Anchor Cottage, es una cabaña de pescadores moderna convertida, una de las pocas propiedades ubicadas en un hermoso patio en el área de conservación de Anstruther en el hermoso East Neuk de Fife. Esta casa adosada tiene más de 3 pisos, consta de una habitación doble con alcoba abierta que tiene una cama para niños pequeños (adecuada de 18 meses a 4 años aproximadamente) y baño con ducha con bañera; una sala de estar con comedor y cocina, todas con hermosas vistas al mar al otro lado del Firth of Forth; y el dormitorio principal con baño con ducha y vistas al mar. (Una cómoda silla cama está disponible en la sala de estar para acomodar a un quinto invitado adulto si es necesario). Hay un área de asientos al aire libre, protegida y orientada al sur en el patio y un espacio de estacionamiento asignado justo en la puerta de entrada. Delightful stay in Anstruther

My brother and I used Ann’s place as our base for a week’s golfing in St Andrew’s. The house was ideal - clean and well appointed. Close to St Andrew’s but away from the hustle and bustle. The fishing village has character and restaurants and supermarkets are all walking distance.

wonderful apartment in a prime location

Ann's apartment is wonderful for a relaxing holiday, equipped with everything you need, especially nice are 2 bathrooms and wonderful beds. The communication with Ann and Check in was great! The anchor cottage is absolutely to be recommended, everything is great!

Perfect pre Christmas escape!

Lovely wee house - very clean and comfortable with little welcoming touches. And the most comfortable bed! Wishing we hadn’t recently bought a new mattress, otherwise that one would have been perfect! Great location for easy walks and short trips to St Andrews. Definitely recommend!

Cosy Cottage with great links to St Andrews and beyond

Lovely stay in the cottage. Comfortable for 4 adults with everything needed for a cracking weekend. Amazing sea view from the attic bedroom and short walk to local shops, restaraunts, bars and harbour. Communication from Ann was excellent and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Fife.

Lovely cottage and location.

We spent a most enjoyable week here. Anchor Cottage is situated in a quiet courtyard only minutes from the harbour, eateries, coastal path, etc. This lovely cottage was very clean and comfortable with lots of extras. We hope to return very soon and would highly recommend. B and T

We spent an enjoyable week here. Anchor Cottage was spotlessly clean & tastefully furnished, much thought had gone into each room to make it a comfortable stay. No complaints at all! A beautiful part of the world, we hope to visit again soon!

Comfort meets location

Anchor Cottage met and even surpassed all our expectations, largely contributing to make our holiday in Fife a memorable experience. First of all its location: a few minutes walk from the coastal path, the bus stop to S. Andrews and Edinburgh, but also from the harbour, the main shops, the Coop and yet secluded with its inner courtyard, we didn't hear any noises from the street or from the other cottages. The house itself was furnished with literally everything one might need, even for quite a long stay like ours (three weeks). The kitchen enabled us to cook just like at home, with its variety of pots and pans and oven trays. We found abundance of tea, coffee, sugar, salt oil and vinegar, laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper: really, we couldn't ask for more! The bedrooms were also really confy, with abundance of bedding and towels and that fantastic sea view! The only thing that lightly set us down was not having the chance of meeting Ann, the owner. We got into the house through the secure lock system, we had no problem at all with that, but we thought that given the long stay we would have met Mrs Hair sooner or later. we would gladly have exchanged a few words with her, even only to compliment her for her lovely place. Luckily no problem arose while we were there so she had no reason to come by, but still... The only useful suggestion that we would make is to sort out differently the disposal of garbage, as more than once we had a bit of difficulty in placing our trash in the appointed bin as it was already full with someone elses's bin bags. perhaps a lock could do the trick. Other than that, we really can't fault the property in any way, so much so that we hope we'll be able to come back.

The perfect getaway

The cottage was perfect for our week in Fife. Clean, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. My only quip would be to stress that it is on three levels and that the stairs are rather on the steep side, that being said, great cottage.

Perfect, lovely unit.

Very impressive visit. Our "Golf Trip" was perfect using the Anchor Cottage as a home base. Anstruther is "Wonderful"!! The Residents were quick to adopt Us, and were more friendly then some Family! Don't hesitate to visit, You will enjoy this ......Al Chrouser Jr PGA

Lovely cottage very cosy and comfortable, it has everything you look for only thing you need to take is food. Very close to the town but very little to no noise 2 mins from the sea front absolutely worth every penny would highly recommend Anchor cottage

Amazing

House is fabulous, everything we could have needed - complete home from home, no need to bring anything, except food! Clean, comfortable area is wonderful and if wet weather house is cosy with games to play and TV's in every room, best holiday hire we have ever stayed in!
