Lovely house in a really convenient location for travelling around Cornwall, the house has everything you need for cooking in the kitchen and lovely ensuite rooms. Fiona and Mark were lovely hosts and we'd definitely stay again!

Everything you'll need - perfect!

My three brothers and I had a wonderful week at Truck House. It was perfect for us. Mark and Fiona have equipped the cottage with pretty much everything you'd need and my expectations were exceeded over and over. The garden is lovely and we hung out a lot in the conservatory and kitchen. I absolutely recommend this place if you're wanting a quiet place to stay while exploring the area.

Wonderful

Truck House was a wonderful escape for our family week away. We had everything we could wish for and despite the rain this week we all felt relaxed and wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Fabulous holiday!

Perfect for family get together

We rented Truck House for a family holiday/celebration with our adult children and their partners. The house is perfect for adults with each room having its own ensuite/bathroom and is in a great location with every home comfort you can think of. Communication from the owners is excellent and I hope we are able to stay here again one day.

Lovely accommodation in a great setting

The property was presented to a very high standard with everything that you might need during your stay. It was spacious and comfortable and a home from home. It was also quiet and tranquil with no intrusive noise from neighbours etc. We only had one query when we first arrived which was promptly and efficiently dealt with. We also liked the central location in Probus - which made pretty much everywhere easily accessible, hence we visited Newquay, Truro, Falmouth, Bodmin etc during our holiday. Attractions like the Lost Gardens of Heligan were not far away. I would recommend this holiday property

Great house, great facilities and ideally located in Cornwall for both north and south

Being a regular visitor to Cornwall, this was a move out of the comfort zone location wise. However on arrival the character of the house instantly kicked in and got better when inside. Facilities were great and all eight people and Martha the dog had fun. Would I go back? A resounding yes. I would even consider the small adjoining property if for only me and my wife.

Very nice house, extremely well furnished and decorated.

Owners Mark and Fiona very welcoming. We were a party of 6 adults (3 couples) and very much appreciated the space - nice lounge and dining room (not that we used the latter, spent too much time enjoying the local restaurants!), and appreciated the superb en-suite bathrooms to the 3 main bedrooms. Situated in a nice quiet area, although this does mean you definitely need a car! Hint - make sure you are not trying to get through Truro at peak times, the traffic is a nightmare! But we could not have been happier with Truck House, unreservedly reccomended!

Cornish born and bred, both Fi and I have a passion for the beautiful County of Cornwall and love nothing better than sharing our knowledge of go-to destinations and secret spots with our guests.

​Truck House has been our family home for over 24 years, and when our two daughters flew the nest, we couldn’t bring ourselves to part with it - so, we decided to share our lovely home with others. Over the past 5 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting guests from all corners of the world. So enjoyable has it been, we have now expanded the business with the addition of the Coach House Studio, Kara Cottage and Winslow Cottage.

When time allows and when not hosting guests, we love nothing more than jumping in our campervan with our two springer spaniels, Belle and Bryher, in search of perfect waves and wildlife. Cornwall has so much to offer that we rarely stray from her shores but, on occasion, we do and in recent years have visited Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. We look for something special from the places we stay in and know our visitors will too.

We want our guests to have a wonderful experience, to relax, unwind and feel at home. We are always striving to improve and welcome your feedback to help us grow. So, live life to the full and enjoy Luxury Cornish Escapes!

Beautifully refurbished former Coaching Inn dating from the 1830's. Rural location in the heart of Cornwall close to Truro and within easy travelling distance of both coasts, Newquay Airport and The Eden Project.

Four double bedrooms, 3 ensuite, with one that can be configured as a twin. Great family accommodation with room for up to eight adults with plenty of room for cots in the larger bedrooms. Established, enclosed gardens to the rear with ample parking at the front of the property. A wonderful place to stay for you and your furry friends .
