We were actually given a different apartment next ...
We were actually given a different apartment next to the one we reserved. At first, we did not think this was any big deal, but as it turns out there was much more traffic along the apartment we were given and that made it more problematic with our doggies. We even once received an SMS when our doggies started barking due to the loudness of passers-by, which would have been avoided had we been given the proper apartment. The apartment was a basic apartment, which suited us fine, though the quality of the equipment was lower than what we had expected and the bed was below average. The most disconcerting experience during our stay was that the owner went into our apartment and took out some furniture towards the end of our stay without letting us know beforehand. This caused a bit of a shock that furniture was missing, though a simple SMS or email prior would have cleared it all up. You do not rent an apartment to someone and then remove furniture without letting them know. We were using the furniture and had to adjust and make do without it, which was very poor service from our host. The lady who met us upon arrival, Zdenka, was great! The location and proximity to the sea were also great.
