Why Owner chose Tower Hamlets
Getting around 5 minute walck to Stephney Green Station 12 minutes walk to bethnal Green 10/12 minutes walk to witechapel station Financial district. For this reason, many city workers choose to live in converted warehouses/lofts in this part of town, even though it is historically linked with events like the Blitz, the Ripper murders and the Kray brothers gangland antics! As well as appealing to wealthy bankers, you’ll also find many council blocks in Whitechapel, so the area displays a diverse cross-section of society. The transport links into the City and West End are brilliant, some people may even be able to walk into their workplace. Whitechapel itself doesn’t offer a huge amount in terms of entertainment (aside from the Genesis cinema) if you want lovely riverside pubs you can walk to Wapping, which is also in E1. If you’re interested in more of an evening scene, head to the bars and pubs in Shoreditch If you enjoy browsing through markets, then you’re in for a real treat, as you have Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Columbia Road markets in the vicinity. Location-wise the area is fantastic, but as with anywhere in Zone 1 or 2 of London, it comes with quite a high price tag.
