to boardwalk, Squigglys ice cream and the Park. Beach entrance right up the street. Owner was very responsive and helpful. The elevator was very helpful especially if there are older guests who can’t do the stairs. We had a lovely time.

wish i had more room, lots to sayeasy access to the beach, and boardwalk 3 different access codes (car gate, pedestrian gate, front door) you will have to download an app to a cell phone for the garage door, entrance door batteries may fail may have to prop the door open until new ones are brought by someone the owner contacts. only one of us was sent an invitation for the app, we did sometimes come/go at different times. After our door malfunction, the owner did offer to send an invite to another in our party. AC control is off site, consider this when assigning rooms, as the temperature varies from floor to floor. Pick the comfort levels you want. The top floor is the kitchen/gathering area was more comfortable with the 2 box fans we purchased during our stay. 2nd and 3rd floor 2 spaces listed as bedroom or sleeping spaces don't have doors, just privacy screens. Motion activated lights on the stairs can be problematic for those sleeping in there. The elevator opens into the 2nd floor "bedroom", which also houses the washer/dryer and separated bunk beds. The elevator opens into the 3rd floor sleeping area also. may need to bring black out curtains to put over the blinds bring disposable coffee cups Pool- very nice, clean. Walk gates require codes to get out, one did not work properly

Lots of room and great location

This condo has many flights of stairs so you will get your steps in for the day! We had a lovely weekend with 6 people staying in the condo comfortably. The condo had everything we needed.

Carolina Beach Family Vacay 2023

This was our first family vacay with an infant, our first grandchild and it was really an ideal location. Everyone had their own floor to call their own. We could easily walk to the beach or the boardwalk. I highly recommend this to families or large groups!

Family get away

Great location we walked to dinner, boardwalk and beach. The listing said 5 bedrooms and 5 bath. Really it is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The 5th bedroom has no door and has 2 tiny beds for small children. Overall the place was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Choice

Perfect place for a large family. Very close to the beach so short walk. 2 bedrooms on all 3 floors, one of which is a child’s playroom combo bedroom. Pool close to unit as well. Many places to eat within walking distance as well as activities. Hopefully we will be able to rent again next year for our family beach vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Great property in a great location. One small complaint: the electrical outlet in the 2nd floor bedroom is not working. Otherwise, it was a very nice rental. Great to have an elevator at a beach house where the kitchen is typically on the third level!!

Great location, but a few cons to be aware of:- Thermostat control was a major issue. Each thermostat was locked and set to 73 degrees in July, which made the fourth floor very hot, especially while cooking. We had to contact the host to request adjustments, and were told the schedule was dictated by a “green agreement” with the power company. This was not disclosed in the listing or property information. The host later requested an adjustment from the utility company, but renters should know they do not have direct control of the thermostat.- Only 10 towel sets were provided for 10 guests for the full week, so we had to buy extras. Something to be aware of, especially if you don’t want to do a bunch of laundry while on vacation.- Beds were not made when we arrived, and we had to search for sheets.- The second-floor room with two twin beds is not a true bedroom because there is no door from the hallway/stairwell. We bought dark curtains to help kids sleep because stairwell motion lights turned on at night.- The lower-level bedroom balcony door has no doorstop, despite the host warning of a strong wind tunnel. This can lead to drywall damage, so renters should secure the door.- We received several messages from the owner about complaints from a neighbor, who also approached the children in our group instead of speaking with adults. We addressed concerns with the kids, but if traveling with kids, I would be cautious, as it felt like we were under constant surveillance.

While we aim for 5-star experiences, we must clarify a few facts for future guests: ​Vacation Rental Expectations: We are a private vacation rental, not a hotel with daily housekeeping. We supply full linen sets per guest, plus a brand-new GE all-in-one washer/dryer that automatically washes and dries in one continuous cycle—no transferring wet clothes needed. ​HVAC & Climate: Our system runs on a preset schedule. Upon request, we remotely lowered the living area to 70°F during daytime hours. Despite this, the thermostat lockbox was physically bypassed and tampered with during your stay. ​Linens & Housekeeping: Beds are fully prepared by professional cleaners prior to arrival. You reported missing sheets two days after check-in. Upon turnover, a set of commercial twin sheets was missing, and a non-inventory personal sheet was left in its place. ​Property Damage: The patio door had two doorstops installed. The drywall hole was caused by the door being thrown open with excessive force. ​Child Safety: Neighbors stepped in purely out of concern when unsupervised children in your party were found crawling under the community's automated driveway gate—a serious safety risk. ​We take pride in maintaining a safe, top-tier home and wish you the best in your future travels.

Family vacation

Second time staying hear. Great sleeping arrangements, clean, kitchen has all needed items. Cons: outdoor grill is terrible, indoor temp was not what we would have preferred. Owner did decrease by 1 degree and that was not really enough- in fairness I didn’t ask again,elevator door won’t stay closed on its own and you had to hold it shut so it wouldn’t come loose and stop. Overall- great place, space is what we needed, safe area. Only 2 desires would be working grill and cooler indoor temp.

Perfect for a group of moms and kids

we stayed here as a group of mom friends and our kids (age 3-10) and had a blast. everyone had their own rooms to retreat to and put kids to bed, while having the kitchen and living room to gather together. the layout made it easy to put kids to bed then all hang out together. Easy walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, and a nice lake to walk around. The beach was a very short walk with easy access and the pool/outdoor rinse shower we're perfect. The only thing we missed was not having a large balcony, everything else was great!! The garage is large, the fridge in the garage was perfect, access was easy, and the owner was very communicative. the house was clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location

We had 2 families with 4 adults for this trip. This place is in the best location. Easy walk to the boardwalk but away from the crowds. The section of the beach was less crowded too. We enjoyed going to the ice cream shop a few nights which was across the street. The bedding and towels were soft with enough for each person. Each room was exactly as described. The room with the twin beds on the second floor was bright. It made it difficult for my adult son to sleep in. But we used the room dividers to help darken it some. Having 4 floors gave us a good workout if we didn’t want to use the elevator. The extra refrigerator in the garage was very helpful too. The only thing we missed was no real decks but that isn’t the owners, it is just how the building was designed. We used the pool each night after the beach which was nice. Overall would stay here again.

Location is great, the space is wonderful. Price was fair. Elevator a life saver! A few criticisms: Bar stools were odd and way too short for bar, so there was no sitting at bar...which was also very high. Kitchen had no crockpot and could stand more supplies. Doors to many bedrooms and bathrooms stuck, so were difficult to open quietly. Decorations were minimal. One twin bed mattress in each bedroom desperately needs replacing. Feet became dirty walking on hardwoods (so not sure they wer mopped), walls were dirty in kitchen, so new paint would help. Need to update info (paper rules were from 2018, no garage door opener or bag for linens), no dish towels for kitchen or hand towels for 1/2 bath, need trash can in garage, needs more storage for vacationers food stuff (I would suggest 2 large bakers rack in kitchen) . Den furniture a bit to minimal and uncomfortable. This place, because of location, pool and space has fantastic potential...just needs a little TLC. And as always, family time is priceless :-)

Let's do it again

VRBO: I fully do not understand. Be more specific. If I was reviewing a store I would have to name the store and its location -- so to review a particular unit I must say which unit in which building -- otherwise the review is meaningless and could be construed to be any unit in any building in any city in any state in any country. Please explain better what you don't want mentioned. ----------------------------- Where could we pack ten relatives for a family reunion? It had to be near the beach as eight of the ten were land-locked Midwesterners looking to dip their toes in the ocean. And two of them cannot do stairs. Waterview in Carolina Beach met all the difficult requirements and then some. Our rental of unit 109 racked up rave reviews from all the mid-westerners on at least four levels: LOCATION - an extremely SHORT walk to the sand and surf using low-traffic streets. UNIQUENESS - all of us are well-acquainted with horizontal apartments/condos, so spending a week in a vertical layout was something very new, made so easy with an elevator built into the unit. The couple that cannot do stairs was especially grateful for that convenience. ATTENTIVENESS - we had a few questions that the owner responded to in very quick order. AMENITIES - The unit and Waterview facilities are well equipped, with security features for a carefree week. While no place is 100% perfect, this surely came close - and the families are asking when could we do it again.

DO NOT RENT THIS CONDO FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

The condo was advertised with a washer and dryer. We stayed the two weeks without a dryer. The "clean" towels had pubic hairs on them and the sheets were dirty as well. The elevator doors come open while you are riding in it which causes the elevator to shut down. I was shut in for about 10 minutes with no air condition. I thought I was going to pass out. The owner claims that we were responsible for the folding accordion door for opening and causing the shut down. The night before we left, I was in the elevator by my self standing in the middle of the elevator when the accordion door opened and the elevator shut down between the 3rd and 4th floor. The next day I had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs to get my car loaded up. It was quite a task for a 70 year old man, let alone someone younger. The electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work and some of the lights didn't either. When I called to get things straightened out, all the owner would talk about was all the taxes he had to pay and for how much he had to pay to have repair people come to the condo. To top it off, the HOA president told our grandkids, six of them from ages 5 to 9 to stop making noise because she was working from home. They were shooting a ball in a basket ball net which was provided by the HOA. It is not a kid friendly association. You would do well to avoid this place.

In regard to your review, I understand that you were upset that the dryer had broke during your stay, but you have failed to comment on how I had refunded some money to you to compensate for the inconvenience. Also, you have failed to mention how prompt I was on getting a repair company out there to service the dryer, yet due to supply chain shortage, the part was not readily available. I have an excellent track record on responding back to all my guests and correct all issues brought to my attention. For the elevator incidents, thank you for exclaiming how large my property is. Your claim on an inoperable elevator has been partially stated in your review. The accordion door had been fully inspected by the repair company the first time and thus determined it was an operator failure and not a mechanical failure. I did not expense you on the first initial repair charge, and after discussing the matter to you to prevent further issues, you had purposely disabled the elevator again prior to your check-out. Per the rental agreement you had signed, I held the 2nd incident as your fault, and forward your account for the cost of the repair. Now the issue with the dirty towels, I am not sure how you determined it was actual pubic hair on them, but I do use a professional linen company. If there was an issue with the towels, I am sure you would have addressed them immediately and requested for new ones, yet you had not discussed them at all during your stay. As per the signed rental agreement, I have asked all guests during check-in to examine the premise and all items provided by me, the owner, are all clean and in good satisfactory condition. Bear in mind, I am very mindful of you and your family during your stay at my property. Please do the same and not disrespect my place of business. -Much appreciated, Owner

This was by far our favorite beach stay in the last couple of years. The condo is in walking distance to not only the beach, but also so many other things. The host was very responsive. The AC unit is managed by the host and while it was very comfortable on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor where the bedrooms are, it was really hot on the 4th floor in the evenings. We were able to message the host and get the temperature adjusted that way. Would definitely recommend staying here and would come back again.

Perfect Location!

This property has it all. Walking distance to beautiful Carolina Beach, the boardwalk, tons of shops and restaurants. The house layout is unique with 4 stories and an elevator provides convenient access for those who can't navigate staircases. There were spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, along with common areas to enjoy family meals and games. Bedrooms included ceiling fans and TVs. Wifi was adequate. Wai was responsive and friendly whenever I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Not what we thought are vacation would be!

We have been going to Kure/Carolina Beach for over 10 years. Love this area! We have stayed in this complex before with a different renter but needed a larger rental so we found this listing. The unit was in a nice area, close to beach, park and boardwalk. A few things we had issues with The house being controlled by owner and WiFi Door lock was reset by day three and code did not work for use to get into the unit. Door on deck did not lock so we used this door to come and go. Garage door was opened and closed by a app on phone that did not work all the time. Air conditioner was controlled by owner! Lock boxes were on each floor and the air was set at 73! That is hot at the beach and uncomfortable to sleep. Linens were included but the towels were rags and mix matched. We are glad we brought our own! Lights were on timers and you were asked not to unplug or change. In one of the bathroom there were eight lights but only four light bulbs. Each room had light bulbs missing! Not sure if it was due to saving money? Since the house was controlled by the owner we did not feel comfortable. We felt like we were being watched. There were some other issues but they were normal when renting. When we did reach out to the owner about the air he did turn the top floor down to 71 degrees. Then we noticed it was changed again when we got up. I had to reach out again and ask for the air to be turned down. On the third day my brother in law asked for the owners number and text him about the air in all the floors. We did not pay all this money to be hot on our vacation. The air was controlled a little bit better after that. We would think twice about renting this unit again!

Summer fun with family

Weather was great. Location was perfect. Elevator broke down but it was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. We all needed the exercise on the stairs. The fourth floor was large enough for eating and playing games.
