About this property

Traditional Cornish Cottage with sweeping sea views

4 bedroomed traditional Cornish Cottage which sleeps 8 people in proper beds plus a travel cot for an infant. Large sitting room with dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The Cottage has a courtyard for relaxing and outdoor dining. There is unreserved tandem parking at the front of the Cottage with further free parking close by. The Cottage has central and underfloor heating as well as a wood burner.

There are sweeping sea views from the first and second floors across Mounts Bay and the historical fishing harbour of Newlyn. The Cottage is 2 minutes from the sea and is a perfect base for visiting the many coves and attractions of Cornwall and for enjoying walking the coastal path.
During school summer holidays we can only accept full week bookings Saturday to Saturday.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Wonderful stay in beautiful accommodation. Everything had been thought of- we had come prepared with potato masher, salt & pepper and lasagne dishes but didn’t need them! All communication was clear and timely, a lovely selection of local Cornish products as a welcome pack. Instructions clear and didn’t need to ask about anything that wasn’t in them. Would definitely stay again!

A lovely cottage, in a great location with good facilities. Beverley the host is extremely helpful, friendly and has packed the cottage full of ideas for when Cornwall's weather is at its best, and things to do when it isn't. Apologies to the neighbours for our raucous Articulate games! Should you stay, you must head out to the The Tolcarne for dinner.

Wir waren zu fünft und Cornwall für 2 Wochen in Cornwall. Das Cottage war ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unsere Aktivitäten. Das Haus hat bequem für bis zu 8 Personen Platz. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet. Jederzeit wieder gern.

Cottage mit Stil

Ein stilvolles, altes Cottage mitten im alten Ortskern von Newlyn, geschmackvoll renoviert. Große, top-moderne Küche, gemütlicherEsszimmer und Wohnzimmer. Die Terrasse im Backyard umrahmt von alten Steinmauern war mein Lieblingsplatz! Alle wichtigen Läden und viele Restaurants in 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Einen Parkplatz zu finden ist allerdings eine Herausforderung! Aber mit etwas Geduld haben wir im Wohngebiet auf der anderen Seite immer was gefunden. Dafür hört man im Haus absolut keinen Staßenlärm. Sehr angenehm. Insgesamt ein tolles Haus für 8 Leute. Gerne wieder!

Very lovely cottage, great location, clean and very comfortable

The cottage is located up quite a steep hill, and the parking outside is very limited. But we just parked around the corner in local free parking spaces and walked to the cottage. The cottage itself is very well kept and modern but with a cosy cottage feeling. Well equipped and we found it big and comfortable enough for the 6 of us. A very enjoyable 5 days away

Absolutely brilliant

This cottage is superb. Couldn't fault it in anyway .. Was here for a wedding so was out most of Saturday. All 7 adults were mega impressed with the cottage..I will reccomend this to anyone I know heading to Cornwall. We are hoping to do an annual trip from now on to see our friends up here.. Excellent amenities.. Cottage was spotless.. Loved the scones,clotted cream and jam you left for us too. Am addicted now. Many thanks .

Maison pleine de charme. Rénovation de qualité avec pleins de petits détails. Toutes les chambres sont agréables et avec une bonne literie (mention ++ pour la chambre du haut et sa vue). Hôte superbe également : des gâteaux frais nous attendaient sur la table à notre arrivée, un panier plein de documentations sur les choses à faire, des jeux pour les enfants... On sent que tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien dans cette maison. Juste un petit - pour le stationnement. On y reviendra avec plaisir et on aimerait que tous les logements soient a ce niveau.

Lovely Cottage near the harbour

The cottage is beautifully kept, very clean with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, luxury towels and bedding, kitchen cupboards fully stocked with quality tableware, lots of thoughtful extra touches too. The harbour area is perfect for a stroll into Penzance or Mousehole, lovely sandy beaches and coves a short drive away. From the cottage terrace there are lovely views of the sea and St Michaels Mount in the distance and pretty views from the back bedroom windows. Parking at the cottage is a bit of a challenge but there is plenty of free road parking within walking distance.

Fantastic place

We had a fantastic time in Beverley's cottage. The pictures online don't do it justice. It is a charming, peaceful place to relax in. Our family of seven felt at home and had plenty of space. The kitchen had all we needed for making our meals and there were plenty of games to play. We also enjoyed being in Newlyn and walking up the hill to get home. Beverly was very helpful. If we ever are able to travel to the area in the future, we'd definitely book this place again. Thanks, Beverley!
