Villa Antica es una residencia propiedad de la familia desde 1700 a la que se accede a través de una calle peatonal con 85 escalones. La Villa, de unos 90 metros cuadrados, se compone de una sala de estar, cocina, dos terrazas, dos dormitorios y dos baños dispuestos en dos niveles. Cuenta con aire acondicionado y una piscina panorámica al aire libre (7 metros de largo y 3 metros de ancho) con solárium. En el primer nivel hay: una terraza de 50 m2 con vista al mar, equipada con mesa con sillas y barbacoa; la sala de estar con techo abovedado, enriquecida con hermosos frescos, equipada con una mesa, televisión vía satélite y un sofá que se puede transformar en una cama cómoda; la cocina equipada con horno eléctrico, microondas, cafetera, lavavajillas y lavadora; el primer dormitorio principal con cama doble que conduce a otra terraza con fantásticas vistas al mar; El primer baño tiene una bañera de hidromasaje y secador de pelo.
En el segundo nivel hay: una terraza de 50 metros cuadrados con una impresionante vista al mar de la costa de Amalfi; el segundo dormitorio, equipado con una cama doble y acceso directo a la terraza; El segundo baño con ducha.
Se encuentra en el centro histórico de Praiano, desde donde se puede llegar fácilmente a restaurantes, bares y paradas de transporte público a los destinos turísticos más populares.

Absolutely amazing! This was a very historic house that was in pristine shape. The ceilings in the bedrooms, bathroom and entrance were stunning. And the view of the Mediterranean from the pool deck was unbelievable. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. On top of that, we mentioned that our anniversary was on that Thursday, and on Thursday, they delivered a "Happy Anniversary" cake. I would rate this property a 13 out of 10. I highly recommend this house.

The place is spectacular! The views are excellent the location is great 10 min from Positano. The attention to detail is amazing tiles and colors. It has everything you could need. Luigi was very responsive and a huge help in sharing details about the area and places to eat and shop etc. There are a good amount of steps but doable. We felt incredibly welcome. Highly recommend this property. Thak you thank you!

Amazing historical villa

Beautiful view, property, and pool. Gracious host. Gorgeous restoration with their family’s beautiful ceramics tiles. Totally loved our time. Praiano has delicious and welcoming restaurants too.

Wow! Beautiful stay!

The villa was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location - quiet and off the beaten path! The house was well appointed with comfortable beds and the swimming pool was a bonus! The kitchen was perfect to make meals at home and the views from the terrace were prime! Luigi was very helpful with information at check-in and told us stories of the original owners. 5 star stay!

Beautiful Villa

It was by far the nicest place we stayed in Italy. The owner, Luigi, went above and beyond at the beginning of our stay. The villa was stocked with everything you need. The pool was a great bonus after walking up all those stairs. The views were unbelievable from all the terraces. The bed was also comfortable.

If you like stairs the village of Praiano is your place. If you have any mobility issues I’d select another area. Loved it Luigi answered all of our questions and needs

Antike Villa

Ein gemütliches italienisches Haus. Sehr authentisch. Wir haben eine tolle erholsame Woche dort verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses und die Kleinigkeiten wie Olivenöl, Nudeln, Gewürze, Wein, Klopapier, Seife etc., die wir vor Ort fanden, haben uns sehr positiv gestimmt. Der Pool war toll. Die hungrigen Fische :) im Brunnen einfach nur süß. Alles war ganz im Grossen und Ganzen toll. Nur das Parken hat uns getrübt. Es gibt keinen Parkplatz am Haus. Wir mussten auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen parken, was leider nicht immer kostenlos möglich war bzw. nicht immer in der Nähe war. Man musste schon ein Stück laufen

Dreams do come true!

Simply unbelievable- the home, the location, the gracious host. A beautiful taste of Italy with gorgeous accommodations and views, great dipping pool, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. As with all houses in this area, dozens of steps to and from the home so make sure you have healthy legs and lungs. It’s worth every step. And big thanks to Luigi and family - such kind hosts with outstanding communication and hospitality. Thank you! Would stay at this home again and again!

Amazing Experience

Everything was even better than we could have imagined. The hospitality, views, pool, terrace and ambiance were perfect and Praiano is the perfect less-busy spot between Amalfi and Positano. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here and enjoy the breathtaking Amalfi coast.

Great place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast

We stayed for one week and used the villa to explore the Amalfi Coast and to spend some calm days at the villa with the breathtaking view from the terrace and pool. The host Luigi was always available and his son was a great support with the luggage and for check in. The villa offers everything you could think of, a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely pool, fully air-conditioned, comfortable beds etc.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing stay at this Villa. Luigi and his wife and son were very helpful with the planning of the trip and helped with some excursions during our stay. It is a very quiet and peaceful villa, however there are a lot of steps to get to the villa. My only complaint would be the walk to the villa with heavy luggage and wish that we were a little closer to the main town and restaurants.

Quiet Beautiful Villa

This villa is amazing with breathtaking views. The host provided great information relating to transportation services and recommendations. He also had snacks and food in the pantry which we used for a meal! The location is in a very quiet neighborhood so if you’re looking for peace away from the crowds, this is for you. It is a bit of a walk from any food and the closest pickup spot for a taxi is about a 5 minute walk. The cost of a taxi to Positano is ~€50. The nearest bus stop is about a 15 minute walk and it’s only a €2 ticket. WARNING** There are two types of buses; a smaller shuttle type bus and a large city type bus. We took the small one to Positano and tried to take the large one back to Praiano and ended up waiting an hour and a half because the larger one travels the entire Amalfi Coast. Stick to the smaller one if you can. Both are the same price. There are a LOT of stairs, however, it seems like the entire coast is like that. The pool was definitely a necessity for our 4 night stay. Our stay was in June and it’s toasty. Was nice to cool down after laying out, or after a long walk home. The closest beach is about a 20 minute walk down and 30 minute walk back up. Overall it was very spacious with great amenities and architecturally beautiful!

PHENOMINAL place to stay

Great place to stay in Praiano. A wonderfully appointed house, beautifully decorated and with a pool!. The views are spectacular as are the cool breezes that flow through the numerous windows. We LOVED this place.

Authentic and beautiful views.

Where do I begin? Luigi, from helping us with our luggage, (sorry we had so much of it.) Having soda, water, breakfast items for us, we even found pasta in the cupboard so we enjoyed a meal on the terrace. This family villa is absolutely breath talking. We took a day to lay pool side. There is a local bus just for Praiano. The Sita bus down the hill and a local bus that operates to and from Postiano. We took the local bus, its very easy to get in the morning, make sure you have change. We bought our tickets right on the bus for 1.80 euro one way to Postiano. Luigi's family owns the local ceramic factory in Postiano. Absolutely gorgeous tables and benches and more. The product hold s up in any type of weather. You must stop in and check it out for yoursef. The washer machine was a wonderful thing to have and I was able to dry my clothes rooftop in a day. All the details, soaps, shampoo, slippers, the bedding and comfortably slept well. The churchbells were beautiful to listen to. Enjoying a bottle of wine on the terrace. Watching the kids play soccer at the courts below. There are steps to get here. Your taxi will stop at the square, then a few steps, long pathway and more steps down. Yes i was out of breath on day one. Day 3 it got easier and easier. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!! It was so much nicer than being in the other busier towns. We loved every minute of it. A peaceful oasis.

Priano is a lovely quiet town away from the maddening crowds in Positano, Amalfi etc, but those places are easy to get to from Villa Antica. Sitting on the wonderful patio, you hear nothing but local boys playing futbol after school on the courts below and church bells. Some great restaurants. Especially loved Il Pino and Kasai. Pirate bar was great for cocktails during the day. Lots of stairs but your heart and legs will thank you later! The apartment was nicely laid out and we were so grateful for the coffee and jams and other eats that were there waiting on arrival. Luigi is great and we had zero issues with the apartment. (Everything in working order!) Views are as lovely as any other town along the coast. Great peaceful spot, we were very happy. Wish we’d stayed longer than five nights here!
