Beachcombing is a must on this special stretch of beach. Wildlife watching and photographing is a part of the entire experience here. About Marjory Bartee

We feel very fortunate to be able to live in one of the most beautiful and unique spots on the North Olympic Peninsula and to be able to share it with travelers seeking to experience the beauty and wonders of this special area. We are located on several acres of land, partially farmland, partially woodland on the high bank waterfront bluff along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our views are of the majestic Olympic mountain range to the south and of Vancouver Island, B.C. to the north. Having a wooded creek as our eastern boundary, we are able to provide the unique access pathway to the beach below. All of our several vacation rental homes enjoy the use of this same five minute hiking trail which is the most treasured feature of our properties. Wildlife abounds in this natural habitat where deer, eagles, river otter, seals and more are seen as an every day occurrence. We work daily at our other businesses where we sell home improvement products such as appliances, flooring, cabinets etc. We strive to have all of our vacation homes reflect our enthusiasm for inviting, quality interiors so that our guests feel truly welcome and at home while they stay in our homes.

Why Marjory Bartee chose Port Angeles

We have lived on this acreage for many, many years and have gradually developed several vacation rentals on it over the past few years. We love this beautiful land and try to keep it looking it's best for everyone who comes to visit so that they will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this mobile home unique

The Peacock Pad is equipped with everything you will need to stay for a weekend or even for a month at a time. The luxurious, comfortable couch is perfect for relaxing indoors and enjoying the T.V. and stereo or just reading a good book. The quality front loading laundry set is there for your convenience and the bathrooms offer a bathtub and shower combination. The queen and standard double size beds and will accommodate four people very comfortably with high thread count, hand ironed linens. Peacock Pad: Clean, Comfortable Home with A Beach Trail Between Sequim & PA
average rating of 4.6923075 based on 26 reviews

Quiet, spacious, well appointed spot for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at the Peacock Pad. It was central to a lot of different things we planned to do. We drove a good bit, but we knew that going in. The house was much roomier than I expected and had all the kitchen items we needed for the week, including a nice gas grill!

Make sure you read the description. I saw reviews that were unhappy about the beach access. Look at the pictures, you walk to the beach, it's down a big hill, but it's beautiful. There's a gorgeous overlook as well.

It is in a small (17 lot) mobile home park, but it's very quiet, we saw less than 6 people all week. Privacy was no issue.

It suited our needs perfectly. Thank you for a great week!

Peacock Pad

  • 3 of 5

Disappointed with beach access. I was hoping it was a bit easier to get to. Also, from the pictures of the house - I didn't realize the neighbors would be so close. We expected to be able to barbecue and entertain outside, but didn't because the houses were too close. The inside of the home was spacious and very comfortable

Lovely setting, clean and comfortable home

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful stay at the peacock pad. Our kids loved spending time on the beach at low tide and watching the sunset from the bluff. The trail down to the beach was a bit dicey in spots, but it was very pretty and quite adventurous. Loved the privacy of the beach. Agnew was a perfect spot to base our Olympic peninsula adventures! We hope to return in the future!

Superb Location !

  • 5 of 5

We wished we had planned a longer stay in this lovely home ! We were very pleased to find all of the amenities we could have possibly needed in a very spacious, comfortable, clean, relaxing, wonderful place. The house was a perfect base for our exploration of the Olympic Peninsula. The locked trail to the beach added a unique level of adventure. Photos could not capture the beauty of the ocean and mountains. We were so impressed with this area of Washington that both my husband and I thought it would be a terrific place to move to !

Dog Friendly Beautiful Setting

  • 4 of 5

Clean, well maintained manufactured home in an older neighborhood, in a beautiful setting with many walking trails. The home is spacious and open. If you are traveling with a family or 3 couples, the home would accomodate very well. The home is across the road from several walking trails in the trees with amazing views of the straits looking across to Canada. There are several benches and picnic tables in a quiet serene setting where we had our morning coffee and wine in the afternoon.

The home is centrally located to the Olympic National Park, Port Angeles and Sequim. Perfect base for exploring.

We would definitely recommend Peacock Pad and return with Bojangles.

Clean, comfortable home in an amazing setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a splendid time staying at the Peacock Pad! The home is spacious, well equipped, and very clean. But what we really loved was its location. Amazing bluff views and sunsets with a backdrop of the mountains are just steps from your door. And the wooded trail that follows the creek to a stunning beach is just magical (though a little tricky to navigate). A great place for a family vacation!

The Peacock Pad is in private and quiet with a backdrop of towering evergreen trees where eagles nest, above the private beach where seals and seabirds are spotted as the waves crash ashore. It is less than two miles away from the paved Olympic Discovery Trail, the perfect trail for pedestrians, cyclists or equestrians. For more information on the delightful trail. It is also only a five minute drive from the well-stocked Agnew Grocery and Feed Store which has a large selection of wines many from our local Olympic Peninsula Wineries. Because it is so conveniently located mid way between the two towns of Sequim and Port Angeles, in an area called Agnew, it is an easy fifteen to twenty minute drive in either direction to the restaurants and shops and activities that both towns have to offer. The world famous Dungeness Spit, the longest spit in the world, is only minutes away by car or can be hiked to along the shore for those who enjoy hiking and beachcombing along the unpopulated, rugged beach. Be sure to plan your beach walks accordingly, however, as high tide can be treacherous if you are not prepared. (tide tables are listed in the local phone book)
