60' sandy lakefront, this 1/2 acre lot is spacious with 4000+ feet of flat lawn

On the sunny side of the lake, this pristine property boasts 4 bedrooms (3 queen, 1 double), fully updated bath and a spacious 10x45 deck. With an expansive dock and boat slip, 4 kayaks + needed accessories and a spacious sandy beach, Lake Samish just beyond your front door. The lake includes a tournament slalom ski course, fishing and an incredible array of wildlife. Summer water temperatures reach into the high 60's for cool, refreshing dips.

The house is fully equipped with the owners staying somewhat regularly between rentals, meaning things like basic spices, condiments etc. are on-site. The cupboards are reasonably stocked with the staples. The utensils, dishes and pots and pans were purchased Costco new in 2016.

Please note that the property caretakers live in the daylight basement. These tenants have their own entrance that is separate from the main house offered in this listing. In addition, the dock is also shared with our neighbors to the south.

About Sarah Hall

I am the property manager for Seven Cedars LLC. The LLC owners are my wife, Cathy and our two nephews, Matt and Kevin. The property has been in the family since the early 1960's When it was first developed by Cathy's parents. We inherited it recently and have taken care to make it a jewel for short term stays for our guests.

Why Sarah Hall chose Northwest & Islands

Peace and tranquility describes what I find most appealing about the setting. Looking out over the shimmering lake simply can't be beat. There is a vast array of birds including resident Eagles and cranes as well a beaver or two just down Friday Creek. A silky quiet kayak ride down the creek is a special event we do most every time up in early summer. After that the travel down the steam is more challenging due to lower water levels and lily pads.

Great View

I stayed here during the weekend of my daughters wedding. We catered the wedding and the kitchen was perfect for this. I have used vacation rentals for years when traveling for work. The location was great, the house was clean and very well kept. I would love to stay there again when I just on vacation and enjoy the lake.

Best vacation rental EVER!!!!

We were amazed with the meticulous details. They thought of everything from a garlic press to a toddler bed and pack n play. I don't think a thing was missed. The lake was stunning and the house was beautiful. It felt like home. It was truly amazing. Sunsets and kayaking at Seven Cedars will forever be in our memories and hearts. Thank you so much ! We are still in awe

Amazing lake house, family friendly and only a short drive to Bellingham

We had an amazing time staying in this well maintained and cared for home that has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the kayaks and sitting out on the deck morning and evening. Friday was sunny and warm - we were so lucky to spend it here by the lake. There's a beautiful view of the lake from the house and deck, friendly neighbors and it's a very private and quiet place. Thanks so much for letting us stay here. We loved it and a place we would like to come back to and recommend to others.

Great time

What a great place. Another couple stayed with us at Seven Cedars for three nights. It could have easily accommodate two more couples, even with just one bathroom, which is a large, two sink bathroom. Everything you could need is there as it is a very well stocked home. Wonderful, large deck with views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We will be staying there again.

The dock is co-owned by the property to the south. In addition, the property caretaker lives in the daylight basement. She has a totally separate living space. Common areas include the pier, dock, beach and the flat 60' x 60' grassy area between the bulkhead and first raised planting area. Parking in the carport area is also shared. The caretaker and VRBO renters are allowed two cars each down by the house.
