This impressive modern villa is the height of luxury with every room facing south and has breathtaking views of the Atlantic. It has is beautifully furnished with a large private heated pool and is situated in a convenient but quiet location. Relax and enjoy the panoramic views in the hot tub on the roof terrace, soak up some Algarvian sunshine from one of the plentiful sunbeds around the large south-facing swimming pool in the contemporary garden or sit back in the sizeable shady outside dining areas. The more energetic can enjoy a game of table tennis or a stroll along the beautiful cliff top paths. The large middle terrace features an external BBQ and bar area with options for eating in the shade around the huge dining table or in the sunshine around the BBQ seating area. The internal rooms are very spacious and furnished to an extremely high spec. The villa is beautifully light and airy with all rooms well lit and air conditioned with individual control units. There is a large upstairs living area with plenty of comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, ceiling mounted fans, digital TV and a central sound system. There is also a log burning stove should evening get chilly! The super modern kitchen/dining room opens out onto the outside BBQ terrace with stunning views. The 5 bedrooms are extremely spacious, light and air-conditioned and all with its own luxurious marble bathrooms. All the double beds are super king sized. The roof terrace has amazing sea views together with a hot tub and bar area. The villa has been designed with family and friends of all ages in mind from the easy access steps in the pool for toddlers and light flashing hot tub for teenagers!

Villa is amazing. Photos do not do it justice We booked it for a family holiday. Rooms are all spacious, well appointed with own bath and air con. Common areas the same including outdoor dining for at least 14. Location is in a quiet neighbourhood of similar properties with sea views and within walking distance of Luz and a short drive to Lagos which is well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

Ultimate relaxation!

Wonderful villa, very spacious and well equipped. The pool was a lovely temperature with comfortable loungers. Slow ambles into Luz for the odd cocktail or two! Thanks for the recommendation of Boaty’s . . . now a family favourite!

We loved our time in Praia de Luz! The villa was incredible and in a fantastic location. The layout of the villa is so smart and was perfect for our group of 9. We loved the pool, dining out on the patio and we cooked some great meals on the bbq with incredible views! Thank you! We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely place.

The photos dont do this place justice. The rooms are all huge, there was so much room for the kids play (when they wernt in the pool). The views were gorgeous out to the sea from the balconies. We didnt want to come home.

Fantastic Villa

We were two families with children ranging 15-9 years old holidaying together and this villa was just perfect for our group. Loads of space, the pool was a great size. Hottub was a real bonus. It was great to have more than one option of where to sit/eat and the kitchen was very well equipped including with lots of plasticware appropriate for around the pool. Amanda was incredibly helpful as were the Property Managers when needed. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa to other large groups.

A superb, very spacious, upscale villa with beautiful views of the ocean

I have rented many villas on VRBO and have found none better than this one:-The villa is very spacious – all rooms, twice the size of comparable rentals-Large, attractive pool, stays warm because of nighttime cover-Beautiful views-Tastefully furnished-Kitchen is well-equipped, huge amount of counter space, and the size of most living rooms (only the microwave seemed outdated). The refrigerator is a huge, modern, US-style refrigerator with an ice dispenser and excellent controls, and has enough room to store for food and drink for ten people-Needed no AC because of excellent air circulation -House must have been expensive to build because construction is very high quality-Outdoor dining table overlooking the pool can comfortably seat 10 people and is sheltered from the wind-Property manager was very helpful the few times we needed her-Attractive neighborhood-I will give it an unqualified and enthusiastic recommendation to any friend visiting the Algarve!

Fab place for a large family holiday!

Great villa with room for eveyone. We were 9 people and 3 generations and one of the best elements was the ability to each have our own space inside and out. The pool is gorgeous and kept 2 little ones busy for a whole two weeks. Lots of space to eat as a family outside, and the BBQ was a real bonus. the kitchen is well equipped although be aware that there is nothing in the way of a welcome/starter or basic condiments pack apart from a bottle of bubbly (very lovely). So be prepared to but all you need for your arrival. The walk into Luz was an easy 25 mins along a scenic cliff path. The walk into Burgau was a more challenging 40 minutes and not sutiable for the little ones. There is a wonderful Pizza restaurant on the main road which you can walk to across smaller paths avoiding trafic. For shopping and other restuarants you really need a car - or use Uber when you want to have a drink!

A beautifully appointed villa, well designed and meeting all requirements for a family holiday.

We are a family of 10,ranging in age from 2 years to 65. Villa Lusitana provided a luxurious environment for a special family holiday. It is cleverly designed to provide 5 sea facing bedrooms, all with en suites, and a variety of seating areas, both inside and outside.The kitchen is very well appointed and we used water solely from the American style fridge. Great quality. We particularly loved the pool and the attractive planting around it. We enjoyed table tennis, the hot tub, and the gas barbecue. It was a bonus to find pool toys and a pump to inflate them for the kids. The air conditioning was a great option to have. Some practical comments. The nearest beach is at Luz,which is a reasonable 25 minutes walk, longer with young children, along a seaside path. Burgau is a longer walk and more accessible by car. We used Yellowfish for airport transfers from Faro. Very efficient service. We also hired a car from Luzcar in Lagos,which was very straightforward. The nearest supermarket in Luz,Baptista,provided all our daily requirements. Overall,we had a five star experience....and that includes the fabulous night skies we viewed from the villa. Un merveilleux séjour en famille

Nos vacances en famille ont été un véritable succès. La maison est grande, bien équipée et située dans un beau quartier avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. La propriétaire et la gestionnaire ont répondu rapidement à nos questions et tout s’est bien passé. Nous espérons pouvoir y retourner un jour.

Tolles Haus mit schönem Blick aufs Meer und großem Pool

Wir waren drei Familien und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt an der Algarve. Das Haus war für eine große Gruppe (13 Personen) ideal. Die Kinder liebten den Pool sowie Whirlpool und die Erwachsenen die Veranda mit herrlichem Blick. Alles war sehr gepflegt, die Küche groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Superb villa

This is a beautiful, very spacious villa. Bedrooms are huge and so much room around the pool . Beautiful decor but still feels comfortable. We were extended family of 8 and it could easily accommodate a bigger party. Jane, the manager , always on hand if any minor problems crop up so thanks to her but also the owners for allowing us to rent this lovely villa.

A spectacular place!

The house is wonderful for a family. 11 of us in three generations all enjoyed different aspects of this lovely property. Places to sit in sun and shade. Big table in protected porch where all could eat together. Refreshing pool (children in it constantly when we weren’t at a great beach - the western ones gorgeous and worth the 45 minute drive). With views to the ocean it is located between two small towns each with beaches - Burgau and Luz accessed by cliff walk or road). Good restaurants in each as well as places to shop for food and supplies. We had amazing weather to add to our good fortune in staying in Villa Lusitana.

A great week at Villa Lucitana

Excellent very well equipped villa. Kitchen particularly good. Bedrooms as large as they look in the photos and comfortable beds. Supportive but discreet villa manager. Fast responses to any questions asked prior to arrival.

We had an incredible family holiday at the villa. Throughout the booking process Amanda was very helpful and accommodating and Jane the local manager was there to help with anything we needed on-site. The pool is fantastic, not too deep so great for the kids to play without any worry. The rooms are huge, much bigger than the pictures suggest, and with air conditioning all through the house the week was pure luxury. Agree with one of the reviews that the place is truly “baller”. Great location and be sure to follow Amanda’s local recommendations guide and book early. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Skønt hus med ALT du behøver

Vi var 3 familier med ialt 13 heraf 7 teenagers. De 5 soveværelser med lækre bad og toilet samt det store køkken og udendørsspise sted var genialt. Poolen lækker og godt sol område.

Great Property

This is a beautiful villa - spacious, well equipped, very comfortable and with lovely sea views, it would easily accommodate 13 people. It has large comfortable bedrooms and a lovely bright sitting and kitchen area. The kitchen was also very well equipped. We loved the airy terrace above the pool with a dining table for 14 people and a great BBQ area. The pool area was very spacious with more than enough sun loungers for 12 people, the pool was great - it was heated and had an electric cover. Whilst we would recommend a car, it is possible to walk into Praia da Luz - its approximately 20 minutes walk. Ubers and taxi are also very easy to arrange in the area. We spent three wonderful weeks in this villa in July 2020 and would definitely rent it again!

Fantastic villa

We had a lovely week here. Ages ranged from 88 to 4 months. Villa was extremely well equipped. We don’t drive so we had to rely on local Uber taxis to bring shopping back and for going out for dinner but that presented no problems. Pool was great and the electric cover made life easy. Walks to prai de luz across the cliff tops wasn’t as easy as expected (not with two prams anyway) but we all had a great time.

Fantastic Villa

The villa was true to its description. It had tons of space. We were 10 people and could have easily fit another family. The pool was clean and perfect for kids to enjoy. We vacation every summer and we often use rental properties and I would rate this one as one of my favorites. I do suggest to get a car otherwise it’s a 30 min walk to the town of Luz.

Perfect for multigenerational family holiday

A superb well equipped property with stunning views. Very spacious and comfortably furnished with an extremely well equipped kitchen. We found Jane and Leonor to be very helpful when present. We would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing family break.

Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic

Absolutely superb villa, perfect for our party of 6 adults and 5 children ( aged 14 months to 11 years) all rooms are huge and very well decorated. The children loved the pool and the shallow end suited all, lots of kids toys, water guns and blow up paddling pool were used every day. The photos on the website do not do this property justice.

I live in England with my husband and have two grown up children and a labrador. We fell in love with this property and bought it in 2014. We love the sea views, beaches and the fact it is so close to some great golf courses.

The location of Villa Lusitana sold it to us straight away, as it has the enviable position of being both in the countryside and near to Praia da Luz. From the villa it is a 20 minutes stroll into Luz along a picturesque trail along the coast or less than a five minute drive. On the other side of the villa is the beautiful fishing village of Burgau with its steep cobbled streets and fabulous restaurants.
