Some Comments From our Guest Book:

We had never been to this part of SC before and we just fell in love with it. Your house is so beautiful, cozy & comfortable. Thanks for sharing it with us. June 23, 2006

What a surprise when we walked into your cozy cabin! We have enjoyed it so much. The lake is peaceful. Hope to return soon!! Memorial Day Weekend 2007

WOW! We did not expect this - the photos on the website does not justify this cozy 'shabby-chic' cabin. Very, very clean and organized so well! Sept. 15, 2007

What a cute, cozy little getaway you have here! So quiet and peaceful. The guys had a great time fishing from the dock. Thanks for making our stay here so nice! March 22, 2008

We enjoyed our stay very much. We all enjoyed swimming and canoeing. As for the cabin, it is quite lovely and peaceful. Everyone enjoyed the view from all the windows. June 22 2008

We had a wonderful, relaxing 11 year anniversary trip. The cabin is so peaceful and cozy. All of our needs and desires were met. We loved the dock and swam everyday and my husband fished for hours. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make yummy meals each day. We love this cabin and plan to return each year! Thank you! June 25, 2008

My family and I had a wonderful vacation. We swam everyday off the dock and caught ton of fish and even a couple of HUGE catfish. This little cabin has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation and the lake is very beautiful!! July 22, 2008

We enjoyed three days at the lake.it was peaceful and very relaxing! You have everything you need and more. We visited the State Parks and did fishing off the dock . We used the paddle boat and took lots of pictures. If you want a place to relax this is it i slept like a baby! You are near many state

parks so go and enjoy! I caught 13 fish but put them back for the next one!

Cute House Right on the Water

  • 5 of 5

This little house was nicely decorated and comfortable for my three kids and me. It was well maintained and clean inside and out. The kitchen was supplied with everything you might need to prepare meals. We spent most of our time swimming in the lake. My daughters had a great time jumping off the dock and practing diving. The cabin is about an hour's drive from Greenville, where we spent a day at the wonderful Children's Museum of the Upstate. This is a great place for a low key but fun family vacation, solo retreat, or romantic getaway.

The perfect place for my family!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place for a week of rest and relaxation! This house was perfect for my family of 3. It was roomy but cozy and had everything we needed to stay cool, comfortable and feel like we were at home. It was the perfect location for exploring the area, including Devils Fork State Park and Lake Jocassee. Our evenings were spent grilling hot dogs and burgers, and relaxing on the porch enjoying the beautiful lake view. The guys fished and caught several bream, a small mouth bass, and even one good sized large mouth bass! My son really enjoyed the boat! Thanks for an excellent vacation and we will definitely return next year. There is much more exploring to do in that beautiful area.

Very cozy, romantic and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We just got home from a 2 couples weekend getaway with another couple close friends of ours and the 4 of us stayed in this little cabin. It was better than we expected. Very peaceful and gorgeous views with everything we needed to relax and enjoy a getaway weekend. It was Very clean and cutely decorated in French country vintage style decor with an old time cozy feel and located Right on the water. We Highly recommend it. I wish there was a way i could upload our pictures we took from this place. I have some gorgeous images that this website doesn't even show.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the great review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your time there. What a great way you described the cabin.! I may need to change my description and add yours. We have worked on improving the cabin for our guest and plan to do even more in 2017 and of course would love for you to stay with us again. All the best to you, Thelma and Siebelt

Our home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, son, and I have stayed at the lake house twice now. We can't wait to get back this Summer. We have family in the Greenville area, so this is where we like to spend our vacation time. Thelma and Siebelt are absolutely a pleasure to rent from, and have thought of everything! The beach used to be our go-to spot, but not since we found, and fell in love with Whitewater Lake. This has become my place for relaxation, family time, and peace. Our beagle loves it here, too!
