Skomer View is a spacious, detached holiday home offering wonderful views over St Brides Bay to Skomer Island. You will really appreciate how close you are to the sea and coast in the first floor lounge with one glazed wall, maximising the view; it allows you to really enjoy it while you relax on the comfortable sofas. Set back down its own drive in the village of Roch, it is less than 2 miles from the popular Newgale beach. Furnished in a contemporary style in bold seaside colours, it is beautifully decorated. The modern well-fitted and equipped kitchen opens to the dining room, perfect for leisurely family meals together. French doors open to a paved terrace with steps down to a large enclosed lawn, ideal to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and for children to play. Many of the spacious bedrooms also offer sea views.
Tucked away on the edge of the village of Roch with its ancient castle, the house is ideally located. There is a village shop and microbrewery craft ale pub, while the beautiful sandy beach of Newgale, popular with surfers, is 1.5 miles away. Spend your days on the beach with its water sports hire shop then refresh at the pub or try one of the 2 cafes located on the beach. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really explore this stunning coastline on foot. A horse ride on the beach from Nolton Haven with its pretty cove should not be missed. The picturesque harbour village of Solva is nearby, enjoy sampling its pubs, restaurants or wander its galleries and antique shops or a little further on lies the world's smallest city of St David’s with its excellent facilities and historic Cathedral and Bishops Palace. In the other direction lie more excellent beaches to try including the long, sandy beach at Broad Haven and the sheltered cove of Little Haven.
A perfect house for family and friends to get together for a holiday and ideally placed to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Gorgeous house, tastefully decorated throughout, homely, cosy feel but with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen, stunning views from the upstairs lounge, great enclosed garden for the dogs and plenty of nice patio furniture to use and enjoy a meal or glass of wine. We had a lovely break here, totally relaxing.
We had a great week.Lovely property in a good location. Very spacious and great terrace and garden. The downside is that whilst pets are allowed, which is fine, the downstairs is part carpeted and smelled badly. I would prefer hard floors to ensure absolute cleanliness, especially in the dining room. The downstairs cloakroom is also carpeted and had a strong smell of urine. Other than these things, everything was really fab.

Can only say that we have never had comments like this before and had these guests got in touch to say there was a problem we would have had the carpets cleaned straightaway. There was no communication and these guests only complained as a defence when they left 2 hours late causing a massive problem for the caretakers!
Lovely spacious house with good views and wonderful walks in the local area. Secure garden, beautiful upstairs lounge and lovely big table to gather everyone together downstairs. Comfy bed and a good shower!
Overall a very nice, comfortable and spacious property, with lovely views over the fields and coast beyond.
Some of the bedroom furniture needs updating, with one of the children's single beds having some broken slats….
We couldn’t work out what the arrangement was for recycling, so a little more information on that would be helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay and this property is great for a large family group. Thoroughly recommended,
Had a great stay. Good size house, in beautiful location. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Adequate cooking facilities, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Within easy reach of coast, both coves and longer stretches of beach. Numerous pubs and restaurants in the area.
A couple of minor issues resolved very efficiently by the agents.
A great base for our family holiday in Pembrokeshire. Perfect location for seeing the best of the spectacular coastline, just 5 mins from fabulous Newgale beach. Plenty of room for 3 generations of family, great sized dining room and our 3 year old especially loved the playroom! Very homely, the kitchen and utility room were well equipped, beds comfy and the view across countryside to the sea were wonderful. A well-loved and well-used family holiday home, it could do with a bit of maintenance and a deep clean here and there, which I have unfortunately had to knock a star off for. There is a farm next door which was quite noisy during the day and lots of flies about, but as we were out every day this wasn't a major inconvenience to us. Thank you!
A large house with good accommodation for eight people. Good parking, we managed to fit 4 cars in the drive and an enclosed garden for the dog. Well equipped kitchen and good sized dining room.
