Overview:
A modern 4 bedroom (sleeps 6) holiday property located on the Wild Atlantic Way in the popular village of Roundstone. The house boasts a relaxing seaside location while still being very close to local bars and restaurants. The white sandy beaches of the world famous Dogs Bay and Gurteen Beaches are just 2km away. Sea Fishing and Boat tours are available from the Harbour adjacent to the cottage. Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are just a short drive away. Roundstone village provides lots of places to eat and drink and its shops will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday. Local activities include sea angling, lake and river fishing, walking trails, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more. Ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while still being within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and a short drive from many activities and attractions. Great value rates all year round.

Facilities:
4 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. The property offers 4 bedrooms (two with en-suite bathrooms), kitchen, dining area, living room and two bathrooms. The accommodation is situated over 3 levels, with two flights of stairs internally.
Ground Floor: The ground floor includes kitchen/dining area and a large spacious bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment including electric kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, oven and hob. A washing machine and dryer are also in place. The ground floor bedroom is a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and electric shower. All rooms offer harbour and sea views.
First Floor: The first-floor accommodation includes a spacious modern living room, a single bedroom, and a bathroom. The living room offers wonderful views across the harbour to Inishnee Island and is very well furnished with leather sofas, large screen multi-channel TV and electric coal effect fire. The bathroom includes bath, WC, sink, and shower over bath. The single bedroom has sea views and has a 4ft bed, ideally suited to one adult.
Second Floor: The second floor offers 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom on the second floor includes WC, sink and shower cubicle. The bedrooms include a single bedroom and a double en-suite bedroom with WC, electric shower and sink. Both bedrooms on this floor offer harbour, village and sea views. Oil fired central heating throughout property.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Short breaks available. Electricity & Heating is included in rental price. No pets.

Very helpful from start of the week to the end , house lovely and very clean, even have tea facilities waiting for us on arrival , amazing location right on Main Street and couldn’t recommend it highly enough , loved our stay and will definitely be back Cheers guys

The house is perfect for a few nights in the village. It's warm, secure, comfortable & has everything you need. It's less than a minute's walk to the nearest pub and the host is friendly and helpful.

Clean home and beautiful location on harbor with great views. Location of town was a bit more than we anticipated away from Galway. Difficult driving to get to location and we were there late September: many places were closed for the season. Nice check-in website and we were met personally by someone who checked up in.

Perfect location

Can't beat this location on the main road through Roundstone. The harbor views are spectacular. The accommodations were suitable. The beds were not the most comfortable and we did struggle a bit with the hot water when bathing the kids. But overall it was a great stay for our family. Host was great!

Ideally located in the beautiful harbour town of Roundstone. Within close walking distance to local shops and restaurants. Only 5 minutes drive from Gurteen beach and less than 10 minutes to Dogs Bay. Pet and child friendly accommodation!

Fantastic House, Ideal for a family, Great Location

We had a lovely stay in Roundstone. The house was very well equipped and was spotless. The layout of the accommodation suited us perfectly too. We were delighted with its location in the heart of the village and the views were fabulous. Paddy was very welcoming and had all the required Covid 19 notices and equipment in place when we arrived. We will definately be back for another holiday in Roundstone and will contact you to make a booking of this or another property in the location.

The house is in a great location. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. There is no dishwasher but this did not prove to be a problem. Don't hesitate to recommend it. It was lovely and clean.

Perfect location with fantastic views.

This is a 3 story 'cottage' on the main Street in Roundstone, a perfect location overlooking the harbour and with fantastic views from living room and every bedroom. Clean, spacious and very comfortable, but some areas (the bathrooms in particular - (there are 4)) could do with a little TLC. Small shops/supermarket and cafes are close at hand and O'Dowd's Seafood restaurant is only a few steps away, with the Shamrock pub (with Wifi) only a very little further. The owner, Paddy, is very helpful and friendly and it's certainly well worth staying there. We had a very enjoyable week.

Sehr geräumiges schönes Häuschen direkt am Hafen - trotzdem absolut ruhig!

Sehr netter Vermieter, das Haus lässt in seiner Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen. 1 min Fußweg zum Ortskern mit Shops und Pubs. Parken direkt vor dem Haus, 5 min mit dem Auto zu zwei wunderschönen Stränden. Heizung des Hauses super, nach 5 min ist das Haus warm! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Thank you!

ROUNDSTONE COTTAGE 236

Roundstone Cottage 236 is a beautiful, and seems to be newly renovated, 3 floor apartment with a lovely view. The cottage consists of most essentials needed for a good stay. There is 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, of which the bathrooms are well equipped with lovely showers, which are sparkly clean and comfortable. Wifi and a dishwasher would have been great to have. We loved the little back terrace and the view of the mountainous area, so a table and chairs to sit there and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the peacefulness of it all would be lovely. We would recommend that when planning your trip to Roundstone, which is a lovely, quaint little town and very much worth the visit, especially the little harbour, Gurteen and Dog’s Bay beaches and surrounding areas in Connemara, make sure you buy groceries on your way there in Galway or in Clifden, as there is not much in Roundstone itself. We bought groceries at the Supervalu in Clifden and it was a good, well stocked shop. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage tremendously and would gladly recommend it. Thank you for a lovely holiday! The house is in a very good location, however there could be a lot attention to detail and comfort. Things such a towel rails, somewhere to hang coats, pictures / soft furnishings were missing and made the place lack any homely or loving feeling.

Have been coming to Roundstone for over 40yrs. House great location, very clean. Would be great if it had a dishwasher. Also blackout blinds/curtains on windows as extremely bright from about 4/5am
