This stunning 5 bedroom luxury detached house sleeps 8. In a great location within Widemouth Bay, and is a superb choice for a coastal get away.

Widemouth Bay is one of North Cornwall's Premier Swimming & Surfing Beaches. Black Rock Beach, Wanson are 2 of 5 other beaches located within close proximity to this property. With great links to the A39 you can use Rutland as a base for exploring all what Cornwall has to offer, or just stroll to the beach for the day.

Rutland Court is a modern detached property of large proportions and has a good sized garden. The house offers comfortable open plan living space downstairs which includes a spacious well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is a large lounge area with patio doors leading out onto the terrace and garden. There is also a downstairs cloakroom plus a laundry / utility room with back porch and rear entrance. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs with a master bedroom having an ensuite and one large family bathroom with large walk in shower and separate bath. The house is well equipped and the furniture and fittings are of a good standard. The property comfortably sleeps 8 people within its 5 bedrooms all situated on the first floor.

The lounge offers a large 50 inch TV with Freeview, DVD player and selection of DVD's and good selection of books.

Rutland Court is a great place to unwind and relax. Outside on the terrace is a paved area with ample seating and tables to enjoy relaxing or having a bbq. A fenced garden to the front and rear. There is ample parking for cars on the private gated driveway.

The Widemouth Manor Hotel is within easy walking distance where you can enjoy a drink or meal on their front terrace or grounds and watch the wonderful sunsets in the bay. Bude is a short drive away, a couple of miles by car. Or if you are feeling more energetic you can stroll along the coastal path taking in the views and sea air along the way. Rutland Court is a good base to visit, nearby Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel or Clovelly with all they have to offer. Or further along the coast to Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay with their visitor attractions.

We will accept 1 well behaved dog by negotiation.

Nice relaxing holiday

We had a great time at Rutland Court. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and a great location only 10 mins walk from the beach.

Lovely

Kev and Kim are excellent hosts, and were available at all times for any query. Kim also provided recommends before we arrived. The house is spacious, well presented and in particular the kitchen is well stocked. And it’s only steps away from a beautiful coastal walk into Bude.

Just perfect

We had a wonderful stay in Rutland Court, well worth the long drive from Germany. A very well equipped house in a quiet and beautiful area. The Manor House next door for great food and drinks and a lovely view and all very dog friendly. Kim and Kevin are lovely landlords and so very helpful. It was for us the perfect holiday. We loved every minute. Thank you so much 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Rutland Court. Kim and Kevin could not have been more helpful both with questions before we arrived and when we stayed. The house was just as described in a wonderful location. The pub next door was a bonus with amazing food - the chef great!!!! We would certainly book again

Gorgeous situation and a wonderful house for 2 families of 4!

We had a brilliant week in Rutland Court! Kim and Kevin were very friendly, helpful and easy to contact for our entire stay. The house is perfect for 2 families of 4. We all had very comfy bedrooms, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room very spacious and comfy. The views from the seaview bedrooms was spectacular and the fully enclosed garden was perfect for our little cocker spaniel and us to chill out in! The only thing that would have slightly improved our stay would have been king size beds in the 2 main bedrooms and the right wire to connect the DVD player to the TV so we could watch a movie. These are tiny points abd we really did have a lovely stay in Rutland Court and would recommend the house to anyone.

The house was lovely and communication was easy and good with the hosts I think it would have been helpful if we’d been asked about booking meals at the pub in advance of our stay We tried on a few occasions and were told there was no availability for a table for our entire stay

Wonderful holiday

We stayed at Rutland Court for a week in July 2021 and had an amazing time. The house was perfect for the 7 of us and is equipped to a very high standard. The hosts Kev and Kim are so helpful. The restaurant in the grounds of the house is perfectly located and serves great food. We would love to stay again and highly recommend it to all.

Great place for a beach holiday

Really nice property, spacious, well equipped and a great location for the beach. 10 mins walk or a short drive to the beach car park. If you drive though the car parks fill up fast on a sunny day in the holidays. We had a great time, two families with four kids age 8-12. Surfing, coasteering and a few day trips - it was a great week. Having the hotel on the doorstep is a bonus for a drink at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset!

Fantastic!

The house is well equipt and nicely set out. It has everything you need (although we do wish the games room had been in action especially with the weather we had). Kev and the rest of the family were on hand if we had any questions or needed anything and having the pub and beach so close made the whole holiday very easy. It’s a fantastic area to explore and that we did! Thank you Team Widemouth Manor we had a blast.

Family stay

The property was just what we needed. Well equipped and good location. Can walk to beach in 10 mins on coastal path but is steep in places so not suitable for toddlers. Went to local spa near the weir which was lovely and Bude Segway is about 15 mins away. The sunset lounge on Widemouth Manor next door worth a visit. Shame the weather meant we did not make much use of outside as had hoped. Owner very friendly and only next door if any issues.

Great location, peaceful and fantastic views

The location is fantastic right next to the hotel, bar & restaurant although you never hear any noise it’s a very short walk to the beach we had a evening picnic there it was fabulous. The views from the main bedroom from the bed are fantastic which by the way are extremely comfortable make you not want to get up I slept very well. Make sure to book any restaurant bookings in advance because of COVID everywhere good gets booked pretty quickly. Download the parking app JustPark and then you never have to worry about having change for parking anywhere. If you visiting Port Isaac first go through Port Gaverne and park at the top of the hill arrive early to avoid disappointment as it fills up quickly once you’ve finished at Port Isaac walk down the hill to Port Gaverne the lunch food is fabulous and so is the setting. Crackington Haven is definitely worth a cove visit the coffee is great especially sat on the wall watching the sea and the world go by.
