About Marti Menacho

We've been growing and making olive oil since 1999. We love good friends, good food, and good wine. We enjoy entertaining and cooking and are always trying new things.

We relocated to Paso Robles in 2006 after visiting our friends here for about 20 years. We've seen a lot of change in that time, but it's still a place where we feel part of a community that works together. We love how welcome we felt from day 1.

We moved our century old olive orchard to neighboring Creston from Northern California. We produce award winning olive oils and vinegar and are open to the public for tasting. We hope that while you're here, you come out and see us there.

Why Marti Menacho chose Central Coast

We loved the new neighborhood and the openness of this property. With a green space on the side and the back of the property it's very private even though it's in a neighborhood.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy the central location and the close proximity to all that Paso offers!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I came to Paso Robles with another couple who had never been to the area before. Since is was going to be a weekend, we just decided to rent a place rather than stay in a hotel. We found this place on VRBO and contacted Marti via the website.

Marti answered our questions in a very timely manner and made the whole process super easy.

The house itself is very nice. It's been recently remodeled so it has all the comforts of home. It has a nice TV and a stocked kitchen if you want to cook a meal or two. It was just a very comfortable place to stay.

The back and side yards are really lovely and I could see spending a nice evening outside with the fire pit going and a bottle or two of wine. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to really use it because it was rainy the weekend we were there.

As a bonus, the owners of this house also own an olive orchard in Creston. I had never gone olive oil tasting, but that was quite fun. I'd suggest you check it out if you are in the area.

Overall impressions - this is a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. Marti made the whole process quite easy. Next time we come down to midstate, we have to spend more time. A weekend wasn't enough to check out everything we wanted. Thanks for a nice weekend!

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

This house worked great. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome gift. We live in Northern California and our son lives in LA. This was a great half way point to meet for s really fun weekend when my sister and friend came to visit. We look forward to doing it again.

Beautiful Property -- Still on Cloud 9 After a Fabulous Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had such an incredible stay at this Paso Robles home. My best friend & I were celebrating our birthday's with family and friends and we couldn't have had a better time. We were a little nervous at first, as it was a new listing with no reviews to go off of, however, the owner was very friendly & easy to get in touch with. Upon arriving, we knew we made the right choice! The home looked recently remodeled, updated kitchen, cool fireplace (switch to turn it on), stylish bedding/decor & nicely remodeled bathrooms. We spent most nights in the back yard, drinking wine around the fire pit and admiring the two beautiful olive trees. Speaking of olive trees, the owner actually owns an Olive Oil Company and left a few samples for us... Which were delicious! We wish we had time in our schedule to visit her tasting room. Although this trip has come to an end, we are already planning our next vacation to Paso Robles. We will certainly be looking to book this home again! Thanks again, Marti for being a gracious host and making our stay so enjoyable!

We couldn't have had a better experience!

  • 5 of 5

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoy cooking and the way the kitchen was laid out some of us were preparing meals or snacks while the rest of our party were right there enjoying wine and music at the counter bar. Then we would retire to the backyard where it was open with plenty of seating for dinner or relaxing in the outdoor living room area. Later in the evening, we enjoyed a fire under the stars. The owners introduced themselves upon our arrival and were very helpful in suggesting some of the local wineries. We will be back! It's only too bad that we had to leave at all.

Our house is just 2.5 miles from the City Park. The area a classic plaza featuring grand old shade trees, a Carnegie library, a children’s playground and a traditional bandstand that serves as the centerpiece for our many events. All around the park, restaurants, wine bars, pubs, inns and specialty shops set a relaxed and flavorful tone amid early 20th century-style architecture.

Just minutes from town, along country roads, you will discover what Sunset Magazine recently called the West Coast’s “most exciting wine region,” where more than 250 wineries make their home. We are closest to The Wineries of 46 East which include favorites such as Vina Robles, EOS, Tobin James, Hearst, Robert Hall and several others. All of the other Central Coast Wineries are easily within reach.

The Vina Robles Amphitheater, Ravine Water Park, and the Paso Robles Event Center are all within a 2 mile radius. The Paso Robles Event Center hosts the Mid-State Fair and many other events throughout the year.

If you are a foodie, we are close to the downtown restaurants and tthe downtown Farmers' Market on Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning. The owners, Frank and Marti Menacho, also own Olivas de Oro Olive Company in Creston where you will be able to visit their olive orchard and olive oil tasting room. It is just 15 miles away.
