NEW for 2025 Starlink WiFi antenna for garden access also A magnificent villa that has provided many families and friends with a fantastic holiday! The villa has a new kitchen and lounge/salon. The villa is ideally suited to extended families and friends. Couples find the location truly romantic, in peaceful and quiet surroundings, and will also benefit from discounted rates. The accommodation is on one level, nearly 300m² in total with 4 double bedrooms, 3 en suite bathrooms and 1 further bathroom. There is 1 twin room and 3 double rooms. There is a cot for babies. Fans are in all the rooms for summer, with radiators for the colder months. The kitchen and dining area seats 10 people comfortably, with granite worktops and all modern facilities. There is a Firestick with Netflix and 100's films, series along with most other channels in over 20 different languagues., & HiFi Stereo. Internet access is free and unlimited with 2 routers to allow outside coverage next to the pool for all clients. The villa has parking for 4 cars within the grounds, with 9x 5m pool. The nearest restaurant /bar is 900m. Frigiliana is 5 mins by car. Nerja/Beach 15 mins, by car. Walking to the village is 35/40 mins via the shortcut. NB - Access road is a concrete road not a dirt track so access via normal car or scooter is fine.

A fantastic house in wonderful surroundings

An accommodation that gets the highest ratings from us. The children, ages 9-14, loved the pool, which was deep and big enough for all the swimming you could want. We never tried walking to Frigiliana, always taking the car, but the car journeys to and from the house every day were a wonderful experience in themselves.A calm feeling everytime when we came "home" from our day trips. Easy and close contact with our host, before, during and after our trip.

Incredible location

This villa has the most amazing views. The property was lovely. It was clean and spacious. Very easy to deal with Melanie who ensured we got our keys in Canada before we left on this trip. Frigliana is a wonderful town with many nice restaurants and little stores. We would love to come back again.

Quiet and relaxing 2023

This was a rural retreat (wish I could paint), very relaxing, pool was heaven. Age range between 9 - 67 local restaurants as discribed in the villa folder. Locals are really friendly and helpful, don’t worry about the access, thanks.

Very nice holiday

We, a family of four people, have checked out today after 11 days in the house. I already miss it. The house has such a character, it is a feel good house. The patio is lovely, to sit there with the fantastic view is a good memory from the holiday. The interior is also excellent, all the rooms are nice and spatious. The kitchen has everything. The owners provides genuin local information about what to do in the surroundings, also got good information from the owners by mail. Thanks for a nice stay in your beautiful house. / Anita Lindgren

Nicely renovated farm house.

I have to agree with previous reviews. The house is nicely renovated and has beautiful views of the mountains and sea. Beds are comfortable and have good mattresses. What's needed during the summers are AC units in the bedrooms. When returning from dinner, temperatures are 30 degrees plus in the rooms as all bedrooms are facing west and get full afternoon sun. There is also no dishwasher so everything has to be hand washed. We never found any mountain bikes as mentioned on the website?

Amazing vacation and villa!

We enjoyed a spectacular vacation at Cortijo Silos. The accommodations could not have been more beautiful and had everything to offer. There were 3 familys staying, one from CA, NY and Belfast UK and we agreed it was all we could ask for - plenty of space and quiet solitude when needed. Four bedrooms (beds were incredibly comfortable), 2 ensuite, 1 adjacent bathrooms as well as one in for a quick trip in from the pool. The kitchen was immaculate and had every pan, bowl, dish, utensils available to make any meal. However, it was the outside of the house where the real joy came in. The 360 degree views were breathtaking. Lounging around by the pool, taking in the quiet and beautiful surroundings was what really made our vacation truly relaxing and special. We enjoyed the restaurants, sights and sounds of Frigiliana and Nerja but looked forward to going back "home" every evening. Can't recommend the beautiful villa enough and will have plenty of memories to cherish from this very special vacation indeed.

Lovely villa needs just a bit of a tweak

Great villa, 7 adults in 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms could do with bath mats, anti slip mat as you need to get in the bath for a shower, I did actually slip, we had to use tea towels in the bath and on the floor. One of the shower heads had lime scale so just a trickle. Could do with toilet roll holders. No extra towels or bed linen, one of the double bedrooms had no wardrobe or drawers, not great for a 2 week stay. Kitchen had plenty cutlery and crockery but lacking cooking utensils etc, had to buy a wooden spoon as nothing to stir with. Minor things that can easily be rectified. Lovely pool and garden but no parasols for shade on the sunbeds, had to buy them. For the price it should've really been spot on. Only 2 sets of keys gor 7 people too was a bit inconvenient.

Maison belle decouverte

Maison très atypiques et grande . La salle de bain dans presque chaque chambres. très belle extérieur . Les petites attention des propriétaires étaient agréables. La maison était en montagne avec une belle vue sur la mer au loin mais seul bémol c est la route d accès qui mène à la maison elle est très étroites (parfois 2 voitures ne passe pas l un à côté de l autre . Heureusement pas trop de circulation….

Una casa maravillosa en un pueblo precioso. Desde el jardín se ve el mar y la puesta de sol es magnífica. Lo malo es que para llegar a la casa hay que recorrer un camino de 900mts muy estrecho y complicado. Por lo demás, fantástico.

Gorgeous little place with with stunning views!!!

The property is a short drive from Frigiliana but it’s worth it! You can also walk if you are happy to tackle a few small hills, we did it in the afternoon so the beer was welcome when we made it!! On arrival at the villa when the big gates open the pool and outside area look great, inside you will find a rustic farm house style villa with all the equipment and comforts you need!! There were 7 of us and space was plentiful, with 3 double rooms and a twin. Outside the BBQ was great and we spent many evenings cooking and drinking wine, the outside space was a real hit. There is no air con and we knew that when booking, but the owner has provided fans for every room, due to temperatures it was hot during the night but it doesn’t spoil anything. The owners are responsive and keen to ensure you have a good time with excellent communication. Would we stay there again? Definitely, we had a fab stay, just a shame we had to come home!!!

Beautiful views in the mountains

Very quiet and peaceful location, however you WILL need a car. The house is a good 5 minute drive up from Frigialana, and down a very bumpy track (no good for any car with a low suspension). The walk into Frigiliana is an 'energetic' walk and is more than 30 minutes realistically - unless you are a fell runner.. ! The house itself is well set out, although one bedroom has to share a shower as it doesn't have an ensuite. Pool and outside area is lovely too. It was a good spot for visiting Frigialana and Nerja. There is a bus service between these two towns if you time your visits around the bus timetable.

Great holiday

The house is big enough for 4 adults and 4 kids. The pool was absolutely awesome! The garden is big and it's always possible to find a shady place. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, big fridge and also a nice outdoor BBQ. The view is astonishing and the property is private but still only 20 minutes to the beach by car. I absolutely recommend this fantastic place!

Erg mooie locatie en goed te bereiken vanaf de snelweg. Huis is zeer ruim, wij waren met twee gezinnen en in totaal 5 kinderen (1 - 6 jaar) en voldoende privacy doordat de kamers ver uit elkaar liggen. Mooie tuin en fijn zwembad.

Schones Ferienhaus mit Blick aufs Meer

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit unserer 9 köpfigen Familie. Das Haus und die Anlagen sind sehr schön und der Ausblick ist besonders schön. Hiermit bedanke ich mich für die schöne Urlaubszeit in Namen aller . Küche und Wohnzimmer sind sehr geräumig.Schlafzimmer waren auch gut. Terrasse und Pool Super!! Würden dieses Haus sofort wieder buchen.

Very comfortable cottage with everything you needed.

That cottage was well situated with superb views. The pool was excellent. Unfortunately there were a lot of ants in the kitchen area but keeping everything cleaned away immediately and some strategic ant powder made it bearable. You also need to accept they were there first!. Overall a very enjoyable holiday made special by the lovely cottage. Would recommend every time, a great place to stay.

Fijne woning, met heerlijk zwembad en terras met ligbedden. Ruime keuken, fijne slaapkamers en badkamers. Huis zag er netjes uit; enig minpuntje is het meubilair in de woonkamer; dit is wat gedateerd. Het uitzicht is werkelijk schitterend! Via een heuvelachtige wandeling van een kleine 4 km kom je in het mooie dorp Frigiliana. Een prachtig wit dorpje met genoeg winkeltjes en restaurants. Alle informatievoorziening (zoals de routebeschrijving) van de eigenaar was zeer goed op orde. Prettig contact via e-mail.

Larger than the photos, peaceful, perfect!

The house was exactly as described, larger than the photos suggest and felt very open and airy. It was perfectly clean and everyone said how comfortable the beds were. We were a party of 7 celebrating my birthday, afraid we didn't eat out as we were having such a wonderful rest at the property, helped by the peace and quiet. There is a wonderful forest setting behind and so many birds singing then stunning views to the coast in front. All we really did was enjoy being together, lots of BBQ's, swimming and chilling. Just what we needed. Would recommend to anyone who wants a similar holiday - also really good value for money. Note.... directions are good, but don't make my mistake. There was a commotion going on outside the Venta restaurant so I missed my turn to the property, and continued on until I found what turned out to be a second, but named Cortijo Venta restaurant! If you get that far turn back. Many thanks again, we had a wonderful holiday.

A lovely property ,just as described.It's really well maintained ,private and in a great location less than 10 minutes drive to Frigiliana ( you do need a car ) with fantastic views. Any queries were dealt with really quickly by the owners.

We fully enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend it to families who wish a relaxing vacation. We had days by the pool, enjoying the beautiful view and day trips. The house is very nice and suitable for big families or friends traveling whith children:) We hope to be back😀
