Grand villa with fantastic views to the Mediterranean Sea

Located in one of the best areas of La Herradura, the property invites you to enjoy the surroundings and relax as soon as you enter. The villa of 300m2 is situated on a private plot of 1300m2, with lawn garden, tropical and Mediterranean trees (palm trees, orange trees, mangoes, lemon trees, etc.), and a large swimming pool, all with great privacy.
The house overlooks two streets with private parking at each entrance, is divided into two floors and consists of 4 bedrooms with double beds, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living-dining rooms.
Just down the stairs from the main entrance, we find the entrance gate, which introduces us squarely in the villa. The first floor is divided into three heights; In the first we find two bedrooms, one with bathroom included, and a separate bathroom; The second height consists of the main kitchen and a bedroom with terrace and bathroom included; In the third height is the dining room, the lounge and a large terrace.
From the outside you access the ground floor of the villa, where there is a one bedroom apartment, kitchen with living room and bathroom. This area directly leads through large windows to a large terrace where the pool is located, a barbecue area, garden and sun loungers.
The situation of the house and its construction allow a lot of light to enter all the rooms and enjoy the wonderful views at any time of the day.

An incredible property with stunning views over La Herradura, and a number of terraces to enjoy it from. A perfect base to explore the area - with water sports and boat rental in La Herradura and great restaurants nearby in Nerja.

We had an amazing time at this villa. It was stunning!! The views were breath taking. Everything was beyond expectations, the villa had everything we needed for our month long stay. Ivan was very helpful, easy to contact and he gave us some suggestions for places to eat. He kept us informed of any visits that were scheduled for example the gardener, pool cleaner etcThe location is very good within easy distance of several restaurants, beach bars and sights. A car was really useful for us as the walk into town is steep.We can't wait to go back to this place.

The views from this property were breathtaking. The accuracy of the details on Vrbo were spot on and the villa was resourced superbly. Ivan was very quick to respond to any queries and it was so relaxing. You will not be disappointed

The property is very nice, with outstanding views, in a quiet neighbourhood. There’s easy parking for 2 cars. The villa has 3 bedrooms (two with ensuite) and 3 bathrooms upstairs, kitchen and huge open common area, There’s a separate apartment with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and family room downstairs. The kitchens are well appointed. The pool is fairly big, water temperature pleasant in the morning, warmer in the afternoon (we stayed mid to end June). Note: car is a must. There’s some stairs climbing involved - ok for anyone without serious mobility issues. We certainly recommend the property and would love to go back one day.

The perfect vacation home

What a beautiful property. Our family of 7 adults from Canada enjoyed the views, the quiet relaxation and the spaciousness this home provided. The bedrooms were all a good size, the kitchen was well appointed, there were various areas to enjoy being outdoors, we just loved it. We spent time in the nearby towns exploring but were always delighted to come “home” to the tranquility of this location. Thank you to our hosts for making it available.

Fabulous family holiday

We had a fabulous holiday in this lovely very well equipped Villa. The space was perfect for our family with plenty of room to spread out! The views of La Herradura are stunning. 25 yr anniversary

This was our 25 yr anniversary trip with the whole family. The photos on the website dont do the villa justice. It is much larger then it appears....enough room for everone to have their own space if needed. Pool was massive....Iván was a great host and was always on hand from the moment we booked to answer any queries. Really lovely holiday.

Wonderful location and great views

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful villa which has such stunning views over the bay and village of La Herradurra. It really is one of those villas and locations that look as good as the photos show it on the website – it was so well equipped and spotlessly clean. We spent hours chilling in the pool during the day or relaxing on one of the balconies of an evening. Thank you too to Ivan and his family who were so helpful before and during the holiday – their recommendation we visit the city of Granada was spot on. If you’re looking for somewhere you can chill with places to go see on its doorstep, this villa is ideal.

Panoramic bay views

This house is situated up on the hill with panoramic views over the bay below. It is up a steep hill so walking to the beach is relatively easy but is a vigorous walk back. There are a lot of steps at the house between the various levels and so would not be suitable for those who are less able, to get from the parking at the bottom of the property to the very top is over 100 steps. The house is spacious and very well equipped so making staying here very comfortable.

A wonderful house modern, charming with a pool and a great view with lots of place for a group of 8.

We stayed for one week at the villa with other friends and adore the villa and its situation It is a modern impeccable villa decorated with a lot of taste. Quite charming The house is big with 4 bedrooms. 3 of them have a view of the water. On the front of the main floor there is a large terrace with a beautiful view overlooking the water and the whole coast where we had our breakfast and dinner when we were home. The kitchen is well equipped. We had delicious black figs and mango. There are a lots of fruit trees on the property On the lower floor is a large swimming pool In the middle of September we swam every day The temperature of the water was around 27 ,28 degree centigrade At that level is a BBQ with a large table great for lunch or dinner At that same level is a studio where is located the 4th bedroom a bathroom a second kitchen and a living room. What we liked so much is that we each had our space. Ivan and family where wonderful host helping us with everything. Very helpful from helping my son to find an apartment nearby at last minutes to recommendations to restaurants and shops. We loved the area La Herradura is a peaceful village with many good restaurants on the beach as Buennos and Amarre. Nerjas is a pretty village nearby but Grenada with the Alhambra is not to be missed only a little over an hour away. Malaga is also very interesting. We loved our stay Everything was a pleasure We would be glad to come back. Christine

Sehr schönes und großzügiges Haus mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen und immer wieder atemberaubende Blicke über die Bucht von La Herradura. Küche wirklich gut ausgestattet. insgesamt alles geschmackvoll und zum Wohlfühlen. Der Pool war noch größer als erwartet und wirklich auch zum Schwimmen geeignet. Heerlijke vakantievilla met veel privacy

Mooi huis met 3 ruime slaapkamers en 1 kleinere slaapkamer. 2 kleine badkamers en 2 ruimere badkamers. Veel verschillende plekjes om heerlijk buiten te vertoeven in de tuin of bij het zwembad. Bij het zwembad een compleet appartement met daar een 2e (kleinere) keuken. Er was wel wat klein onderhoud nodig maar wellicht hoort dat bij het einde van het seizoen (wij waren er eind oktober). Eigenaar is goed te bereiken via Whatsapp voor vragen en tips. Nadeel aan het huis zijn de vele (stenen) trappen. Met kleine kinderen en mensen die niet goed ter been zijn best een uitdaging.

Ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Haus bei dem es an nichts fehlt. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt.

Auch der Empfang war sehr persönlich und herzlich! Man merkt, dass es dem Vermieter sehr wichtig ist, dass die Gäste sich wohlfühlen.

Amazing views, beautiful house, fabulous big pool

The house is really gorgeous - even better that in the pictures. The views of the bay are spectacular day and night, and the pool size is great. Big enough for a proper swim. Iván was a great host, always replying promptly to messages and sorting out any queries we had. Access to the seafront was about 20 mins on foot (40 mins uphill on the way back - or 5 in a taxi - ask at the Tourist Info office on the seafront). The town itself has loads of nice cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours, small supermarkets/ minimarkets too. (Lidl is a short drive away.) We especially enjoyed the churros and chocolate in the square in the morning and a little tub of gelato by the beach after a night out. The castle is worth a visit as well - small but interesting and nicely presented. The beach is lovely. It’s stony so we were glad of our neoprene swimming shoes. The bonus is no scraping off of sand come the end of the day! Beautiful clear water for swimming. Sun loungers with parasol could be rented for 5 Euros a day. If you have a car La Herradura also makes a great base to visit Granada, Almuñecar, Nerja, Frigiliana. The Tourist Info office is really helpful. It looks completely bare when you go in, but they have all the leaflets, maps, info, etc under the desk. We packed lots of activity into our two weeks, but my favourite times were the ones spent lounging with my book in Iván’s magical garden, and chatting and eating on the balconies with my family. Wish I could have stayed a month.

Villa of dreams- fabulous views

Fabulous fun family stay at the most spacious luxurious Villa. It really is the most wonderful place to stay. A lot of steps, for young families & walking difficulties, But for us all adults perfect. Thankyou to Ivan, the owner, for all his help & advice, very much appreciated. My first time in Le Herradura, definitely not my last. 10/10
