The location was great and very close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Our flight was in quite late and the host was very responsive to any messages we sent especially when we had trouble opening the door. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Host Great Location

João was a great host, meeting us on arrival and providing excellent advice on how to become familiar with the neighborhood. He was easy to reach when necessary and offered a couple of free cleanings given the length of our stay. We came to love the local food and dining shops. It's a great location from which to explore Porto.

Excellent experience

We very much enjoyed our stay. Logistical arrangements were conducted helpfully and efficiently. João proved an excellent host (including kindly accommodating our early arrival), and was very welcoming and informative. The accommodation proved just right for our needs, with a great view too; and the location - a short walk from bolhão - was ideal.

Great Stay

João was incredibly kind and helpful, and his apartment was immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Porto, and so appreciated João's restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. He was kind enough to offer to pick us up at the metro and made arrangements to have a taxi pick us up at 4AM on the day we departed, which was so helpful.

Great Apartment in Porto

The apartment was in central Porto, conveniently located near the Bolhao Market, cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants. The host was very attentive. If you need a place to leave a car overnight, there is long-term parking 10 minutes away.

Location just right

Modern and minimalistic apartment very close to bustling Saint Catarina street and many historic buildings. Minimalistic decor and large windows made the apartment bright and airy. Host was there to greet us and gave a great siggestion for a longer term parking lot.

porto is hilly!!

great location, but you will have a walk uphill a bit. There is an elevator, great views, clean and roomy! Second lock is tricky and should be replaced with something easier to negotiate.

Great location for walkers

Location of property was great for visiting the sites, shopping and dining. Walking down the hill to the historic district was easy - nice walk with plenty of shopping along the way. I recommend a ride back up the hill. Property was very clean with a beautiful view. Great communication with property manager. They could have been a little more generous with arrival amenities - like water, coffee, sugar, towels, etc but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Best of the Best in Porto

Excellent location within walking distance of anything you need from restaurants to food markets. We are in our 70s and stayed for 24 days. The host who meet us at the property reviewed the property with us. He explained the local attractions , stores and restaurants. He is a perfect host who drove and dropped us at the supermarket after our arrival and provided an immediate response to our few questions. He deserves a rating of “Superior Host”. Great city view.

Irene

Fantastic holiday location. Close enough to city centre to be convenient while being secluded and noise-free. Host could not have been more helpful and facilitated airport transfer and delayed arrival with good humour and a very warm welcome. Apartment modern, clean and bright - all we could have asked for. All queries prior to holiday were answered within the hour

Perfect PORTO property!!

Everything is exactly as pictured - and loft apartment is only 10 minute walk from pedestrian walkway, where shops and restaurants abound, and 20 minute walk from town centre (railway station, sightseeing buses, walking tours). This apartment was an incredible find and we risk it no longer being available for our own future use because we are rating it as exceptional! Thank you João and brother Alexandre!! Our stay in PORTO was perfect.

Loved Porto

From the first time we contacted Joao, until the final day of our visit, his communication with us was prompt and exemplary. We immediately sensed the pride he feels for his city and we sensed his main goal was for us to gain an appreciation of why he feels this way. We did! The location of the apartment was central to everything we wanted to do. We would highly recommend these accommodations and left Porto with great appreciation for how supportive João was for our visit!

Not Much You Criticize

I stayed 7 weeks. It met my needs, comfortable, and in a good location, close to the shopping district and Bolhao market but a couple of blocks away from noise. Joao is great. Friendly, responsive. Important tip about visiting Porto. You can’t walk anywhere that you don’t go up or down a hill. Use Uber or taxis if you are hill-adverse.
