Annie’s Place is an amazing, four bedroom townhouse which is sure to please everyone! It is beautifully furnished, with just steps to the pool and less than 100 yards to the beach!
This property is located about a block away from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, restaurants and watering holes and new boardwalk. The complex swimming pool is located just outside the backdoor, and is open throughout the Summer Season to take a dip and cool off. Visit the Farmer’s Market located at the pier during the week for locally grown foods.
Level 1: Queen Master Suite with TV/DVD and has a private bathroom. The garage has been converted into the "Board Room" which offers TV/DVD, has a Foosball table and a queen sleeper sofa. **Please note that this room does not have an air vent for A/C or heat**
Level 2: Kitchen, Living and Dining area accommodate 9 people comfortably. TV/DVD, queen sleeper sofa as well as a twin sleeper sofa. Great deck that overlooks the pool and a slight ocean view. There is also a half bathroom located on this level.
Level 3: The Queen master suite has a full bathroom with a double vanity and a recently updated beautiful custom tile and glass shower . There are two more bedrooms, both offering queen beds and a TV on this level. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom which has also had a custom tile and glass shower update.
There is No Smoking and NO Pets are allowed at this property.
Linens and towels are not provided, but are available to rent for a reasonable fee.
Departure cleaning is included. Kure Beach is located south of Carolina Beach, just 15 miles south of Wilmington and north of Fort Fisher. It is home to a variety of charming sights and activities for the whole family! The Kure Beach Fishing Pier is famously known as one of the oldest piers on the Atlantic coast. Just a few steps from the pier, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants. Kids can enjoy the nearby pirate ship playground at the Ocean Front Park and Pavilion. A little further down the road is the Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Besides an extensive display of marine life, there is currently an animatronic dinosaur exhibit and an exotic butterfly arboretum in the spring. Take a walk on the quarter-mile long trail at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site where you can view bunkers, canons, and monuments from the Civil War. Beach-goers are encouraged to check out the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area trail along the marsh to view the natural beauty of the area.
Kure Beach is Pleasure Island’s best kept secret, tucked away at the end of the island! Every other Friday night, there is a free, outdoor concert at Fort Fisher State Park.
Take the Southport Ferry across the Cape Fear River to the quaint little fishing town of Southport for additional dining, shopping and sightseeing.
Located in the heart of Carolina Beach is the famous and recently renovated boardwalk, featuring a variety of shops, restaurants,bars, and games. Be sure to stop at Britt’s Donuts for one of the most sought-after treats in the area! During peak season, there is an amusement park complete with games and rides for all ages! Don’t miss“Fireworks by the Sea” at the boardwalk every Thursday night, where locals and tourists come together to see the sky light up over the ocean! Every Sunday night, there’s a free movie by the lake. Just bring your beach chair and watch a family film under the stars.
