We're just West of Scottsville, Ky., East of Bowling green, Ky. (home to Western Kentucky University), and North of Nashville. My wife and I are Spanish Interpreters, great location if you speak Spanish (si se habla Espanol) or if you want a weekend of immersion training! The cabin is close to the Corvette Museum, :40 minutes from Mammoth Cave and Cave City, :45 minutes from Nashville. In addition, Western Kentucky Univ boasts a beautiful campus with plenty of events to choose from, USA Football Conference Champs and a fantastic Lady Topper Basketball Team! Come and stay with us for family day(s) or key family events on campus or in the community; holidays, extended weekends, special events, or just to get away. Try our farm fresh eggs and a Venezuelan style breakfast as part of your stay, you may not want to leave.

Wonderful get away from the city and people!!
We couldnt make a better choice. I am so happy we stayed here. Everything is just wonderful. My little girl enjoyed everything, the house, the animals, the land, the river, and the Walkers. My hubby and I are already planning to come back again next summer. Loved it!
Had an absolutely great time here - the family loved it!
Really enjoyed our stay especially visiting the farm animals, fossil hunting at the creek, and watching the fireflies at dusk. And the breakfasts and coffee were a great touch. Definitely want to come back again some day!
We had such an amazing stay and cannot wait to return! What a beautiful property! I finished a 475 page book on the screened in porch in 1 day! The kids had a wonderful time fishing in the pond and playing with the goats, especially the baby that we got to bottle feed! My husband enjoyed kyacking and fishing. We were absolutely amazed by the kindness of the Walker’s. We were brought an amazing breakfast, coffee, and hot chocolate every morning we were there! Please do not be discouraged by reviews about the owners property being so close to this cabin. They are not intrusive, they do their thing and let you do yours. They are very welcoming. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this is the place to go! We got in the car to leave and we were already looking at the calendar to see when we could return!!!
We loved it these...so beautiful and peaceful...cant wait to come again
We loved our stay... they was so nice and breakfast was good... We loved still being very close to the places we visited..thank you for your kindness and sharing your cabin with us
We left as fast as we could after seeing the cabin. No cell, TV, or WIFI. Owner lives 40' away!
We left as fast as we could and did not stay! We did not hear from the owners as to our whereabouts after promptly leaving after the cabin "tour". We are guessing this has happened in the past. VRBO policy states that it can remove any comments. Please do not remove this one. Front door faces owners front door by about 40 feet. We were given rules as if we were children such as "first rule, take off your shoes". We were treated as if we were homeless and she was making a concession to house us with specific guidelines. There are goats , pigs, etc. Right out the back door. She told us if we let them out of the gate that we were going to get our exercise because we would have to chase them to get them back ourselves. They advertise this ad as honeymoon retreat option? We have no intention on staying on a farm while the uptight owner stares at us. NO PRIVACY. This is a farm! We were greeted by large barking dogs running free! The beds were extremely dated and there were 2 air mattresses in the crawl space "loft". Not a getaway for any couple or especially family! She asked us about breakfast and said she only makes " certain basic things". NOT advertised as a bed and breakfast! Owner argued about providing a key stating "we leave the cabin unlocked"
It's a shame that we weren't afforded the opportunity to respond and would have certinally compensated to ensure a memorable experience; however, I strongly recommend reading our listing before accepting and paying for your future stay. We have painstakingly included all details as well as photos that allow potential guests to make an informed decision before committing to a stay. With that said, we certainly appreciate the easy cleanup and recovery after Dieona's visit for the family of 5 that absolutly LOVED their stay with us! David
Great spot. Hospitality was kind and generous. Animals, peace, land....just gorgeous. The cabin is just right for a group of 3 - 5. Or 1 in my case. Screened in porch was where I spent most my time. Kitchen was nicely supplied with cookware, etc. Beds were comfy. A.C. comfortable. Hot water in the shower with water pressure. I will be back
