We spent three weeks at the Chroussiano Farmhouse and it was one of the best things we have ever done. The whole booking process was super easy and a few days upon arrival Alex contacted us and made sure we made it to the property without any inconvenient. Due to medical reasons, she wasn't able to come and meet us, but she was super attentive and eager to pick up our calls any time we had a question. Then his husband also had to go back to Athens, so we spend must of our time alone, hanging out with the cats and enjoying the sweet smell of rosemary every afternoon when the sun set.
Terry's parents were in the house next door, and even though they didn't speak english, we really enjoyed their company any time they showed up. They would shows us the farm and bring us fresh eggs every morning and other produce that I used for cooking... I even made a fig tart with figs, almonds and eggs from the farm!
The house is super nice, very clean, and it has all the commodities (ac, internet, an equipped kitchen, etc). No washing machine though, but you can take your laundry anytime you go and visit the town.
The property is on top of a hill, so it is necessary to have a vehicle. We didn't have one, so we had to take cabs all the time. Cabs are totally fine, but when you stay for three weeks, you end up using them a lot! Also, the beaches are a little bit far, so better to drive than walking on a road with no sidewalks under the sun.
In general, we loved our time at the Chroussiano Farmhouse and we can't wait to go back now with our kid!
