Villa With Large Pool And Stunning Views In Picturesque Margon Village

Charming 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Villa set in the heart of the Languedoc wine making region close to the historic town of Pezenas. In an elevated location with stunning views of surrounding vineyards and mountains front and back. Large open plan kitchen/dining room and separate double aspect lounge. Fabulous pool (9m x 5m) surrounded by large sunbathing patio and deck in south-facing garden and dining terrace.
The lounge and all bedrooms have very attractive vaulted beamed ceilings.
The villa is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. All linen and towels (not beach). Enough is left for the duration of your stay and our housekeepers will collect laundry once a week.
There is a washing machine and dishwasher provided for your use and powder/liquid is provided for both.
The kitchen is fully equipped and washing up liquid, cleaning products and cloths are also provided for your use. There is a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and milk left for your arrival. So no need to bring anything with you!

The villa is 10 minutes from the historic town of Pezenas and 30 minutes from the local beaches and seaside amenities.
Margon is a small quiet village with a family run restaurant open six days a week. There is also a bread delivery by van six days a week from the bakery in nearby Pouzolles. With Roujan being the nearest town for groceries.
The area is perfect for walking or cycling with beautiful countryside scenery to enjoy.

Stunning views from a luxurious and well equipped villa

We loved this villa! We were a family of 4 adults from 33-62 in age plus one toddler. The garden and pool area were fantastic, with loads of interesting space, and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. I particularly loved that there were so many different seating areas in and around the villa and pool. Great for a bit of 'me' time! The villa itself was spotless and had everything you could possibly need to live as at home. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Supermarkets and shops were within easy drive as well as some nice little restaurants. There was a whole raft of information in the villa to help us choose our days out, but we particularly liked the beaches at Sete , and Pezenas, of course. Margon village was lovely and the little chateau and gardens were delightful. Only downside to this holiday were the mozzies, which were out in force day and night and we two ladies suffered horribly - but I gather it has been a bad year for them! A big thank you to the owners whose communication was exemplary.

Une maison très bien conçue, un grand plan de travail et beaucoup de rangements dans la cuisine; une belle terrasse et des espaces extérieurs agréables, la piscine est d'une belle dimension et toute la famille s'y est baignée avec délectation compte tenu de la chaleur. La vue dégagée est un atout majeur pour cette maison .

Magnifique séjour dans cette villa au calme idéalement située. Villa très propre et tres bien équipée. Literie top, ventilateurs dans toutes les chambres, piscine spacieuse et extérieurs très agréables. (Salon d’extérieur, transats en suffisance, parasols,…) Très bons contacts avec les propriétaires. Cette villa cochait toutes les cases et nous n’avons eu aucune déception.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, der Pool mit Aussicht auf die Weinberge ist grandios. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein, und es ist sehr ruhig. Einziges Manko es gibt leider keine Klimaanlage und zum Strand sind es doch einige Kilometer mit dem Auto. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief absolut reibungslos. Vielen Dank für die tolle Woche in Margon.

Very well equipped villa in charming location

Margon is a picturesque village with vineyards all around and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Pezenas is not far away with a good selection of restaurants and historic centre. We five adults had a lovely holiday which was in no small part due to the accommodation - the villa is very comfortable and well equipped and some days it was difficult to drag ourselves away from the poolside with its stunning views! Highly recommended.

Wonderful memories of Margon

We have enjoyed many holidays in France over a 34 year period. The last two summers spent in this lovely villa in Margon with our family including grandchildren have been amongst the most memorable. David and Judith are so helpful and friendly and have provided everything we could have wished. Only addition perhaps would be air conditioning to deal with those very hot summer nights. Any chance David !!The views from the pool are quite stunning. We have not been able to rebook for a third year running as my husband is awaiting ankle replacement surgery very soon. However who knows hopefully 2018. How we envy those spending 2017 in Margon and wish them the happy times we enjoyed!

Fantastic Villa

Fantastic villa with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and comfortable villa. We were two families and there was plenty of space for us all. Very helpful and accommodating owners. Excellent area for cycling. We would certainly recommend this property.

Excellent villa in quiet location

Lovely villa with excellent facilities and marvellous views. Good local supermarket. Pezenas is in easy reach with an excellent Carrefour and lots of restaurants and antique shops. Beach within easy reach. Meze is worth a visit with lots of fish restaurants and lovely beaches at Valras Plage. The owners were very efficient and friendly. All in all great holiday, highly recommended.

Fantastic holiday in this beautiful villa

We were a party of 7 ages ranging from 5 to 73 years! The villa is truly lovely, very spacious and extremely well equipped. During the heatwave the pool was a boon and the views from that area are superb. The gas barbecue was first rate and well used. David and Judith were very efficient ,friendly and helpful. Everything lived up to expectations and we have very happy memories of our stay there.

Villa in Margon

This is a fabulous villa in a great location and we would definitely recommend it. The details of the property on the website are highly accurate. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. It is very clean and well maintained and the owners provided excellent customer service. The pool is great and regularly cleaned. The views from the villa across the pool are wonderful. It is also a good area for seeing a wide variety of bird life. Margon, where the villa is situated, is a small and quiet village. It is about 40 minutes drive from Beziers so a car is essential. Margon has an imposing chateau and its gardens are well worth visiting. There is a well stocked supermarket and petrol station in Roujon which is only a 10 minute drive away. ‘La Belle Lurette' pizza restaurant in Margon is nearby and is good for takeaways. In terms of places to visit, Pezenas is an attractive town about a 30 minute drive away with many shops and eating places for tourists amongst its narrow streets. The Saturday market is well worth a visit. The Cave Cooperative at Alignan-du-Vent is a good option to buy local wines at very reasonable prices. As a base for visiting the local area, the villa is very well placed. The weird rock formations at Cirque-de-Moreze are worth visiting but make sure you have stout shoes. Carcassonne is fabulous and unsurprisingly very busy. The beaches at Sete are safe and sandy and there are panoramic views of the coast to the north and south from the top of Mont St Clair in Sete. St Guilhem-le-Desert is a quaint medieval village and the nearby Les Grottes des Clamouse are spectacular and worth the guided tour.
