Villa Antica es una residencia propiedad de la familia desde 1700 a la que se accede a través de una calle peatonal con 85 escalones. La Villa, de unos 90 metros cuadrados, se compone de una sala de estar, cocina, dos terrazas, dos dormitorios y dos baños dispuestos en dos niveles. Cuenta con aire acondicionado y una piscina panorámica al aire libre (7 metros de largo y 3 metros de ancho) con solárium. En el primer nivel hay: una terraza de 50 m2 con vista al mar, equipada con mesa con sillas y barbacoa; la sala de estar con techo abovedado, enriquecida con hermosos frescos, equipada con una mesa, televisión vía satélite y un sofá que se puede transformar en una cama cómoda; la cocina equipada con horno eléctrico, microondas, cafetera, lavavajillas y lavadora; el primer dormitorio principal con cama doble que conduce a otra terraza con fantásticas vistas al mar; El primer baño tiene una bañera de hidromasaje y secador de pelo.
En el segundo nivel hay: una terraza de 50 metros cuadrados con una impresionante vista al mar de la costa de Amalfi; el segundo dormitorio, equipado con una cama doble y acceso directo a la terraza; El segundo baño con ducha.
Se encuentra en el centro histórico de Praiano, desde donde se puede llegar fácilmente a restaurantes, bares y paradas de transporte público a los destinos turísticos más populares.

The property is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space for 4 adults. The views from the patio and pool deck are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen, and were spectacular every day. Luigi and Virginia are exceptionally responsive and provided amazing restaurants and other re commendation. I would recommend the villa to anyone looking to spend time on the Amalfi coast.

Wonderful stay in a great villa in beautiful Praiano. The pictures really don’t do the property or the view justice! Loved the pool. Very helpful hosts. Especially kind helping with luggage on arrival and departure. The shuttle is invaluable for port, Positano and even the trip back up the hill from the road around San Gennaro. This place truly deserves all the positive reviews, we hope to return soon!

We stayed 4 nights as a family of 4, kids 16 ans 9, and it was absolutely wonderful. Luigi the host was so helpful with setting up travel plans while in town, the villa was beautiful, clean and exactly like the listing. The location was perfect. Short cab rides to places if you decide not to walk. One of our favorite things was the water tap - sparkling and still water at your service. Saved us and having to carry waters back from the market. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Praiano.

Our stay was fantastic at Villa Antica. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, and assisted with our luggage to the Villa. The property provided us with all we needed for our three day stay for our breakfast, as well as other condiments if we decided to stay in for cooking dinner at the Villa. It was our son’s birthday the day we arrived and Luigi, the owner, graciously provided us with Buon Compleano balloons and a delicious chocolate cake with candles. Overall the villa was awesome. The pool was clean and maintained and the rooms were spotless. Very comfortable for a family of four. Praiano is a very quiet and charming town. Lots and lots of steps. We walked to Marina di Praia for a beach day, which was about a 20 minute walk from the property. We also took the bus into Positano from Piazza San Luca which is around a 5 min walk from the villa. There is a great little market and restaurant called Moressa that I purchased most of our snacks and dinner from the night we stayed in at the villa. It’s about a 10 min walk. Overall I would love to return here with my family of four. Our kids loved it. We wedged this part of our trip between Rome and Sorrento, and it was a perfect quiet sanctuary nestled in the beautiful hills of Praiano. Many thanks to Luigi, Virginia and Agnello for making a memorable stay for us.

Everything about the villa is perfect. It is clean, well equipped etc but much better than that, it is truly authentic. It is traditional and steeped in history. We highly recommend to anyone who wants to feel like they are in a traditional Italian villa. The location is great. Shops and restaurants near by. Views incredible!Pool is also perfect after a lovely day sightseeing. Hosts excellent. Wine and breakfast items provided free of charge. So kind.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa with our young children. Luigi was an exceptional host—friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Our flight was delayed over four hours, yet he met us very late at night, escorted us to the villa, and even helped with our luggage. Throughout our stay, he checked in to make sure everything was going well and kept us informed about local festivals and activities.The villa was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. All appliances worked perfectly, the air conditioning was excellent, and the kitchen was well equipped for the dinners we cooked each night. The views were spectacular, and the spotless pool was perfect for cooling off in the summer heat.There are stairs to reach the villa, but we certainly didn’t mind the extra exercise after enjoying all the amazing food! The Church of San Luca is just steps away and was a wonderful parish for our family. The area was peaceful and quiet at night, which we loved.A bus stop is about a five-minute walk away, with service to Positano, Marina di Praia, and other destinations. Luigi promptly sent us the new schedule when this route began operating on August 1.The frescoed ceilings are stunning, and the beds were among the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. Parking was also not a problem a 10 min walk away. Thank you, Luigi, for everything. We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning!

PHENOMINAL place to stay

Great place to stay in Praiano. A wonderfully appointed house, beautifully decorated and with a pool!. The views are spectacular as are the cool breezes that flow through the numerous windows. We LOVED this place.

Wow! Beautiful stay!

The villa was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location - quiet and off the beaten path! The house was well appointed with comfortable beds and the swimming pool was a bonus! The kitchen was perfect to make meals at home and the views from the terrace were prime! Luigi was very helpful with information at check-in and told us stories of the original owners. 5 star stay!

Absolutely amazing! This was a very historic house that was in pristine shape. The ceilings in the bedrooms, bathroom and entrance were stunning. And the view of the Mediterranean from the pool deck was unbelievable. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. On top of that, we mentioned that our anniversary was on that Thursday, and on Thursday, they delivered a "Happy Anniversary" cake. I would rate this property a 13 out of 10. I highly recommend this house.
