About ANNA RODOPOULOU
I am Anna your host! I am Greek, born in Istanbul where I spent my childhood. My family and I moved to Athens in 1974, where I completed high school and then got a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. I am now a real estate agent and, most importantly, a mother of 3. I am also a member of a history club. I love exploring cultures, traditions and cuisines from all over the world. I am a very welcoming and friendly person and I get great pleasure in going out and about, continuously discovering secret corners in the lovely city of Athens with my friends and family. As a hostess, I will be happy to share any tips you may need concerning Athenian gastronomy, nightlife and cultural events to make you feel welcome in my beautiful city. I look forward to meeting you!

Why ANNA RODOPOULOU chose Athens City Centre
Plaka is one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Athens. There is a mystical atmosphere about it and a historical significance too (the house is surrounded by old streets including Tripodon, the most ancient Athenian street) that make it special in my heart.
What makes this Villa unique
The neighbourhood of Plaka makes you feel as if you are in a village. It has a unique beauty and calmness, an unparalleled character and unique architecture that almost make you forget you are right at the centre of Athens, with historic sites, shops, restaurants and streets buzzing with life around you. Having a coffee at the balcony that overlooks Lisiou street is a must!

Perfect location for exploring the Plaka area
The rental was perfect for our family of 5. The location was perfect for exploring the Plaka area. Everything was within walking distance and plenty of food and drink options within minutes. Thanks Anna!
Great location, beautiful home
Anna was lovely to work with and has a beautiful home in a great location. She responded quickly to all my inquiries. We we’re running late and she was very accommodating to the change. She secured our transportation from the cruise ship, to a dinner the next day and transportation to the airport.
The apartment sits right next to the plaka for plenty of shopping. Next door is several restaurants, with yummy food, for easy dining.
We had a group of 9 adults with plenty of room for all. The home was very clean with more than adequate supplies for our two day stay.
Besides the plaka you have easy walking distance to the Parthenon, tomb of the unknown soldier, Zeus temple and so much more. I would highly recommend.
Perfect in Every Way
We are 2 families with kids in their late teens. We had an Amazing time! The location is perfect for exploring be beautiful Plaka and accessing the Acropolis. Would definitely recommend. Anna was great to work with and we get some small discounts at a few nearby restaurants. The apartment meant was large, clean and the beds were great!
Our trip to Athens
Our trip to Athens was wonderful. We were able to stay right in the center and a beautiful town called plaka. This home was very spacious and modern. We love the air conditioning especially in the heat of the summer. The property manager met us and was kind to explain the local area as well. Downstairs there was a wonderful restaurant called Zorba’s and we ate there several times the food was delicious. The acropolis is also just behind us on a hill and it was wonderful to see it lit up at night. I couldn’t of picked a better place to stay in Athens for the three nights we spent here.. this home was very spacious and modern. We love the air conditioning especially in the heat of the summer. Just Where You Want To Be
Anna was responsive to all of my inquiries within a short time. The house is very quaint, clean, comfortable, and within a short walking distance of everything you could possibly want or need. She also arranged very early morning transportation to Piraeus for us to catch the ferry to Santorini. One couple in our group had lost luggage and Anna stepped up and made calls to the airlines on our behalf. When you visit a foreign country it’s always nice to have someone there to help with anything and everything....and that’s Anna.
Amazing location and property
Anna's home worked perfectly for our group of 10 adults and 2 babies. The space was great and we had everything we needed.
Anna was great to work with! She had baby beds and a high chair ready for the kids. She also helped us arrange transfers to the cruise port. I really hope to return someday.
Breakfast can be arranged to be delivered to the house upon request (not included in the price) or you can have it served at cafe Melina right next to the house after 8:30 at a 20% discount.
Plaka, also known as “the neighborhood of the Gods” due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites, is one of the most picturesque areas of Athens. Stroll around, enjoy the unique architecture, visit souvenir shops and shops with local products, go for a Greek coffee at cafe Melina or try out Greek cuisine dishes at tavernas like Zorbas. Everything is right at your feet!
Visit the Monastiraki flea market for a pleasant walk and maybe some Greek sandals and souvenir shopping! Look out to see traditional antique shops. Take a coffee break with great views
