An 18th century listed stone cottage with spectacular views

Welcome to our beautiful cottage. Situated in the small hamlet of Borrowby near Staithes in the North York Moors, Ivy Cottage is an 18th century listed stone cottage surrounded by open countryside with spectacular views to the coast. It is an idyllic country cottage retaining many original features, with modern services, a large garden with children's play furniture and parking.
It has been tastefully decorated and has exposed beams throughout. Ivy Cottage provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to seven people. It is a detached property set in its own extensive lawned garden bounded by traditional dry-stone walls, making it an ideal location for your holiday.

Downstairs
The small front door opens into the cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas and tv/dvd. Off the sitting room is a spacious conservatory with beautiful views to the coast. The dining room has a large table and sideboard with radio/cd player, from here the back door opens onto the garden. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a range of crockery and utensils. A separate pantry with fridge provides ample storage space

Upstairs
All bedrooms have sloping ceilings and exposed beams with attractive pine furniture. There is a large family room with a double and single bed; a double bedroom with stripped floor; twin bedroom with views to the coast. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower over it

Outside
The enclosed lawned gardens and patio area enjoy an open outlook with beautiful views. There are swings and a slide in the garden for children. Garden furniture and a barbeque are provided for guests use.

The area has numerous attractions in a short distance of the cottage, including clean, sandy beaches, quaint old fishing villages, traditional villages and village pubs.
