This corner unit in the Aqua Pacific Monarch Hotel is on the 20th floor. The views are great and the location of the hotel is in the heart of Waikiki. From the entrance of the hotel it is 500 feet to the sand of Waikiki Beach. My 87-year-old mother used to walk it in 10 minutes. I got the condo so my parents could visit each year but they no longer can make the long journey to Hawaii. So, I rent the condo out for others to visit. I hope you enjoy your stay if you choose their vacation condominium, but please respect it as a home-away-from-home.
There are many restaurants in the area and the hotel is close to nightlife spots and shopping. The hotel has a recreation room on the top floor with views in all directions. The roof-top pool and hot tub also have great views. The common areas of the hotel are neat and clean. You have access to all the amenities of the hotel but you don’t have to pay the hotel’s activity fee. You won’t be able to get beach towels at the front desk but I do have beach towels in the condo. I pay for Wi-Fi in the room, there’s a small but functional kitchen with everything you need to save a little money by eating some of your meals in the condo, all linens and towels are provided. Of course, since it’s offered at such a low price there’s no maid service provided.
Ask me about parking. The Pacific Monarch is a three-star hotel and not right on the beach. There are more luxurious places to stay but A LOT more expensive. There are cheaper places, too, but why not have an affordable ocean view in a good location?
