Lovely holiday at the Old Police House - ideal location for easy walk to beach and shops, especially good with young children. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and we were very happy to stay here.

Lovely home, which is deceptively large
We had such a lovely time staying here. The location was great as the town was a few minutes walk away. Swanage beach is walking distance, but we preferred to take the 10 minute drive to the more picturesque Studland Bay.
The house is quite large, much larger than I thought it would be and very clean and cosy. Very comfortable beds and pillows. We all slept really well (it could have been all the fresh air too!).
We were a party of 5: 3 adults and 2 children. Alison answered all my questions and was very helpful. The children loved it and the top floor wet room was great, especially after spending the day on the beach.
We visited Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door and had a fantastic time - these were about 50 mins drive from the house. Kingston Lacy manor was about 35 mins drive and Corfe Castle was about 15 mins drive. We were National Trust members, so we could park free in all their car parks, so try and get membership and you'll save a fortune on parking alone!
We had a great time and I know the children will be talking about this holiday for long time.

Well positioned family home
This property is a loved family home, and we stayed whilst the owners were away. Our family of 5; (including 2 olds and one squeaker); had everything we needed for our stay, including a lovely welcome note from Ali’s family and really helpful info about the house and area. Great communication from Ali before and during our stay.
The house is really well positioned near the centre of Swanage - a 5 minute flat walk away. Close by beautiful beaches at Studland and Corfe Castle both a very short drive away.
Parking for one vehicle on hard standing in front of the house. If you bring more than one car, and stay in peak season; it’s worth noting on-road parking is at a premium - and you may find yourself a short walk away... although not a massive hardship.
We had a great holiday and would be really happy to stay again!!
