This private and newly furnished 2-bed / 1-bath (827 sq. ft.) condominium is on a quiet residential street in one of Tacoma’s best neighborhoods (North Slope). It is on the second (middle - no stairs) floor of a quiet, safe 11 unit building. Surrounded by old growth trees, 100-year-old mansions, and nearby views of Commencement Bay, the condo is conveniently located within walking distance of groceries, restaurants and movie houses.

The property is next door to the largest mansion in Tacoma. It is close to downtown, Old Town, the waterfront and the hip 6 Ave Commercial district, the universities, the hospital and Point Defiance Park. The building sits beside the William Rust mansion, one of the largest mansions in Tacoma and a few blocks south of the prestigious private Annie Write School.

The condo is substantially remodeled with a new fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, garburator, Keurig coffee maker & a drip coffee machine with K-pods and coffee). The unit has a Romeo (window) balcony overlooking tree lined streets and substantial 100 year old houses.

There is a new 40” smart TV with cable TV, Wi-Fi, High Speed Internet, en-suite laundry, and an electric fireplace.

This is a dedicated short term furnished executive rental.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a comfortable new mattress.

The second bedroom has a new double bed with a comfortable new mattress.

The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a washer dryer.

The living room has a new queen-sized sofa bed, and an electric fireplace.

The dining room has a table and chairs for 4, and a sliding glass door to the balcony.

The front door access is from the outside (the building has no interior hallways). Free onsite parking is available in front and behind the unit. It is recommended you use the rear on site parking spaces.

There is plenty of closet storage. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap), a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee K-pods and gourmet drip coffee are provided.

The bus stop is in front of building on Yakima Ave.

Within two minuets by car (or a 15 walk) you are at the best Tacoma has to offer: restaurants, coffee shops, stores, grocery store, the Ruston Way waterfront walking path, the Tacoma Little Theater, downtown, the convention center, hospital, and the Movie Theater.

Slightly further and you are the Museums of Glass, the Tacoma Art Museum, the universities (PLU & UW), the Rialto and Pantages Theaters, and Point Defiance Park.

Seattle is 40 minuets north on 1-5. Portland is 2.5 hours south. Mt Rainier National Park is 2 hours away. Olympia National Park is 2.5 hour drive.

Perfect Spot

We often come to Tacoma from Texas to visit our daughter at UPS. This is the perfect condo for us, clean and comfortable, a must have washer and dryer, and an excellent starting point for long walks. Its close to the parts of Tacoma that we love and use the most. Well done.

I traveled with my 81 year old father to visit his brother in Tacoma from Dallas.

The apartment or condo was perfect for our stay! It was convenient and provided all the comforts of home! The beds were perfect! One night I actually slept for 10 hours! I have a lot of sleep issues. I haven't slept more than 7 hours in years! If we come back to Tacoma in the future I will definitely consider staying in this unit again if available!

The condo is located in beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood in Tacoma.

We really enjoyed our stay. We felt very at home and comfortable. The condo was clean and had great amenities. We wish it had been warmer weather so we could have enjoyed the balcony. We were close to downtown, and also not far driving distance from restaurants and grocery stores. The building was easy to find. Parking the car in the back, which was closer to the entry, was always available. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. Ron was always helpful and quick to respond to emails.

Comfortable and Clean!

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. My family and I felt right at home. The property is well maintaimed and has all the essentials to make your stay stress free. The bedrooms and living area are spacious with large windows, so that you can enjoy the beautiful neighborhood. My family and I would definitely stay here again!

Cleaning Fee $80

NOTE RE CLEANING COSTS:
The $70 I charge for cleaning is what it costs me to pay a cleaner for 2 hours. 90% of guest’s checkout cleaning is covered in the 2 hour fee. But occasionally a guest is abnormally messy. Consequently, we have instituted a policy where we will deduct from your $200 deposit any additional cleaning required, at the rate of $35 per hour, to return the condo to its pre-rented condition.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
