The Gallagher Family

Great property very spacious. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom very warm in the evenings The outside pool was great, really enjoyed by our grandchildren. Although the area was buisy with traffic we had easy access to the beach and restaurants. All the family had a great vacation.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. Luxurious 5star stay. The appartment is in a great location and my family had the most memorable holiday. We will definitely return to this apartment and Olhos D'agua.

Great apartment

We were a group of 6 adults staying for 9 days in the apartment. We were met by Fatima on arrival who took us to the underground parking spaces, helped us with the lift up to the apartment and showed us around. We speak no Portuguese and only a little French so may have missed out on some instructions. We therefore had to contact Cecilia for details of the safety deposit box and access to a second set of keys but we had a prompt response which was very helpful. The rooms were all a good size and tastefully decorated and the apartment had a wonderful terrace which had 6 sunbeds (2 of which were wooden and a bit firm) and provided a good space for sunbathing and outdoor eating. The pool was clean and a good size but had no shared sunbeds for use. There were a couple of small sun chairs that we took down to the pool and on one occasion we took a sun lounger down as well. The location is very good with local beaches within walking distance along with some nice restaurants and a few bars. Some of our group also used Uber to get around and found this easy to use and at reasonable prices. The only minor points to note are that there are some building works on an adjacent plot which were a little noisy on the first day but generally weren't an issue. The air conditioning in the apartment also appeared to be at set temperatures which would have been more helpful if we could have adjusted down (this may have been us not understanding how to use). Overall we had a wonderful holiday.

Very comfortable space

We stayed here for 10 days, and really felt like home. The house is functional and it has all we needed. The Terrace is a great outside space, with sun at any time of day, and overlooking the pool, which was awesome when the kids went there on their own. The beds are in the harder side, which was not great for use but many love. The only downside is that the contact for check in only speaks french other than Portuguese, which was not a problem for us, but it might be for someone who has no other way to communicate.

Amazing Place

We have stayed at this incredible penthouse four times. It is in a great location with a large balcony, pool on site, bars and restaurants nearby. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away, as well as small shops and supermarkets which are just 5 minutes away.

Perfect for us

The location was perfect for us. Close to the beach but no noise. Restaurants near by and too many young people. Perfect for those of us over 50.

A wonderful time in Albufeira

From the moment we arrived in the condo, it was exactly as we expected. It was very large, uncluttered, modern and very clean. We loved the balcony that surrounded the complex. Cecilia was responsive to our requests and needs and had Fatima come over to respond to our requests. Communication was a bit difficult at times because we only speak English. However, Fatima was so sweet and wanted to make sure we understood her instructions. The location was ideal in that its 10 minutes from the beach and there are numerous restaurants in the area.

Lovely accommodation.

The apartment was as good as it looked in the photos, very spacious, clean and very well equipped. The pool was a great size. Restaurants, cafes, beach and shops all within easy reach and very close to bus stop. We loved our stay.

Family holiday

What a beautiful apartment! We had great communication with Cecilia before our arrival and once we got there Patricia was there to greet us and on hand if ever we needed a thing. The apartment was very clean and spacious and had everything we could possibly need for our visit. Despite the odd review we had no problem with our Wi-Fi so the four teens were happy. The complex and the area were great. We timed our trip perfectly as the Sardine Festival was in town on our final night which was a fun night out for the whole family. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking this place.

Nice apartment

Great location and lovely big apartment. Easy walk to everything you need and if not Uber great form transport. Holiday started with a bump but once we got into apartment was not disappointed

Wonderful place for a family vacation

The condo was perfect. Everything as advertised. The pool was very nice and never crowded, and the walk to the beach was easy. Definitely would stay here again.

Lovely spacious apartment

This is a well appointed apartment with generous rooms in a quiet block but close to the beach and restaurants. It also has everything you need in your home from home. The only reason it isn't 5 star overall is the wifi, which we lost altogether during our stay, but was quickly sorted by the excellent property manager, Patricia. However, we could only get a signal in the living room and nowhere else. For future guests some information on how to access the safe in the apartment and retrieving the apartment keys so you can access the lift would be useful. We only discovered this after dragging the cases up several flights! These are minor issues however and easily resolved. We would definitely return to this apartment in future.

Wonderful place to stay

We have stayed at this amazing apartment three times and have consistently been enamored with its location, the breathtaking balcony, and the proximity of the pool to bars and restaurants. Additionally, it takes only 30 minutes to reach the beach from the apartment.

Excellent apartment.

Loved staying here! We stay a few times a year in Olhos in various properties. This has to be one of the best. The owner mentions that the WiFi will be updated in a previous response to a review. I hope this happens because this is the only downside. I work while I am on holiday and the WiFi is only available in the living room.

Heerlijk groot appartement

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in een fijn appartement. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd en zijn veel op pad geweest. Het appartement was goed voor elkaar. Tip: verzorg strandhanddoeken of geef aan dat je die zelf mee moet nemen. Verder hadden wij 3 badkamers verwacht maar dat licht wellicht aan onze (NL) omschrijving van een badkamer. Bij ons geldt een toilet niet als een badkamer. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug in deze omgeving!

12 night stay June ‘22

2nd visit to this property in 3 years. Wonderful apartment and renting experience was first class. Great location with wonderful views from the balcony which wraps around the property. 3 spacious rooms and modern kitchen leading to an updated outside area from last time we visited. Apartment is very safe and secure and the automatic shutters are a great addition. Only a couple of things which could be improved on would be the non master bedrooms which have very hard mattresses and also the bed frame is very low in the 4 poster room. The wifi signal is only available in the living room generally and very poor (8-10mb). Not easy to stream from multiple devices if more than 1 person is trying. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property

The pictures of the property looked fab and was even more amazing in real life. Lovely pool view. Huge balcony. Great for a larger family or group. Would recommend this apartment and would 100% stay here again.

Stunning Apartment

This is an amazing Apartment and worth every penny. Chic and Modern high end Luxury we could not fault it. A bit of a misunderstanding around check in but we got it sorted eventually. Would we recommend...yes absolutely 100% We plan to return .
