Casa meravigliosa con giardino e splendido patio esterno direttamente affacciata sul mare. Titti una perfetta padrona di casa, sempre presente x una chiacchiera e un consiglio. Posizione strategica x visitare Noto, Siracusa, Taormina, etna, alcantara, Modica, Scicli e molto altro.

Homely holiday house

We enjoyed our holiday in Titti's lovely house. Being directly on the sea was fantastic. We had a good time on the nearby beaches and visiting the impressive cities Noto and Syracuse. The little house is beautifully fitted, clean and comfortable. . The kitchen is well equipped. Our special thanks to Titti who gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel at home. She is such a nice and sweet person.

Fijn huis, verblijf, plaats en gastvrouw

Locatie is erg mooi en het huis ook. Huis ligt op hetzelfde terrein als het huis van de gastvrouw maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. Gastvrouw ( tutti) is erg aardig en ondanks dat ze geen woord Engels spreekt is dit geen enkel probleem ( leve Google translate). Verder hebben wij geen enkele last gehad van de bouwvakkers of geluiden van de verbouwing van haar huis. Zal nog tot einde van het jaar duren maar is voornamelijk afwerking. Resumé fijn huis en verblijf gehad. Zwembad ligt op het gezamenlijk gedeelte wat voor ons geen probleem was. Enige wat nog verbeterd zou kunnen worden zijn betere hoofdkussens en een vaatwasser maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Fijn huis en ve verblijf dus aanrader.

Un coin de paradis

La maison se trouve tout près de celle de Titti, la propriétaire qui est très sympathique. Sa discrétion a fait que cette proximité ne nous a pas gêné. La maison est conforme aux photos. Lumineuse, propre, fonctionnelle, au calme (pas gênés par des bruits de travaux lorsque nous y étions) et avec cette vue merveilleuse couplée avec le son des vagues, un pur apaisement ! Nos enfants ont pu voguer de la piscine hors sol à la mer accessible depuis la propriété par un portillon, quelques escaliers puis accessible par les rochers, ils se sont régalés ☀️ Pour ceux qui préfèrent flâner, la terrasse avec vue sur mer permet une détente absolue. La maison est proche de Syracuse, superbe endroit. L’aéroport de Catane est à une heure de route, le trajet se fait aisément. Si vous voulez être les pieds dans l’eau et vous déconnecter du quotidien, cette maison vous attend 😉

Mooie ligging

Zeer mooi gelegen. Het huisje was niet al te proper toen we er aankwamen. Er is slechts airco in 1 kamer! De gastvrouw spreekt enkel Italiaans, dat heeft ook zijn charme... maar hierdoor verloopt de communicatie heel chaotisch.

Holiday horror

We lead busy lives and were very much looking forward to a peaceful, restful break. However we arrived at Titti’s blue house to find her home adjacent to the blue house, clad in scaffolding! She is having building work done , which won’t be finished until September 19, and the builders arrived every day except Sunday at 0700 and finishing at 1700. No mention was made of this on the website so we were not able to make an informed decision when booking this property. We complained to Titti that this situation was unacceptable and she said that the noise was not usually this bad. She then told us that she was going away for 3 days and if we had any issues we should speak to her 14 year old daughter who was living in the main house(building site) with her grandmother. We did not see Titti again which was surprising and frankly, shocking, as she knew we were unhappy about the situation we found ourselves in. What happened to customer care? This holiday was mis-sold to us but when we read the cancellation details Titti has a no refund policy. People booking this after us ( and the property appears to be pretty fully booked) will be disappointed if they are hoping for a restful break. Additionally the garden gate to the rocky shore was being rebuilt so we were unable to use this and the above ground pool, which was supposed to be for our exclusive use, used by Alessia , Titti’s 14 year old daughter , her friends and other presumably family members. We had to go out every day as there was no possibility of a peaceful read in the garden or on the deck. Our holiday turned out to be very stressful and we had to rise at 0600 to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful location before the builders arrived. We hoped we might enjoy Saturday but it appears the builders even work from 0700-1400 then. This property has not been described honestly and it is shocking that Titti is booking out this accommodation under false pretences. The fact that major building work is ongoing should be mentioned so that people know what to expect if they decide to go ahead and book this property.

Not as advertised

The house is in a great location, close to beaches, restaurants and bars. We were greeted by the owner's teenage daughter who did not speak a word of English and our orientation to the house was not great. When the owner arrived we were greeted warmly in Italian; contrary to what is indicated on the website, Titti does not speak English at all and Google Translation was a necessity. What looks to be a private pool is not at all and was in use a lot of the time by the teenage daughter and friends. We did not feel comfortable using it at all. Titti did give us two very good recommendations for breakfast and a lovely fish restaurant about 45 minutes by foot and a8 minutes by car down the road along the coast. There were no instructions about AC etc (there was a heat wave so it was badly needed) and we were told off by Titti for using it too much. The wi-fi also stopped working after 2 days and despite contacting her, the issue was never resolved. While we were there (June 2019) her house (very close on the same property) was being renovated so we were woken by 7 am by the workers along with their noise. I was also splattered with concrete from above one day when leaving the property. That said, the location alone was worth it and we enjoyed the nearby towns of Noto etc.

Simply Charming

The house is very neat and well planned and has a wonderful view out to see and across the small bay. Titti was very welcoming and always made us feel relaxed. We felt like welcome guests and enjoyed playing with dogs (but wished we'd seen more of the cats). Basically, everything about the place has a restful charm about it and I wish we'd had the Italian to have expressed this to Titti. Thanks so much!

dream terrace

We had a great stay at Tittis lovely House. The fenced garden was perfect with a toddler girl and our son took huge pleasure in exploring the rocks at sealevel. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The apartment was clean an the bed comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The washing Maschine was there, too. There are nice beaches around and sights like Noto and Syracuse near by. So thank you very much Titti. We‘d enjoyed every day.

Heel mooi en compleet huisje. Fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Zeer gastvrije eigenaar. Centraal gelegen. Noto, Ciracuse, Etna en Scicli zijn aanraders. Stranden lastig om te bereiken. Of dat lag aan ons 😉

Un vrai coin de paradis! Un émerveillement de chaque instant.

Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux! La maison est idéalement située en bord de mer. Les levers de soleil sont tous plus beaux les uns que les autres. La maison est superbe, rien ne manque, la deco est de très bon goût. La terrasse donné directement sur la mer. Qu’il est agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner ou de dîner dans un tel environnement. Le jardin est extraordinaire, avec des cactées hors normes. Il y a tout pour passer un séjour idéal: portail électrique, bains de soleil, salon de jardin, climatisation... et la plage de sable est à peine à 100m. Mais on peut également se baigner et voir les poissons au pied de la terrasse. Quant à Titti et sa fille Alessia, il faut les rencontrer! Elles sont chaleureuses, généreuses, toujours disponibles. Leur sourire et leur joie de vivre sont permanents. Et les pâtes aux fruits de mer de Titti... Sans flagornerie, Notre séjour fut un enchantement de part le site et l’accueil exceptionnels. ottica casa con vista ecccezionale

la casa è davvero graziosa, gode di una vista mare da far perdere il fiato, è accessoriata di tutto e la notte si dorme davvero bene grazie al clima mite e un letto mai provato cosi comodo fuori casa mia. Ma il plus lo da Titti e tutta la sua famiglia (cani compresi) che ti fanno sentire non un ospite ma bensì perte di loro.
