Rustic 16th century house with private pool and sea views welcomes 6 guests in Esporles
You will not only enjoy a refreshing dip in the private pool but also admire the sea views and the nature around this magnificent finca. The chlorine pool sizes 11 x 8 metres and it has a depth between 0.5 and 1.9 metres. You will find several sunbeds and a parasol by the pool, as well as several tables to enjoy the good weather taking a vermouth before lunch in this incredible and special environment. Another more table next to the house and under the awning is ideal to spend great family evenings. There is a gas barbecue and a fixed barbecue although this latter can only be used from November 1 to April 30, since from May 1 to October 31 it is forbidden to fire because of the type of wooded land there is. The property is fenced and the maintenance staff lives in the house at the other side of the patio.

This is a 16th century house that has been restored. It has 250 m2 in two floors with amazing rustic details like the wooden beams and the stoned facade. From the terrace we get into the original kitchen which will lead you to another age with its stoned sink, its original tiles and the cupboard too. It also has a gas stove and a little table with chairs to prepare breakfasts in the morning, as well as a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. From the kitchen we get into the dining room with very well cared rustic furniture and space for 6 people. From there we access the patio or hall outdoors to enter the other side of the house where you will find the ample and luminous living room. As the rest of the house, it features incredible details and antique furniture, with comfortable chairs and sofas to rest and disconnect, and it also has a fireplace to warm up on the coldest days. You will find another little living room upstairs to watch the TV set with access to another terrace and the bedrooms. There are three bedrooms with fan and wardrobe. The first one has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. The second has twin beds, and the last one has a double bed. There is another bathtub bathroom for the rest of the house. The house features also central heating for the winter season. We can prepare a cot and a high chair if you are travelling with a baby.

The house is located in Esporles and it is ideal for hiking and excursions, as well as visiting other towns and places of interest like Puigpunynet , Puig de Galtazo, Establiments... At the foot of Sierra de Tramuntana, the visit to the Deia, Valldemossa and Soller triangle is a must visit. Playa the Palma is the nearest beach only 15 km away, and of you like golf, the nearest course is only 15 km away. You will find all basic services for an independent stay in this lovely village.

La prioridad es magnífica, la vista es impresionante. ¡Pasamos una gran estancia! Las noches son tranquilas, los días también, lo que nos permitió descansar bien. Palma está a 25 minutos en coche, lo que es muy apreciable. Sin mencionar la amabilidad y la benevolencia de Ana y su marido. ¡Pasarás una estancia estupenda si vienes a su casa!

Tolles Haus, mit einem atemberaubenden Blick nach Palma. Wer ganz viel Ruhe braucht und mag, ist hier genau richtig, man hört nur mal die Ziegen von weiten. 30min braucht man nach Palma City, bergauf sind es ca 15min, teilweise Single-Track bis zum Haus. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, reichlich Handtücher für Bad und für den Pool.Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, aber trotzdem war die Temperatur angenehm. Die Eigentümer wohnen direkt daneben, aber man bekommt sie überhaupt nicht mit, sind aber da, wenn man etwas benötigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

Das Objekt als solches toll. Die Lage , sofern man es wirklich ruhig will , absolut fantastisch. Zufahrt geht auch im Dunkeln . Was nicht schön war , wenn das Haus für 4-6 angeboten wird , als Kochgeschirr 1 Topf Mittel 2 Pfannen Mittel fertig das Kochgeschirr. Etwas mager . Das restliche Geschirr naja, sollte man erstmal reinigen. Vom Geschirr im Essraum rate ich ab , schätze mal seit Monaten kein Wasser mehr gesehen. Betten konnte man sehr gut schlafen. Im großen und ganzen sehr schöne erholsame Tage. Fam. Hoff

Urtypische Finca mit absoluter Ruhe mitten in den Bergen

Die Finca ist eine absolute Empfehlung für alle die es absolut ruhig, fernab von jeglichem Trubel haben möchten. Sie ist sehr alt, hat dafür aber den typischen Charm einer klassischen Finca. Die Fahrt zur Finca ist ein kleines Abenteuer und dauert seine Zeit. Für diejenigen die Wissen was sie wollen ist es genau das Richtige!

Der Urlaub war insgesamt sehr schön und erholsam

Der Urlaub war insgesamt sehr schön und erholsam, die Lage ist toll. Spannend war, dass die zwar ruhigen Gastgeber aber unmittelbar im anderen Haustrakt wohnen. Vorteil: Schnelle Erreichbarkeit, Nachteil: Wer sich eine Finca ohne Nachbarn erwartet, wird hier möglicherweise etwas enttäuscht sein. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Pool wie auf den Bildern ersichtlich, den wir aber mangels schönem Wetter nicht nutzen konnten. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns bei Problemen rasch und zielführend geholfen. Restaurants sind nicht in der Nähe und spärlich vorhanden und eine Anfahrt zur Finca am späten Abend ist aufgrund des nicht beleuchteten, teilweise steilen Weges herausfordernd. Wir haben uns daher auch immer selbst versorgt und am Abend in der Unterkunft gegessen (Gasgrill vorhanden). Grundsätzlich war es für uns eine neue Erfahrung und es ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass wir wieder so einen Urlaub machen.

Amazing place

This is an amazing place, we absolutely loved it! I almost don't want to sing its praises too much as we want to keep it a secret! We will be booking it again for sure. We were there over the Christmas holidays, and we had a great time. The location is incredible if you want a secluded holiday as its up in the mountains overlooking Palma, which is only a 35 minute drive. The walking and views around the property are superb, and next time we go I am bringing a mountain bike. The house is incredible, a real authentic Mallorcan farmhouse set amongst olive groves with stunning views. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owners, Damian and Anna, are incredibly friendly and helpful and live in another house on the property. When we arrived they had a fire lit and christmas tree already set up! They sorted out anything we needed straight away, but we felt the entire place was ours. They use a AirBNB management agency, who the site refers to as Franz, but really you will be in contact with the owners which was great. It was great to meet them and they both made us feel at home. The beds are great, they had really nice duvets, towels, bath soaps, shampoo and even hairdryers. The rooms are really nice, and the main bedroom looks out over the pool and onto Palma. In terms of local amenities, the closest village is Esporles which is a 15 drive and is a lovely town offering a Saturday market. There are a number of shops, and a bank and a few coffee shops and bars, and a pharmacy. Its a great real local village. There is a large Carrefour Supermarket on the outskirts of Palma 25 minutes away that has everything you could possibly want and amazing quality, great seafood (everything you could imagine), cheese, meats, wine and is the equivalent to a Waitrose in the UK or similar to a Whole Foods (but not as expensive!) in the States. All in all we loved this place, and as I said, we will be booking again--this time in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. Many thanks to Damian and Anna, and we wish them good luck and hope to see them again soon!

Pour nous SOBREMUNT est un petit coin de paradis, une vieille maison de pierres, pleine d'histoires à n'en pas douter, au milieu des oliviers, des orangers et des citronniers. Les brebis, les oiseaux pour seuls compagnons de voisinage... avec Anna et Damian bien sûr, les propriétaires des lieux, des hôtes extrêmement accueillants, passionnées et passionnants! Une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie de Palma et sa cathédrale depuis l'immense terrasse à notre disposition - nous aurions pu y rester des heures... Le coin est tout particulièrement sympa avec de magnifiques villages alentours. La "vraie Majorque" pour reprendre l'expression de Damian. Comme tout coin privilégié, il faut le mériter, un bon quart d'heure de petite route, pas toujours en bonne état et sinueuse, depuis un "grand axe"... à ce propos, nous donnons un petit tuyau aux futurs hôtes de Sobremunt, depuis l'aéroport suivre la direction de Puygpunyent et non d'Esporles.

Beautiful landscape, view and outdoor space. Clean, friendly hosts (and sheep) and comfortable beds. Note that it is very traditional and rustic style. An SUV is recommended since it's accessible by mountain roads.

SILENCE - STILLE und ein atemberaubender Blick über Palma ist das, was wir mit Sopremunt immer in Verbindung bringen würden. Eine absolut authentische Finca im Nichts. Wir fanden es wunderbar. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit (sie leben im Nebengebäude). Das Haus ist fantastisch und individuell eingerichtet. Jedes Detail scheint eine Geschichte zu erzählen. Die Betten sind gut! Gute Matrazen! Man ist umgeben von Schafen und Olivenbäumen. In nur 25 Minuten den Berg runter nach Palma. Im Dunkeln würden wir die Strecke nicht so gerne fahren wollen - schon teilweise steil und kurvenreich. Ohne Beleuchtung. Ist man dann aber dort, bleibt der Alltag draußen. Für (kleinere) Kinder gibt es ein paar gefährlichere Stellen (Treppengeländer im Haus) und am Pool. Aber unser vierjähriger hat das gut gemeistert. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Ein voller Erfolg. Lovely base to walk the mountains.

Lovely base to walk the mountains. It’s quite out of the way so if you want to eat out you would need to drive. The surrounding roads are not for the faint hearted but perfectly drivable. We had a fantastic stay here. Loved the location, kind and friendly hosts and the gorgeous pool area with fabulous views. Highly recommend it.

Un petit paradis

Nous sommes une petite famille avec 2 enfants et nous avons reçu un accueil fabuleux avec des propriétés d une grande gentillesse . Nous y retournons sans hésitation , pour la vue extraordinaire , le calme et la nature de la Tramuntana . A unique and wonderful place to stay.

Views to die for. A haven of nature and wildlife. Wonderful, kind and generous hosts. There aren't many places like this that are so unspoiled, homely and that have so much history. The house is an old olive pressing farm (with parts dating back to the 13th and 17th centuries) with extraordinary views over the bay of Palma, surrounded by ancient olive trees, sheep, wild goats and fields of wild flowers (in spring). The house itself is simple, rustic, but very tastefully done with many personal touches relating to the owners' family with a simple pool and outside chairs and tables under the orange and lemon trees. It's 15 minutes off the beaten track, but only 35 minutes to Palma, 15 minutes to Esporles, 35 minutes to Valdemossa, 45 minutes to Deia.
