About Leila McLelland
I am an Architect and organiser of 'Inspirational Art Holidays' in south-west France. Joint owner of our French holiday property near Najac in the Midi-Pyrenees region . I am passionate about art, architecture and the environment. I enjoy sketching and walking in the great outdoors.
Leila McLelland purchased this Farmhouse in 2004
Why Leila McLelland chose Saint-André-de-Najac
We moved to France in 2003 to raise a family, searching for a laid-back, slower pace of life. We fell in love with the South-West with its romantic medieval architecture, rolling hills, sunflowers & vineyards. In 2004 we bought Le Combal, a derelict stone barn. The property grabbed our attention with it's uninterrupted views towards the Pyrenees Mountains -a real sense of the 'big sky'.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
We love the spectacular views and watching the weather roll in. We cherish the open space, the tranquillity and wildlife, often spotting hares, deer, hawks and wild boar in the meadows surrounding the barn. We have been running a successful holiday business now for 10 years, we loved living is this beautiful area of France and enjoy sharing it with holidaymakers from all over the world who come to stay in our gite.
