Dobreć holiday lettings

We were given the warmest welcome by the hosts with wine and home made cakes by the pool. The apartment is even nicer than the photos - comfy beds, lovely bathroom with plenty of towels, large kitchen with everything you could need and a balcony overlooking the sea. We were given sole access to the pool. We couldn’t speak more highly of the property and of the hosts. They were always on hand to help us with any difficulties that we had and went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely come back.

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The villa is amazing and was more than enough room for the 7 of us. Pool was used multiple times a day by all followed by lazy lunches under the canopy’s and family bbq’s. Evenings spent on balcony off the lounge playing family games and enjoying cold drinks. Accommodation is very clean and the photos don’t do it justice to how nice it is. The views are spectacular from all balcony’s and rooms making our week long stay special for everyone

We spent a week here at the end of July 2018. The villa is beautifully kept, the pool is clean, and everything we needed in terms of kitchen utensils etc was there - but as the review title indicates, the best thing about this property is the peace. You drive up a small lane, and the property sits at the top of it, looking out over a few farm buildings and then the trees, hills and mountains beyond. There were a few thunderstorms when we were there, but it didn't matter, as we just sat on the terrace and watched the rain sweeping in and out of the mountains. We visited Rabac and Labin, went on the Zip wire over the gorge, went around churches and castles, but the joy for me was returning to the villa at the end of the day. My eleven year old daughter loved the garden, and spent hours looking for unusual Croatian bugs, butterflies and lizards, and my fourteen year old son would have happily spent the whole week, sitting in the shade of the parasols, and then swimming in the pool when he felt hot. There were five of us in total, and we fitted in just fine - having the air conditioning definitely helped in term of our comfort. The owner was really helpful and obliging, turning up in the middle of the night to welcome us, after our flight was delayed - and giving us excellent advice about which beaches to try and which to avoid! This was a lovely place to stay - I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants a real holiday away from it all!
