Superbe villa côtière à quelques minutes de la plage. Espace Yacht Club avec 2 kayaks et 4 vélos
Belle villa de trois chambres et deux salles de bains avec piscine sur un grand terrain, située directement sur la voie navigable avec accès à la mer à quelques minutes. La villa dispose d'une cuisine bien équipée avec un coin bar qui mène à la grande salle familiale avec plafond voûté et portes-fenêtres ouvrant sur la piscine et le patio. La cuisine dispose d'une variété d'équipements, notamment un refroidisseur à vin, un presse-agrumes, un mélangeur, un grille-pain, une bouilloire, une machine à café, etc. La chambre familiale dispose d'une télévision à écran plat, d'un abonnement par câble, d'une connexion haut débit et d'un système audio avec station d'accueil iPhone et AUX. Il y a un deuxième salon formel qui mène à la salle à manger avec des sièges pour 6 qui s'ouvre sur le patio par de doubles portes coulissantes. La chambre principale a un lit super king size, une télévision à écran plat, un dressing et un dressing avec double vasque et douche et toilettes séparées dans le dressing. La chambre principale a accès au patio et à la piscine par des portes-fenêtres. Dans l'aile d'hôtes de la maison se trouvent deux grandes chambres d'hôtes, une avec lits jumeaux et l'autre avec un lit double queen. Ces chambres partagent une grande salle de bains avec baignoire et douche avec une porte donnant sur la piscine. Des sèche-cheveux et des lisseurs sont fournis dans les salles de bains. La chambre lits jumeaux dispose également de portes-fenêtres doubles avec accès à la piscine. Les deux chambres d'hôtes ont de grandes armoires encastrées. La buanderie dispose d'un lave-linge, d'un sèche-linge et de matériel de repassage. Le garage double a un accès clicker électrique. Il y a une piscine chauffée en forme de rein et un grand patio avec table et chaises, chaises longues, un fauteuil à bascule et un barbecue à gaz. La piscine est nettoyée et entretenue une fois par semaine, tout comme le jardin. La zone de la piscine a une cage de piscine pour se protéger des moustiques. Vous pouvez pêcher au bout de votre quai à l'aide de l'équipement de pêche fourni dans le garage. Les serviettes de bain et de piscine sont fournies. Il y a aussi deux kayaks fournis pour votre usage pour explorer les voies navigables et la région.
Si vous souhaitez organiser un bateau de location pendant votre séjour, celui-ci peut être amarré au bout de votre jardin sur le quai. La villa est à 5 minutes à pied de la zone Cape Coral Yacht Club avec une belle plage et un restaurant au bord de l'eau ou vous pouvez vous y rendre en utilisant les quatre vélos fournis dans le garage.
À votre arrivée à la villa, un pack de bienvenue de luxe sera fourni, composé de vin mousseux, un esprit de marque premium de votre choix parmi une liste fournie après la réservation, bières, lait, pain, beurre, fruits, jus d'orange, produits de nettoyage de base et articles de toilette de luxe. Great location
The location was great to get around everywhere. The pool was wonderful. The home was very spacious and clean. It has everything you need. The only things I would suggest it that it could use some updating and better cable as you don’t get many channels.

Stunning coastal villa
Stayed March 2025 - Loved the location, close to everything. The pool lost its cage due to hurricane but we actually liked it better and had no bug problems whatsoever. Views from pool area great with palm tree lined horizon. This is not a newly built home so some normal wear is to be expected.Liked it so well we have reserved it for next year. Great communication from host and his representative.Thank you Ronald

This was a very lovely and roomy house and a beautiful property. The host and property manager are very responsive. The pool is labeled as heated and is solar heated but it is NOT adequately heated enough for New Year’s time. There was an issue with the igniter on the propane grill and it needed a battery which we had to go out and purchase bc there were none available at the house. After purchasing a new battery, the grill worked great and we used it often. At first, the garbage disposal didn’t work and I was plunging the drain. Thank goodness my boyfriend used to be a plumber and he said that it just had to be reset. After doing so, it worked great! There were 4 bikes in the garage where all of the tires were flat. The provided bike pump was broken, so we asked the next door neighbor for a pump which he graciously provided. After pumping the tires, we had fun with the bikes! We had some issues but were able to figure out resolutions!

Not stunning house.
House is very dated. No work has been done sense it was built in the 60's. Pool was unusable, pool company said they come on every Monday but we never saw them and pool bottom was very dirty. Water to the house was shut off at the street when we arrived because of a leak in the ground and had to flush the toilet from the pool water with a bucket on the first night. (gross) Water was turned back on after it was fixed. I would not recommand this house. We stayed for a month

Nice location, but in need of some updating, general maintenance and deep cleaning
There were some things not working when we arrived (pool heater, bike flat tire, light bulbs, no gas in the tank for the grill), but the property manager was very nice and helpful in resolving those. The house is in need of some updating, general maintenance and deep cleaning. The kitchen cabinet laminate coating is peeling off, the carpet throughout is old and stained in areas of heavy foot traffic, the patio needs pressure washed and some screen repairs, the entryway door needs to be painted, and the front porch needs cleaning. The furniture is also outdated. Make sure you buy damage insurance or take pictures of things that are broken as you may get charged for things that are pre-existing. We got charged a damage fee for a broken lock, small tear in one of the comforters, and a missing blind panel in one of the bedrooms. The location is good, but the quality of the home was not up to the standard for the price being charged.

We thank you for your feedback but we have to clarify that we have a strict checkout procedure which involves 2 people separately checking for damage. They take photos for reference. Therefore we can categorically state that the damage was not done until your party moved in.
It is difficult to get maintenance jobs such as pressure washing done when guests are staying , especially in view of Covid restrictions, but these have now all been corrected. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Disillusioned in the Cape
Extremely excited about spending 2 months in Florida. Then i got to the VRBO rental. The good points are we were allowed into the VRBO a day early. The house watcher was wonderful to work with. There was lots of towels to use. Bad points are we thought there was a screen around the pool because there was in the pictures. Nope, and lots of bugs. The 4 bikes had air in the tires. 3 hours later, only 1 had air. The metal deck furniture is all rusted out on the legs and doesn't work very well. It said the pool was heated, but solar heat is not heated. We were only able to use the pool 7 days out of the 60 that we were there because it was too cold. The boat lift hadn't been fixed since the hurricane, but we knew that. I tied my boat up to the seawall clamp and that broke from being too old. Inside the house the furniture is shot. The shutters in the front room are so nasty I wouldn't touch them. The gutters and downspouts are broken from the hurricane and flooded the pool deck up to the house twice. The whole house needs to be updated.

We will reply to the most obvious things first.
The opening statement on the VRBO page for our villa explains the situation post hurricane Ian and clearly states in paragraph 2 that there is no longer a pool cage in place.
In the pool description it clearly states that the kidney shaped pool is solar heated. Solar heating relies on Florida sunshine to warm the pool. Sadly you had unusually cold temperatures during your stay. When the sun shines the solar heating works very efficiently in a way that is environmentally friendly.
Whilst mentioning the weather we also need to point out that you had bad storms which no guttering will cope with. Florida weather is also tropical and therefore stormy weather brings bugs.
We were staying at the house over Christmas and left 3 days before you arrived. The blinds were perfectly clean then. However, the house watcher,as you refer to him, asks every guest if everything is to their satisfaction and you said it was. Otherwise he would have automatically sent the cleaner back in. You also never mentioned the bikes to him which incidentally were serviced in December and all had new inner tubes. If he is not informed of a problem he cannot resolve it for you.
The house was refurbished in December 22 post hurricane Ian. All carpets were replaced along with items of furniture and all patio furniture. Once again the tropical nature of Floridian weather with its humidity and rain will lead to rusting on outside furniture despite the fact that it’s only 16 months old.
We are very conservative with our rates thus allowing guests to enjoy a waterfront property at a very fair price compared to many others in the area.

The truth is the best way to go.
This property had been damaged in hurricanes, there was no Lanai, consequently we were bitten by bugs, The guttering system was totally non functional, and so when it rained the patio was flooded. Patio furniture had mostly rusted legs so was wobbly to sit on. Despite being asked on the first of September about any damage, it was denied. Parts of the property were just unclean , front blinds for example. The picture used in this VRBO questionnaire is the one we were shown when booking. The bicycles were unusable , only two had inflated tyres, and set up for children. the others were rusted and ceased up. It is a shame because with some TLC it could be a lovely property to rent. As usual, some homeowners are only interested in profit. My guess is that this revue will not appear online.
On a positive note, the info book was very helpful, the supply of towels was generous. Not enough sheets for beds, only one set per bed. I have pictures if required !
My advice to the owners, GET THE PLACE FIXED UP PROPERLY

We are sorry to hear that you seemed unprepared for the fact that there is no pool cage on our lanai. Can I draw your attention to the opening paragraph (below)
of our villa’s description on VRBO, which is the only website we rent on and is the website from which you booked in May 2023 , 5 months after the hurricane Ian update was posted at the very top of the villa’s description.
“We would like to update potential guests as to the current situation in our villa and Cape Coral after hurricane Ian. We write this as we return home on 2 nd December after staying in the villa for 2 weeks.
The house has been thoroughly cleaned, refurbished and refurnished where necessary. All carpets have been replaced. The pool pump has been replaced and the pool is pristine. Patio furniture has been replaced ,however there is no longer a pool cage in place“.
This announcement was posted on 2 December 2022 when we returned from Cape Coral , where we went to carry out or arrange the repairs necessary post hurricane. We were totally honest with current and future guests that we had sustained hurricane damage from Ian although it has to be said that houses in our road came out much better than most in Cape Coral due to the high elevation of the land/houses. We explained what work had been done ,with many items being replaced and that the pool cage was no longer there.
Just to mention that the area has bounced back substantially even more since that report and the area is vibrant and glorious.
As you arrived on 20/9/23 and immediately complained about the rain, guttering and bugs we immediately checked the Cape Coral weather reports. Cape Coral was under a severe flood warning the day before ( I believe you witnessed this during your flight ) and for a couple more days. This is unusual but not unheard of in September ,which as we said in our response email we could not have warned you about.
Florida weather is tropical , which by definition means you should expect high temperatures, humidity, torrential rain and thunderstorms. Unfortunately, mosquitoes are indigenous to Florida and will always be more prevalent in wet/stormy weather. This is why every supermarket and hardware store has an enormous isle of mosquito repellants and citronella candles and sprays.
The guttering will naturally be overcome in severe flood situations.
As stated on the website all patio furniture, including bbq , was replaced in November 22 after Ian. After hurricanes , supply and demand for replacement items of all types become a problem and this was even more so in Ian. We were faced with replacing patio furniture when nothing was available. We drove miles to get the current set which is only 11 months old. Sadly we did not have the luxury of procuring a set without metal legs at that time and were grateful to suppliers in Florida who helped us. We agree a couple of legs have rusted which is possibly not aesthetically pleasing to you but they are perfectly usable and safe.
None of the bikes are for children because we do not allow renters with children.
We arrived on the 5 th October , the day after you left and we actually used the bikes the next day. All four bikes were professionally serviced and fitted with new inner tubes before you arrived. We also used the patio furniture without incident.
Regarding the bedding , there are indeed extra sheets in the wardrobes and utility room. However , the laundry facilities we provide are so efficient that a full set of bedding would wash and dry in 45 minutes. Alternatively we offer a payable mid rental cleaning service which you opted not to select.
You seem to infer that when you asked about damage on 1 st September, prior to your visit, we misled you. The damage incurred by Ian was clearly stated on the website , as mentioned before. However , this is irrelevant now because everything has been repaired and we chose not to replace the pool cage because a lot of guests prefer it this way. You already knew the impact of hurricane Ian when you booked. Ian is the only hurricane ever to damage our house and as such there was no new damage to report.
Contrary to your suggestion , we very much care about our renters and we responded to you immediately , as always , whilst also making Allen aware of your concerns. I believe he even came round to show you the location of the ironing board.
We are sorry you did not find what you expected and that you did not understand the opening statement about no pool cage.

Super séjour en famille
L'accueil et la propriété etaient au rdv. Le propriétaire restait diapo pour noa questions. La piscine est chauffée par le solaire alors nos début de vacance il faisait froid ce qui nous a donné une eau tres froide mais lorsque la température s'est rétablie.....l'eau est devenue accessible 😊. La plage de Cape Coral était fermée vu le passage de l'ouragan ian, nous avons du faire 1heure de voiture 😔 .
En général, pour ce qui est de la maison, tout etait parfait!

Good house, loved the soler heated pool. House needed some tlc, but overall the beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We were given a welcome package, with fruit, bread, butter, juice, milk, a bottle of Prosecco, and some rum.
We would stay here again.
