Casale Fralisa es una villa antigua muy luminosa y refinada. Goza de una posición importante gracias a su elegante arquitectura, el mobiliario y su espléndida vista al mar. La gran terraza con vistas al mar y el jardín privado con jacuzzi con vistas al mar, complementan a la perfección la belleza de esta antigua masía.



La villa está organizada en 3 plantas:



PLANTA BAJA

• 2 dormitorios dobles (tamaño de cama 160x190), uno es accesible por el otro o desde el patio exterior

• 1 baño privado con ducha (en suite)



PRIMER PISO - accesible desde la PLANTA BAJA subiendo 8 escalones



• Jardín y terraza principal, totalmente equipados con mesa de jardín, hamacas, BBQ, ducha exterior y jacuzzi con vista al mar. Nota: la piscina necesita aproximadamente 24 horas para calentarse

• Gran salón de planta abierta con dos sofás de pared, un sofá cama (tamaño de sofá cama 160x190) y una chimenea de ladrillo antiguo (leña disponible bajo petición)

• Cocina totalmente equipada con lavavajillas

• 1 baño con ducha

• 1 lavadero con lavadora, plancha y tabla de planchar

Casale Fralisa se encuentra en una posición estratégica: desde la propiedad es fácil acceder a todos los servicios principales de Praiano. El alojamiento es accesible desde el nivel de la calle, cruzando un pequeño camino peatonal y subiendo unos 60 escalones. Hay aparcamiento privado disponible bajo petición y por un suplemento y se encuentra a solo 150 metros del establecimiento.

Lovely Villa

Great terrace and terrific views of the sea.. Our choice to stay in Praiano was brilliant. Quiet, quaint town with easy access to the Marina, Beach and great restaurants! Also conveniently between Amalfi Coast and Positano. We used buses, taxis, but our favorite mode was the water taxi right below us at the Marina.

We had an amazing stay in Praiano!

The villa has beautiful views that were very much worth the extra stairs, and the bedrooms all have great privacy. The best part about staying here was the accommodations provided. Whenever we needed a taxi, a boat rental,restaurant recommendations we had immediate help at our disposal. Can't recommend enough!

We have stayed in many terrific VRBO’s and this one ranks right at the top. It’s hard to fully explain the attention to detail of this place. The views from the Terrace and hot tub are breathtaking. We were able to enjoy an amazing sunrise from the Terrace off of our bedroom. Each day we were there we noticed something new that impressed us. From the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom to the concrete table on the terrace. The kitchen was very well stocked and so adorable. These are just a few examples of the details that really impressed us. The outside Terrace and the view was so relaxing no matter what time of day. From morning coffee to happy hour cocktails. Communication with the owner/property manager was terrific. We got immediate responses to our questions. We loved the area as well. There were markets and restaurants close by to help with our needs. If we make it back to the Amalfi coast, we will be hard pressed to even consider another place for our stay. This was a home run and we are very grateful to find this gem. We highly recommend Casale Fralisa!!!

Spectacular Stay

This beautiful villa has spectacular views and is located close to public transportation and a little market. Trust me when I say these are important for your stay. The villa is clean and nicely decorated with all the modern conveniences but still has an old world feel. The host was very responsive and a great help.

Thanks for a great stay!

A lovely villa in a beautiful part of the world. Very spacious with lovely outside areas in which we could relax. Walkable (though admittedly updown stairs - which is basically everywhere on the Amalfi Coast!) to some Thanks for a great stay! restaurants and the Praiano Marina where you could get water taxis to AmalfiPositano (you could also walk to bus stops - we just didn't try these). We also were able to get to the Path of Gods quite easily (again up stairs), which were fabulous trails. Also loved the guide book provided by the host which gave us all the information we needed about the house, the area etc. The host (we dealt with Francesco) booked our taxis to and from the airport, and answered any queries we had about the property immediately - amazing! Felt really looked after.

A beautiful property

The property itself was great for our family party - spacious with plenty of kitchenware and other facilities. Beautiful location with LOADS of outdoor space to enjoy beautiful sea views. The only downsides were things that can´t really be changed: 1. The lack of parking (very typical of the Amalfi Coast). 2. The very many steps leading up to the property (naturally, given the area). 3. The lack of access to the house from the one downstairs bedroom without either going through the other bedroom where family members were sleepingleaving the patio door open all night. Otherwise, we couldn´t fault the property itself. Can´t think of anything!

The charm and views from the Villa are wonderful!

The charm and views from the Villa are just wonderful! From the moment you step onto the property you were overcome by the beauty of the view of the Mediterranean Sea. The Villa is nestled into the cliffs alongside locals and other villa rentals. There are approximately 70 steps to the Villa but we looked at it as a way to work off all the wonderful food along Amalfi coast! There is a wonderful grocery store that sells everything including wine and beer very close to the Villa. Also a bus stop and an amazing restaurant la Moressa with beautiful views serving breakfast lunch and dinner until 11pm. We took the bus often because it is so economical €1.7 however if we were in a hurry or tired we called a cab just be expected to pay approximately €70 to either Amalfi or Positano. The proximity of the Villa makes traveling to many places on the coast very easy. It is also nice to have a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day. With that being said there is a rooster who lives next door to the Villa! He will be sure to wake you bright and early so we found using the air conditioner helpful at night and we did not hear the noise when we did. But the rooster truly added to the charm of the place! The house is clean, rustic, well-equipped, and the layout is great for a family of four… Just be aware that the bottom two bedrooms (ground level) are joined together and one bedroom has to walk through the other to use the bathroom on that floor (or go up a flight to use main level bath. The ground level of the house has two nice size bedrooms and one full bath and also a lovely terrace with a views. The main level of the house is the kitchen, full bathroom, and living room. Beautiful terraces off every room! The upper level is the master bedroom with full bath and another wonderful and private terrace. The Villa has a washing machine and a new stainless refrigerator/freezer. Norman from SMAAC Realty was very accessible by phone and very helpful with everything! He met us at check-in and a porter carried our luggage up to the Villa. Overall we had an amazing trip and loved our experience in Praiano staying at Casa Fralisa!!

THE VIEW OF THE SEA IS VERY NICE ONCE YOU GET BEYOND THE PROPERTIES AND ROOFS BETWEEN THIS PROPERTY AND THE SEA. THE PROPERTY ALSO NEEDS SOME ATTENTION TOWARDS THE PEELING,CHIPPED AND BUBBLING PLASTER. THE WALLS ARE FADED AND DIRTY. THE BATHROOMS HAVE MOLD, BROKEN HARDWARE AND ONE WITH NO TOILET SEAT. BALCONY FURNITURE IS FALLING APART. THE KITCHEN HAS MINIMUM COOKING UTENSILS AND THERE IS AN OUTDOOR GRILL BUT WITHOUT WOOD OR CHARCOAL WHICH IS NOWHERE TO BE PURCHASED. ALSO BE AWARE OF THE 80 TO 100 STEPS ONE MUST CLIMB TO REACH THE PROPERTY SINCE IT IS NOT LOCATED ON A STREET AND MUST BE CLIMBED TO WITH YOUR LUGGAGE. IN SHORT, NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Nice Views of the Amalfi Coast!

First of all, I must say that I am blessed to have been able to visit the Amalfi Coast with my best friends. It was such an amazing experience and beautiful place. Anyway, while planning my visit many moons ago, my friend and I looked for houses and hotels on various websites and ultimately chose this location on VRBO due to the size, the more modern aesthetic, the cost compared to other villas in the vicinty, proximity to other towns and it being away from the super touristy areas. Also, the positive reviews from other guests helped with my decision. Pros: 1.The manager of the residence, Norman, was quite nice, responsive and knowledgeable about the area. He answered all of my emails within 24 hours which I appreciated. He helped answer all my silly / Type A questions and provided me with comfort in choosing this villa. 2. Nicely sized; 3 large bedrooms and 3 nicely sized bathrooms and a large kitchen 3. Great views of the water and landscape 4. Allowed us to check-in an hour early which was much appreciated. 5. Within [easy] walking distance (about a 3 min walk down the steps) from La Moressa restaurant and a local grocery store, which we went to buy beer, wine, cheese and freshly cut prosciutto for the casale. Delish! 6. TV / WIFI 7. Nicely working A/C. Cons: 1. The bathrooms were clean, but the bathroom by the upstairs bedroom had mold all over the shower, which is tiny, and the shower water pressure was pretty scarce. The shower pan flooded every time it was used and some water would leak out onto the floor. Also, the towel rack was broken and not put back in place. :-/ 2. The mattresses on all the beds were pretty bad. They were like thin form mattresses with springs in them. Collectively, this was everyone's biggest complaint. The pillows were not that great either, but they were doable. 3. The garden / yard was unkempt. Lots of ants (but nothing you can do about that) 4. Older plug outlets. Differ from what you will find in the more modern hotels / restaurants in the area.. 5.The STEPS! OMG!! I did not realize how many stairs there are in Praiano. Holy moly! My whole body is sore. LOL This is not really a complaint about the house specifically, but to get to all the popular restaurants in Praiano, it is about a 20 min walk of pure STAIRS and inclines. Overall, we had a good stay. The house is spacious and perfect for couples and friends. Do not bring kids to the Amalfi Coast. A horrible place for strollers and anyone under 10.

Charming villa

Casale Fralisa is a charming villa in Praiano. The pictures provide an accurate description of the property - we were not disappointed. The balconies and the garden area, all with views of the sea, are wonderful The layout on three floors worked well for us, a family of six. The property was very clean and well equipped. As noted in the description, there are 70-80 steps from the street level to the villa. Fortunately, Norman from SMAAC met us at our parking spot and had arranged for our luggage to be carried to the villa. Thank you, Norman, for all your help, not only with the luggage, but also with making restaurant reservations. As another reviewer noted, Norman was readily accessible by phone. On Norman's advice, we left our car (a small van) in the parking spot, rather than use it to navigate the narrow winding roads of the Amalfi Coast. Fortunately, there is a bus stop just a short walk from the villa. We took the local Praiano-Positano bus (rather than the more crowded SITA bus) to Positano on several occasions. We also took the bus to Positano, then the ferry between Positano and Amalfi, although we were advised that we could also get a water taxi from Praiano to Amalfi. One of the benefits of staying in Praiano, rather than Positano or Amalfi, is that it is much less crowded than either of those towns. Nevertheless, since Praiano does not have ferries, consideration should be given to the logistics of getting from Praiano to other towns on the Amalfi Coast. A grocery store (Tutto per Tutti) and a nice restaurant (La Moressa) are also a short walk from the villa. We very much enjoyed our stay at Casale Fralisa.

The most beautiful terrace I've ever relaxed on!

We had an amazing stay in Praiano at Casale Fralisa. We were 5 friends on vacation, and truly had an amazing and relaxing time in Praiano. We spent most days sun bathing on the terrace, cooling off every once in a while by the outdoor shower. The house is just a flight of stairs away from a great restaurant (La Moressa) where we had coffee every morning and dinner one night, and a market where you could get everything you need. The best thing we did was a private boat tour for a day with La Bellavita Charter - the best way to see the coast is by boat! We want to go back!
